Had a Blast shaking my money maker! This was probably our forth bar for the night! It was not quite busy yet but the DJ was playing the tunes, and I was in the mood to dance. My husband and I opened a tab at the front bar, with drinks in hand and headed to the dance floor. We set our drinks on the smaller bar they have near the DJ booth along with my purse, the bartender was sweet and just stuck it behind the bar so I wouldn't have to worry about it. We danced for about 90 minutes, with maybe one drink refill in between for a break. By the time we had left the place was getting packed. We had a GREAT time, and met some cool people and just danced it up. Service was also great, and I really appreciate that the bartender was kind enough to hold my purse. Staff needs to understand there is a state statue that requires a business that serves food or alcohol that they are required to provide restroom facilities and they would not let me use the restroom after I repeatedly told them I had Crohn's disease and no it was not after closing time. They were still open and still serving people. read more

It's okay overall. Good dance music. Several bars on multiple floors. However, most of the bartenders are neither friendly nor fast. Front door security is on the rude side. The dress code is unevenly enforced. People will get turned away for wearing the same thing that someone who just entered is wearing. read more

Used to like this place, but will never be going back. I was looking for a friend and less than 5 minutes into me being there, the blonde bartender on the second floor yelled at me asking if I wanted a shot. I said yes thinking it was free (my mistake) and I took it and put it on my tab. I went up to the third floor and minutes later, security came and told me I had to leave because I was too intoxicated. I hadn't even had a drink there yet besides the shot. The bartender who gave me the shot had reported me to security. Absolutely disgusting behavior, if I had given more alcohol to someone who appeared to be "intoxicated" to me at my old bartending job, I would've been held legally liable. Literally the worst bar downtown. The bouncers and bartenders are EXTREMELY rude. Every single one of them. The red head bartender lies and says that all their liquor is the same price when I asked for the cheapest option. Then my bill came out to $27 for a shot of vodka and a tequila soda. That chick loves to take advantage of drunk people. The prices are outrageous, and you get treated like a dog here. Please go ANYWHERE else. While out with friends, we ran into another group of friends of a friend who were celebrating a birthday here. They have plenty of bars, 2 on the first floor and another on the second floor. They also have a rooftop, but it's closed until summer. The second floor has a balcony that everyone flocks to, so it quickly gets crowded and beaware that people will be smoking on it. Also, the tables they have out there are not stable, and your drinks will be spilled if not knocked on the floor. The second floor bar was not busy and got to us quickly. I ordered an adios MF, and it was delicious! I do wish they had maraschino cherries, but it was still very good. The DJ downstairs was playing some throwbacks and kept the vibe up! There isn't much room to dance, and people are trying to get by to use the bathroom or go to the pool room. There is also a guy who dresses up as a wigned knight that overlooks everyone and calls himself the watcher or keeper. It's very strange. This bar takes the cake for the worst place to go in downtown Colorado Springs. Customer service was horrendous. One bartender lost my friend's credit card after opening a tab and then attempted to gaslight the both of us that he never gave it to them. Another was extremely rude and cussed out multiple customers blaming them for her own mistakes. The music was also absolutely terrible. Atrocious remixes of already great songs which explains the lack of people coming in. Not to mention the toilet in the bathroom that was clogged and flooded the bathroom was never fixed after multiple hours of being there. Do not recommend on any night out. read more

