Came here as a farewell send off to a good friend/coworker who this is their favorite bar and this place did not disappoint! I ordered the razorgirl because it had peach and cranberry so I knew it would sweet and it was! So good it was easy to drink and it was strong! I had to order some food after drinking it so I chose the fried dumplings and those were perfect! Crispy yet soft and packed with flavor! They were so good I devoured them quickly and left me wanting more! We really enjoyed our time, the atmosphere is casual and makes for easy conversations. The staff were great making sure we had everything we need, checking on us multiple times. I definitely will be back to try more drinks and food!

Came with a friend while her phone was dead. They had no physical menus for her to look at, but offered to charge her phone at least. This place is listed as a sushi restaurant and it's not; there's one sushi roll. There's like tops 15 things on the menu. I don't even understand why it is listed as anything more than a Japanese bar with some random Asian food.

Come early, it gets busy and not an overly large place. Anime decor, unique drinks and food! Edamame dip is fireee. Great chill vibe, have gone on a few dates here. Definitely recommend!

This was my second time visiting and I love it! First off it has a unique vibe. I've read it described as cyberpunk. I think that's accurate. I got a lychee mocktail which I loved. Also, they had a special shrimp lettuce wrap thing and that was amazing! The shrimp were fried well but not heavy and the sauce on it was good. Went well with the lettuce! I also enjoyed the tempura tofu bowl. The sauce is a bit on the sweet side for me but still really tasty and the mushrooms add a great flavor too. Finally I loved the combo rice bowl we got with both seared ahi tuna and salmon sashimi. Definitely worth visiting! And yes the service is worth mentioning too.

Anywhere that plays one piece on the wall is ok in my book. Drinks were rock solid! And food was great, but I was too drunk to take a steady photo.

Cyberpunk izakaya?!? We were ecstatic when we learned about this place, and it did not disappoint! Ambiance was so fun and service was great. The drink menu had unique options that were really good. Drinks were really well priced as well! If we lived here, we'd be regulars!

I can't believe I waited so long to check this place out! *Five stars all around* Gyoza - They were amazing, so amazing that we ordered a second round after our entrees. They were evenly fried and had a really good seasoning on the outside. Unagi bowl - A+. It had a good amount of eel and goodies. All of the flavors complimented each other. Decon Fakey 180 - A+. The shrimp tempura were so good that I wished we added extra shrimp to the bowl. The service was great! The pricing was reasonable. The cyberpunk theme was fun and interesting. The music was just the right volume. Highly recommend.

I knew I was going to love this spot the second I walked in. I was so very right with that initial feeling. The staff were absolutely so friendly. Everyone seemed to help everyone, loved seeing that. The food was delicious. My friend and I both ordered miso soups (which came with an onion ring each. Such a fun addition), the pickled cucumbers and some gyoza to share. It all was delicious. Oh! And we ordered peach izeko sparkling sake jelly shots. Our favorite of the night. We each got two and if we had more time, proooobably would have ordered a few more. They were so tasty and the texture was so fun! Can't wait to bring my husband here.

This normally isn't my type of food but this was the only last minute option in a Friday night with immediate seating. The menu is very big but everything we had was REALLY good! I'm glad we tried something new. My son loved the dumplings. The miso soup and sushi was great and all the bowls were excellent. The service was also outstanding!

    The razorgirl. Yum!

My husband is from Chiba, so when we were visiting the Springs and he saw the sign for Chiba Bar, we had to stop in. It turned out to be a cyberpunk, anime themed bar with very tasty drinks and Japanese snacks. The bar is based on the book Neuromancer. My geeky heart was delighted. I had the razorgirl to drink, and we had takoyaki and gyoza for snacks. The takoyaki were amazing. The gyoza were a little overcooked but the flavor was good. I love the ambiance here; the art is awesome and the anime and campy movies on the screens is a blast. It's loud, but that's what I'd expect. Everyone was having a lot of fun. The servers are great. The owner came over to chat and he's very friendly. Everyone was busy but service was prompt and the drinks are great. Love it here!

I didn't set out for a vegetarian meal, but who knew edamame dip and miso soup could be so flavorful? I ate so much I didn't leave any room for an entree. The bartender serving was attentive, and the place was dimly lit for a hideaway feel with fun music, good sake and cocktail selections and a crowd as eclectic as its decor and overall vibe. Great find!

The skinny: super fun bar with great ambiance. Solid (but not blow you away) food Overall: first off the spot is really cool. Cyber punk, anime, vibes with fun graffiti, memorabilia, and multiple TV's playing different Japanese/Chinese/lofi videos. We were so immersed in the different decorations and tv clips - think studio Ghibli, old kungfu movies, anime. This spot is fun. For food, everything was fun, uniquely plated, and overall solid. There just wasn't anything that really blew me away. The vibes and ambiance was really what pushed it to a 4 for me. We had the miso soup (fun with a large onion ring you could dip in the soup), takoyaki was decent but a little gooey for my liking. The combo bowl had decent flavors that were well balanced. Would I come back: I think this would be a solid spot that I'd come to hang with some drinks.

It was so delightful to encounter such an enchanting subterranean bar and adjoining rooms and hideaway booths all embracing a whimsical Alice in Wonderland theme. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were busy but impressively friendly and attentive. The food coming out of the amazingly small but organized kitchen looked so impressive - definitely something we would try next time! We had and Ol' Fashioned and of course tried their signature drink, The White Rabbit: Our Signature Martini: Vanilla Vodka, Coconut Rum, and a Dash of Cream, Topped with a Flaming Marshmallow. The White Rabbit was spot on, such a treat and not too sweet.

If you're sitting at the bar you can see the window where your food comes up -- our salad and fries both sat there about ten minutes before anyone brought them the ten feet over to us. Not a huge deal, but it's a little cruddy sitting there thinking "I'm pretty sure that's ours" and waiting. The ambiance is very dark, with a lot of stairs up and down -- you head into sort of a basement-type area. Everything I saw was clean and nice. It's a cool, funky spot to take a date or hit for happy hour, so the vibe and ambiance are definitely spot on for that. Signature cocktails -- all fine. Not the best thing ever, but solid. I'd have them again. Side salad -- good. The ranch is made in house and very flavorful, and the salad was actually loaded with veggies. French fries with garlic aioli -- a bit of a letdown. We didn't even finish them. They came out okay, just a little dry, and the aioli itself wasn't very good -- we didn't really like it. Pro tip: The entrées looked pricey, which is why we stuck to snacking at the bar -- and after the fries came out, we were fine calling it there and eating elsewhere. Overall, would recommend for happy hour, and would return.
