It's a good cupcake shop. It was not a transformative cupcake, but it was a good, and nicely sized cupcake. They have a nice little storefront and, as others have commented, it's really small inside. Oh my goodness Lehigh Valley, wake up! Why do people like this place? Is it because there are literally no other options? There is nothing delicious about this place and here is why. My husband and I bought a groupon on a whim and decided to go for lunch. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! The groupon covered two gourmet hot dogs with fries AND nachos of our choice. It was filling and incredible! My husband got the #16 Cardinal dog and I got the #39 Bruin dog. They were plump perfect hotdogs with fresh toppings and made on the spot. Recently ordered cupcakes for our son's wedding reception, which was held two doors down, at the Gas House Dance Hall. These were the MOST exquisitely delicious cupcakes. Light, flavorful, and perfectly frosted (not glopped with tons on top, as some places do). We ordered the vanilla w/ vanilla frosting (looked wedding appropriate) and they were SO tasty. Everyone commented on them and made appropriate yummy sounds when eating them. We also had a need for a few gluten free cakes, for people with allergies, and Blondies had choices available - and the winner here is that unless you knew they were GF, you would not have known by taste alone. They were that good. Not gummy or pasty, as many other GF confections can be. The owners were delightful to work with, and even delivered the cakes to the event, as there was a hitch in picking them up on time for the event. They simply said "we'll walk them down. No problem" I cannot stress enough how accommodating and lovely they were to deal with. Blondies has a tremendous variety of cupcakes to try. Two sizes are available (large muffin size, or the traditional smaller ones, which is what we went with for your event). The pierogie casserole is outstanding. The Halushki is tops with their special onion and garlic sauce which gives it a tasty kick. You also have to try the french fry chips. Thin sliced with onions that you will not find anywhere out. They are sooo good. That is just the food section. Now onto the dessert and the over-sized cupcakes without the over-sized prices. The cupcakes which alone is worth the trip. If you are into cupcakes this is the ONLY place to go. The rotating variety of flavor combos provides you with a seemingly unending number of options (though last I spoke with her she had around 200+ recipes). What's more, she will take the time to discuss and create custom flavors if needed. My friend's husband loves the cake from KFC, so Blondie recreated (ie improved) this in cupcake form for his birthday.
