The lounge offers a wide variety of great booze and a small selection of cigars. You can arrive, plonk yourself down in a seat at the bar or one of the couches, light your cigar and engage in a conversation with a random person you've just met. My traveling partner loved the music popping in, asked, and was told the name of the music collection that was playing. You may bring your own cigars, and buy a good cocktail from the many offered in the menu. I asked for, and was given a different glass for my Manhattan, and the drink was great! I would love to see a humidor, walk in preferably, even a small one; with a better selection of cigars. Well we were back again an as always, Gabe recognized us. He knows our drinks, even if we are only there once every few months. We have been coming here long rnough to have seen Gabe when he was training and have watched him train the new bartender. Saturday we got to see the new bartender on his own and you can see the enjoyment these 2 have working together. Service was excellent from the General manager (moving chairs so we could all sit together) to the greeting we received from Gabrielle and other bartenders. We said no problem and wouldn't vape, however, situation was escalated to the point we felt very uncomfortable even after communicating she wouldn't vape. Super disappointed with miscommunication. I've been here before; have had great experiences. However, last night some beta male server felt the need to confront us about our tip. Lololol. First off, dude brought us a drink and a cigar - taking up a total of about 8 min of his time. This dude had the nerve to come back and ask us if our tip was correct, then tattle tits went and told his manger, as if he was supposed to do something about it. Cigars, anyone? This was our 2nd stop for the night. Neither my husband or I actually smoke cigars but were open to checking places out. I do actually smoke cigarettes (yes I know, how horrible) which are also allowed to be smoked in this Lounge. We decided we would have a cocktail and chill out. They have a very large liquor selection, but their vodka stash is ridiculous and it literally takes up an entire wall. We sat and chatted with the bartender, he was a nice gentlemen and so was the lady bartender though she didn't serve us they were chatty and friendly. We were one & done here, since were really not cigar smokers and it is a very heavy smell which is hard for some to tolerate. Though we enjoyed our time, and the service was great. Drinks were on the pricier side, but not horrible and the selection, like i said is massive. I visited here after hearing about a chill cigar lounge with walls full of vodka and a giant humidor. Sounds dreamy right? I gave two stars only because there was a super cool male bartender. It COULD be a classy chill place if it wasn't sitting under a pile of garbage. Literally there are neon poster boards with actual poop drawn on them. It was also super offensive and political but even if it wasn't. There is POOP DRAWN ON THE WALL. There are also four blowup dolls dressed in underwear "sitting" at the bar. Suddenly I'm confused. When my friends told me we were going to a cigar and martini lounge I believe my reaction was "Meh" Even though I love the smell of cigars and have never met a martini I didn't like, I'm not about the frou frou places. Lucky for me, this place wasn't frou frou yet it wasn't a dive. I wasn't expecting this kind of place in downtown CO Springs and the best I can describe it is trendy without being haughty. It's not like the other places because people are actually wearing clothes and don't look like rejects from the Jersey Shore. I guess one could say more refined from the college joints down the street. The fact that I could actually hear others around me was a bonus since I hate loud bars where I have to keep going "Huh??? Whatja say??" As others have said, they have an amazing drink list and while I was feeling the $5 glasses of wine, my friends got a few of the martinis and they were all fabulous. The grape tasted exactly like grape kool aid and when I took a sip I knew I was right to order the red because I could've sat there and drank about six or seven of those bad boys! Mine (and all my friends') drinks were all pretty potent, and we never saw the bottom of a glass for long. Ambiance: It was a large group, and we all crammed in. Like the V Bar, the Rendezvous Lounge is going for the upper-scale, low-lighting, hardcore tented windows, intrigue feel, which it does fairly well. Rendezvous is another favorite bar of mine. I absolutely love the atmosphere and the fact that it is also a cigar bar. My husband and I brought in 2015 while smoking our Blondie cigar with deliciously made White Russians. The waitstaff are extremely friendly. If you're hoping to get a table I'd recommend you arrive before 9:30pm because it tends to get packed quickly. Drinks are made by expert mixologists. They don't "skimp" on the alcohol which is definitely nice, and the prices are spot on. Their cigar menu is quite substantial as well as their drink menu. If the drink you're looking for isn't on the menu the bartender will make it for you! If you're looking for a a good cigar and a nice drink to go with it then I highly recommend this establishment. I love the 1 star reviews of this place! No masks allowed, and people complain about it. How do smoke a cigar with a surgical mask on?
