I decided to check out a food truck called Meggie's Lumpia and it was with other food trucks right beside Pope John Paul II school. Look for RED truck you couldn't miss it. I didn't want to try adobo but it seems like a lot of people were ordering it. so it must be good. Anyway, I got the beef stew (kaldereta). You can tell someone knows hot to cook. Perfect sauce with bay leaves, tender juicy bites of beef and root vegetable that were nicely roasted. 5 star!!! We also got the noodle dish, nicely seasoned reminded me of my stay in the Philippines. And yes! The egg roll, Meggie's Lumpia, was excellent. You can tell it's scratch- made and the dipping sauce was epic. Nicely reduced. It has a sweet heat that goes well with the egg roll. Mmm mmmm good!!!

When I looked at the menu confused he changed the price to the correct price. Not impressed. There are too many good taco trucks on the area to be ripped off like this. Won't be back.

Wonderful lady who took my order said it would be about 7 minutes. At 7:24pm she called me over to give me my order with a bright beautiful smile and standing behind her was her team all smiling and thanking me for coming by. My kids loved the kids burritos, very nice size, they each said it was one of the best they've had. (We frequent Mexican food), my lady enjoyed her taco meal, my burrito though, as big as my forearm, perfectly assembled (food was evenly placed and not grouped together, you know where a couple bites are just beans, then veggies, then finally you get a couple pieces of meat) the burrito must have weighed 3lbs. Absolute banger. I used to live on that side of town, and would swing by the truck at least once every couple of weeks, but it's been a year or so and I fell in love all over again. The food is absolutely amazing, the staff is incredibly friendly. Next time though, I've got to convince them of more spice... Food: The burger was good, but not great. The bun did its job well and didn't fall apart. The burger was thicker than a smash burger, but less than a quarter pounder. The beef was simply bland. It had either too little or no discernible seasoning to bring out the flavor of the meat. The cheese was nice and melty. The burger sauce was good. Honestly, we both decided we preferred a Sonic cheeseburger. (Sorry). The fries were simple, crinkle cut frozen potatoes. They also lacked flavor. We ate a few each and the rest went in the bin. Service: There was no line, so our order was promptly taken and the food came out quickly. Friendly service at the window. Ambience: it's a food truck. They have a pop-up canopy and a picnic table which we shared with other customers. Nice conversation, friendly people. Although I mentioned Sonic, it's clearly not the "best" burger in Olympia, but it is consistent. I like smash burgers and we have good options, but I'm still looking for a place that makes a thick, juicy, flavorful burger in Oly. So far, the best burger I've had is in Tacoma at Burger Seoul. The beef mixture includes brisket and is always full of flavor.