For starters I was approached and told I could not vape inside which I understand and told the super security lesbian I apologized and it wouldn't happen again. Second, the whole atmosphere is weird and it seemed like almost every security person had a chip on their shoulder. Third, I had been in the bar for maybe 2 hours just hanging out with my date and only had 3 drinks, barely buzzing fr. She said I was visibly intoxicated(like isn't everyone at a bar???) There's literally buddies outside on the balcony doing pushups on the ground but god forbid I accidentally stumble once. Then proceeds to follow my date and I by our heels all the way downstairs. Don't waste your time! Horrible bar and atmosphere! This bar has a ridiculous rule that you can't wear a hat if it has a sports team symbol on it. I was told by security I would be "thrown out" if I was seen wearing my hat. Completely unnecessary language and poor response from the security. This place is ok but the service is terrible! I was visiting from Los Angeles and I felt very discriminated. The roof top bartender was very rude and racist. I was trying to order a drink and he didn't have what I wanted so he told me to go back where I came from! And then he threw my credit card and ID at me in which he lost my ID! Great place to go dancing! Not sure why people have so many negative reviews about it but it is a night club and you have to responsible to not get wasted and be unprofessional. Its my first time in Colorado Springs, and I'm pretty impressed with Blondies. My friends and I had an awesome time here! We got into Blondies for free. This lounge/club has 3 floors. The first floor has a little dance floor and I'm in love with the patio. Everyone here is super nice and all the guys are hella TALL! Perfect for Eye-Candy ladies!!! Pretty strange to walk in and see a massage chair setup, ladies getting their nails painted, and someone getting spray tanned upstairs! They also had a hair show going on. It was an event on Wednesdays that was pretty cool. Back to my review... Drink prices was not bad at all! I got double Ciroc and red bull for $10, can't get that anywhere on the east coast for that price. Bartender was nice and he got our drink orders quickly. I came here on Halloween Night 2014 and was impressed with how busy it was. Downtown was packed with people and Blondie's had a lineup outside, though it moved quickly enough and we had no trouble with the bouncers. The first floor music was the usual EDM stuff, nothing too memorable. The place was decorated with cobwebs so it looked pretty cool. Upon going inside and approaching the stairs to go to the second floor, there was a guy in a costume being dragged down the stairs by bouncers to be kicked out, along with a trailing group of more angry guys. Interesting introduction to Colorado Springs for this Torontonian, but hey, fights can happen anywhere. The second floor had a much more chill atmosphere, both in terms of the sound and the crowd, and the fire pits were nice to have because it was a cold night. The third floor patio would be great in the summer, but just like in Toronto's outdoor patio clubs, I'm not a fan of standing in the cold so I ended up staying on the second floor until about 1:45 when the bouncers started telling everyone to leave. If there's one complaint that I have for EVERY club and bar that I've ever been to, not just Blondie's, it's the way the bouncers treat patrons at the end of the night. We just spent a bunch of money on drinks (but no cover, hooray!) and now you're yelling at us to leave like we're animals. Yeah, drunk people can be pretty animalistic, but try to show some respect. At least when we got back downstairs, someone calmly told us that it was "time to leave". Bonus points for that. The bars on the first and second floor seemed quick enough, especially considering the Halloween crowd. All in all, I'd be willing to come back to Blondie's. It's definitely not a "world class" club, but it didn't disappoint for a relatively small city like Colorado Springs. read more

