Okay, I gotta say..LaBoba is the best boba I've found in Lacey so far! I've been on the hunt for a yummy boba spot ever since moving to Washington a little over a month ago, and I can confidently say this is the best one I've tried in Lacey so far. Even better, it's only about a 15 minute drive from home for me, so I already know I'll be coming back regularly! The shop was starting to get busy when I first arrived with my kiddo, and by the time we settled down in the back with our orders brought to us, all the tables had filled up. Despite the busyness, the atmosphere still felt relaxed and welcoming, giving off vibes that encourages you to actually sit and enjoy your drink without feeling rushed, if you decide to stay. They even have board games available if you want to hang out a bit longer. The service here is spectacular!! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. You can tell because they take their time with you (no pressure when ordering) and are more than happy to answer questions. I ordered the crème brûlée milk tea, which already comes with boba and crème brûlée foam, but I was curious about the ube foam too. The staff member walked me through all my options and helped me land on a half crème brûlée, half ube foam combo, which ended up being so creamy and delicious. I appreciate them being so patient with me because I can be a little indecisive with what I want lol. My son ordered the Thai tea with boba and tried the ube foam for the first time. He felt like the foam was a bit overpowering for his drink (all you could see was ube foam after he mixed his drink instead of the standard orange Thai tea), but honestly, I loved how generous they were with it for our drinks. If you're an ube fan, you won't be disappointed! We also shared a crème brûlée croiffle, and wowwee, that was a treat that totally hit the spot for my sweet tooth. The sauce was rich, sweet, and creamy, making it the perfect dessert to go along with our drinks. Once again, the staff did not disappoint and I was pleased how attentive they remained throughout our visit. They even promptly cleared our trash and plates without us having to ask, which just reiterates how on top of their customer service they are. First visit was such a great experience! I got a late-night drink with boba at this spot with my friend. I was pleasantly surprised by how bright and inviting it still felt even though it was late. They make it very clear that they are open -- the lights are bright, and as soon as you walk in, the staff is already prepared to take your order at the front counter. They were also actively cleaning tables to make sure customers had a place to sit. The seating was nicer than what you usually see in typical boba shops. The regular chairs had padding with a suede-like material, which made them super comfortable. They also have a bench-style seating area where you can sit back and relax. Overall, the space felt very living room-esque. As for the boba, it was great -- soft, chewy, and cooked well. The milk tea was sweet just the way that I like it, and I did not even have to specify a sweetness level; I just got the standard. The ice level was also perfect -- not too much -- so I actually got a full drink instead of mostly ice. I rated this place five stars mainly because of the staff. They were extremely attentive. I brought in outside food (not sure if that is technically allowed...oops), but they went out of their way to bring me a ladle, utensils, and chopsticks so I could choose what I preferred. I did not feel uncomfortable to ask for anything, and their overall energy made it feel like I could genuinely hang out with them one-on-one. They were watchful, friendly, and easygoing. Decided to try this place out because we were at Lacey for the day! The aesthetic of the store is so cute and I love the cow theme. The service given was amazing and they were quick as well. I could see this place as an amazing study cafe. I think the drinks were pretty good. The creme brûlée did t scream creme brûlée to me, more of just a tiger / brown sugar milk tea. Which is what it technically is. I think they put too much creme on the top that made it really thick to drink (even after shaking). The mango breeze was pretty good, but was way too sweet for our liking. Maybe we just need to adjust the sweetness. I do wanna go and try more flavors though, maybe these ones just didn't hit like we wanted it to. read more

I visited on a Friday afternoon around 2. The shop was clean and has their cow theme which is cute. I ordered a mango breeze. Simple order, no add in's. If I had realized I could drink it in less than ten sips, idk if I would have paid seven bucks for it. That is the going rate at most bubble tea shops in Washington. If I were to attempt it again, I'd ask for light ice, because drinking it all in less than two minutes was a shock and frustration. read more

Cute cozy boba cafe offering a variety of different milk/fruit tea flavors and toppings. They also offer Vietnamese drip coffee ("phin") and croffles (croissant waffles). The owners are super sweet and seem to always remember my typical orders (my favorites are the Thai Milk Tea with Crème Brûlée Topping and Jasmine Oolong Milk Tea 50% Sweet with Crème Brûlée Topping). Service is usually super quick and you can place your order ahead of time on Clover or DoorDash which is a huge plus! They are opened late as well! There are board games to play with as a group if you decide to sit down. Also a cute giant water buffalo statue that the kids would enjoy taking pictures with. What a cool little place to have a boba and a croffle. I've been there every day for the past three days because I'm slightly addicted to the creme brulee milk latte with boba, 1/2 sweetness (there's no coffee in it, just creamy creme brulee cheese foam). My niece always gets the taro milk tea with boba and today she tried the Oreo croffle which she liked. I'm getting the strawberry croffle tomorrow. There are four seating zones (stools at the window, tables near the front, lounge chairs near the front, and benches with tables and chairs lined up against the side wall. This place is very instagrammy with that cute moo cow as you come in and the soft round chairs that cup your body nicely. The staff is always nice and they really seem to appreciate their customers. I stopped here for a snack after a meeting I had in Lacey. Saw another nice review and the map said 5 mins from where I was at, so I headed over. I was impressed with the comfortable seating arraignments and soft warm lighting right off. But then a friendly young man emerged from the back and proceeded to smile warmly and welcome me in. Since I'd never been there before I said I'd need a minute to check out the menu and he said "Absolutely, take all the time you need. If you have any questions, I'm here to answer them ". I asked about a couple of the choices and he answered enthusiastically and gave me some options. I wound up choosing the Crème Brûlée boba and honestly, it was the best thing I've had out in too long of a time. I might even find an excuse or two to head down to Lacey (I live in Tacoma) just to hang out and bring a book. A+++ read more
