I came out looking like a flat, straggly lady w dirty hair. She asked how I like it and I was very polite and said more volume , please. We had no idea and said she could tease it!!! Nice girl but used a comb at the end and had no idea how to style hair. I went home a did my hair again . It needs to be washed for the product to be removed and a proper blow out.

And they ghosted me at the last minute. I was going out of town, so I had to look for someone to do my hair. I found Grace. She was actually able to fit me in the very next day. They did an excellent job; even though the person who was supposed to do my hair had picked out very bad hair. They still used it anyway. I was very grateful. They were very very kind and gentle. They did an outstanding job! The braids were beautiful and on point, I got Boho braids. I'm tender headed, so I was prepared to hurt, but they did not braid my brain. My head was sore, but I didn't get a headache. Again, though I'm tender headed. The braids were on point as they should be without being too tight.

I got my first balayage done when I was 16 and am not shy to the price it comes with. As a nurse, I can also tell when the person servicing you actually cares vs. doing a job. And my experience was the latter, unfortunately. The biggest turnoff was the hairstylist herself. Arrogant, and pretty much scolded me for my hair journey. I get it, I have thick, deva curls naturally. But this isn't something a client would want to hear (or at least make it sound nicer). She also didn't try her best to get to know me-- her client-- and instead was more interested with how I found her work. Didn't try for any small talk that I value, especially when I'm sitting in your chair for over 3 hours. She also didn't have time to actually cut my hair, which I wish she disclosed to me before my appointment. For $400+ (including tip), I paid for a really uncomfortable experience and wouldn't want to come back.