Was DDing for some friends at this place and had a terrible experience. Bartender tried to keep my friends 30$ in change just because he "didnt ask for it back", then proceeded to fudge the numbers on my tip, charging me an extra 4 dollars. the bouncers were pushy and didnt take their job seriously when I told them about some dude trying to pickpocket in the bar. This place has AWESOME martinis. My co-workers and I like to come to this place after work sometimes to get a quick drink but we don't come too often because it is a little pricey. Their beer selection is pitiful so, unless you want a fancy schmancy drink, don't go here! The bartenders are usually attractive young women and occassionally they say more than 2 words to you, which is nice. I have been only once for the night-time scene and it seemed like a pretty cool place. There is a little pool hall section, a dance section with a dj, a more loungy section on the second floor and a patio on the third. Going to the bar as a DD for friends isn't always the most fun when you get treated like a second class citizen by the bartender. You would hope that the bartender would serve you water without saying, "I'm serving paying customers first." After I asked him for a third time I changed my attitude by saying, "Why it was so hard to serve water if I was here before someone else? He told me to, "Get the fuck out of here before I get security." So I went up to security immediately and told them about the situation and they told me to talk to the manager as they didn't work directly for the night club. According to security they were just hired to deal with the safety of the venue. So I found the manager and he handled the situation by giving me a bottle of water. Attention Blondies Management, you need to fire the roof top male bartender that was the primary male bartender that served on the rooftop bar on Saturday, June 17th from at least 11-Close. He isn't good for business in respect to the management's finances, or the ramifications of legal actions that could be taken if a bartender refuses to serve water because other people are buying alcohol. Attention "bartender", if you weren't such a jerk you'd be in a better position in life. Then, you wouldn't be worried about the tips from alcohol sales. Don't get mad at me for your actions. Bouncers are terrible; won't let you in wearing a Rockies jersey or shirt even with team logo. I happened to have went to a game in Denver earlier before returning to the Springs and going here with some friends. I wasn't let in and was told that the establishment was warned by the police to not let anyone sporting jerseys or likewise in due to gang affiliation which is a red flag in itself. Assuming that the oddly enforced dress code isn't an issue for you, atmosphere inside isn't anything special. Security guards all have a napoleon complex. The way they talk to paying customers is absolutely disgusting. I was attacked and pulled out of there, because the guard told me to put my jacket back on, because my tank top didn't fit the dress code. I asked him why the women next to the bar was able to wear her tank top, and he and 3-5 other guards jumped on my back, tired to choke me and force me down the stairs. I really believe because I was holding the hand of my husband prior to this incident, that he 100% was homophobic, and didn't like the fact that he felt small next to me. My husband and I were walking back to our car from a date at Lumen8 and an employee from Blondies ran into my husband with a bucket of ice and then tried to start a confrontation with my husband who had done nothing wrong. My husband and I continued walking back to the car and then parked closer to Blondies and asked to speak to a manager. We returned and were then given the go around. Finally, we spoke to the manager (Jacob) who told us his "guys told a different story" about what had happened and he would have to review the video footage. He then told my husband he was being "confrontational" and walked away. We will be filing a formal complaint with the city and hopefully Blondie's business license will be recooked. As a COS patron and community member, I am appalled and disappointed at this establishment's treatment of me and my husband as we were simply walking back to our vehicle in front of Blondies after what should have been an enjoyable evening with friends. read more

Wasn't a huge fan of this place. Maybe because places like this aren't really my scene, but I had some issues. We went on a Saturday night and it was SUPER crowded. Almost beyond being able to walk anywhere or find a place to stand (I kinda figured that since there was a bouncer and a line to get in, that they would regulate the number of people they allowed in a little better. But more people is more money, so I guess they don't really care how comfortable everyone is). We made our way to the second floor which is more of a lounge (the first floor has a dance club vibe and the roof is nice for hanging out outside). I like the concept of having a different atmosphere on every floor, but the contrast could have been a little better. Had the second floor been a little more loungey I would have probably been inclined to stay a lot longer. We sent two of the men in our group to the bar to get drinks for us. In hindsight, we should have probably gone ourselves. It took a long time for them to come back. The drinks had heavy pours, which was nice, but by the time we actually got them, most of us were ready to leave. On our way out one of the girls in our group got separated from the rest of us. We all waited outside and one of our friends tried to go back inside to find her. We'd JUST walked out the door but the bouncer at the door would not let her back in to go find our friend. He pointed to the end of the line of people waiting to get in and said she could get in line if she wanted to go back in. None of us had any interest in spending more time there, we just wanted to find our friend and make sure she was ok. I found it pretty ridiculous that one of us wasn't allowed to go back in to find her. There are definitely better places to go to have a drink with friends, especially if you want to be able to talk to each other and stand somewhere without getting knocked into the whole time. read more

Ok just when I thought it couldn't get worse. I came back to blondies on Saturday and had an even grosser experience. My friends and I walk in and start dancing in the first floor. We see an open spot in the crowded dance floor and move over to it. We are dancing for about a minute when I feel a tap on my shoulder and the bouncer flashes his flashlight to the ground. We all look down and guess what we are dancing in?? Just guess! Freaking blood!!!! I have no idea what happened but there was blood splattered all over.
