Younger one is just at a year, and she fussed but she did pretty well. Nothing more than she would have for a shot. Bella was really chill, super good with my babes. UPDATE: I exchanged several text messages with Zac, trying to figure out why Lindsay would bail on a project she committed to. According to Zac, she initially said that it was because I took my shirt off when she asked me not to. I was wearing a button-up shirt and she was tattooing my upper arm, so I took my shirt HALFWAY off so that she could reach the spot (not to mention, she tattoos shirtless dudes every day ... why would it matter if I took my shirt off?). I called b.s. and Zac agreed, so he went back to her. The second time she said it was because I ignored her when she spoke to me. 1) She had her buddies in the room almost the entire time, so she was talking to them, not me; 2) if she did say something to me and I didn't respond, why would she assume I'm ignoring her instead of assuming I didn't hear her?; and 3) why would I just ignore someone if they're talking to me? Again ... b.s. I told Zac that I think he's jerking me around because I was holding him to his original quote. He then went off on a rambling tirade about how he's allergic to b.s. because he has military veterans in his family and blah blah blah. Finally decided to get my three helix piercings and walked in here on a random day. This place has really great vibes, and all of the people working seemed friendly and helpful. Isabella did my piercings and she made me feel right at home and confident. After the second piercing my ear was SHOOK so she kindly offered to give me a voucher to come back and get the third one done! Very considerate! I will definitely be back, and so far my piercings are healing nicely. Can't wait to see the finished product. I had to give this place 3 stars because of the experience. First the layout and atmosphere; I give it a 5 stars. It was clean and air conditioned, the staff was friendly, they had arcade games, Ink Master playing on a flat screen and very dim. Very comfortable place to hang out waiting to be tatted. Very clean a huge plus. The reason for the 3 was the miscommunication. I got texted by the owner and we schedule my tat at 7 pm and was told to go and ask for him Get there a quarter to 7 ask for him told its not him he's the owner and they will see who I was set up with. I ended up waiting till almost 9pm and no one had even started on me. Apparently the miscommunication caused my tattoo artist to be double booked and he wasn't aware I was schedule at 7. After waiting that long I walked out with nothing done and not to mention this was not close to home. Cory did reach out to me to schedule me in and work something out but unfortunately I wasn't able to schedule with him anytime soon. read more

THE PIERCER USES A PIERCING GUN/STAPLER. Absolutely no competent professional would use a piercing gun so she is either uneducated or she is educated and doesn't care about your well-being. And clearly, whoever the shop owner is either only care about your money or doesn't research who they hire. Don't waste your money here. If i could give this place zero stars i would. First of all me and my friends walked in there and nobody payed attention to us everyone was laying on a couch no one paying attention to the front. so my friends and i walked further back until we finally said hey and they all got up and started to act busy. When I asked about getting a finger tattoo nobody was too confident because i wanted such detailed work. so then i showed a picture of what i wanted just with less detail and codi (the artist) said oh yeah that's no big deal. not to mention he is also doing my friends butterfly tattoo on her neck. he didn't do a stencil for my finger tattoo. he free handed it. i feel so dumb looking back there was so many red flags and me or my friends tattoo both done by codi were any good. He didn't wrap our tattoos. he didn't clean them properly. I had ink all over my hand and my friend had ink all over her neck ear and face. Worst place ever. Do not ever go here unless you want your tattoo to look like a 4th grader drew it on with sharpie. read more

Seeing previous reviews for this place, I had high expectations for this place, but now that I've actually been here, this is my first and worst experience I've had. Not only was this place very busy, but the staff were drinking alcohol while working under pressure. Although there was a $20 flash sale, there were a select amount of choices that you could make and you could not request your own personal tattoo. I was in line waiting to be greeted and helped, yet I was completely ignored as if I were not there and also, they allowed another customer to cut in front of me and receive service before me. I was told that I can come back tomorrow for a tattoo, but I will definitely never be back. I understand that I may have come on the wrong day, but for a first impression this place is terrible. My judgment may very well be wrong because of course I have not seen this place on a normal day. But judging from what I've seen; The staff drinking alcohol, the staff ignoring customers, showing favoritism when it came to customers, and not allowing a customer to spend more money on their own tattoo of choice. Another thing to mention while I'm on the topic, is the location of this place. This place is probably the hardest place I've ever had find, there are no clear signs telling you where this place is and there is nothing to draw attention to the entrance. I know tattoo places cannot be compared to places other than that category, but I have never been anywhere where the staff drink alcohol not only in front of the customers but while tattooing customers. I saw they had a great artist I could make an appointment with, Lindsay.... but the lack of professionalism and consideration from her was upsetting/ bad for business. I went in shop Wed August 10th around 8pm and I booked an appointment the first Saturday of October 2022 for a large piece which would be a snake and flowers that would be located symmetrically on both thighs/ bottom. She required a 100 dollar deposit, which I was glad to pay. I contacted her again September 20th to see the update on my design we discussed and unfortunately we had to reschedule due to injuries induced by a car accident. I was very understanding and had no problem! We then moved it to the first Saturday of December 2022..... Nov 3rd 2022 she contacted me and said we needed to change the date again for the same reason before. Her injury. I was a little irritated but glad it was not short notice and understood her doctor advised her to not bend over for to long. We rescheduled again to January 28, 2023, of which I had to take the day off and use vacation time for, to give her time to heal. Should've been fine. However, I messaged her the Sunday before our appointment, a whole week in advance coming up to the date about designs and colors, asking questions and again on the Tuesday (24th) with no reply until 9:23pm the Friday before our appointment. She confirmed everything, or so I thought. Now today it was 12:52 am hours before the appointment she cancels, claiming to be sick, which I find odd considering she was out and about with her friends a couple days prior for her birthday, this I saw on her Instagram page (that I followed to keep updated about the appointment). Upon telling me this she then proceeded to ask to reschedule once again and I was willing to but after thinking the lack of curiosity Is too much. I asked for a refund of my down payment just for the lack of convenience of the whole thing and of course it was non-refundable. I ended up canceling because I can not trust that I will reschedule and get this thing done or even worse we start and I can never finish because my appointment never comes through. I saw great reviews for this place online and figured it would be a solid place to go for my first Friday the 13th tattoo. Unfortunately it was a huge disaster- the owner piled 50+ people into his shop, told people to lower their masks so he could take photos and yelled out "COVID isn't real".... when Texas had its most drastic surge of new cases and deaths within the last week. Social distancing wasn't enforced, masks were discouraged and the entire place was PACKED. We waited for 4 hours and still left without being tattooed. The owner blasted music so loud that you couldn't hear the person next to you unless you were screaming. He also walked around with a beer in hand, touching the heads of women in line, giving high fives and randomly shouting at people as they waited in line for their tattoos. The artists had to wipe down their own chairs and change out their own equipment in between customers, which really slowed down the progression. It was obvious that this shop had not anticipated the turn out that they had for this event, but regardless it was handled so poorly that there is no way in hell I will ever go back there. Keep my $20... I'm just mad at myself that I stuck around for that long. read more

I made an inpromtu decision to get a tattoo while in the area. I saw an advertisement at another business close by and decided to ask about the shop. The answers I received were all very positive, so I decided to walk down nearly an hour before closing. Fortunately, an artist was available to accommodate me. I was promptly greeted as I walked in by very friendly staff. Two artists were at the front counter and both took the time to ask me questions and take my information. In fact, everyone in the shop greeted the customers as they came in and out. I have had tattoos done in states all over the country and sometimes the staff can be rude or not talk to you at all. Other shops tend to run people in and out and not take the time to get to know clients. Blood Moon is nothing like other shops I have visited. It is VERY clean, tidy, trendy, comfortable and organized. From the exposed brick walls to the old hardwood floors, the business fits very well into this revamping area of Mansfield. Tim, the artist I met and did my tattoo was extremely nice and professional. The location of my art was in a somewhat personal area, and Tim was respectful of my exposed body. I did not feel uncomfortable at all. His work area was clean and his instruments were sterilized. Tim took the time to make sure my art was just the way I wanted it. I went to Blood moon for a leg piece. It took a lottle over 8 hours and there was no rush to get me out. There was no lack of attention to detail as you can see and this was a larger piece at that. I contacted Danny ahead of time and he took time to draw this piece. He truly exceeded what I expected and this was a cover up piece too. I would highly recommend. Plus, the atmosphere is amazing. This is no standard tattoo parlor. The artwork around this place alone let's you know you are working with true artist and the place is extremely clean.
