A litte over a year ago when we first started finding preschools for our little girl, I remember late at night getting a text from my wife asking me "hey! check out this place!" I tapped on the link and remembered thinking to myself, "Woah. All these 5 star reviews and some are even as long as essays!?" After reading all the raving reviews we called and left a voicemail wanting to get a tour. The classroom was spacious, clean and has a lot of natural lighting which was excellent because it didn't feel like your kiddo is locked up indoor. She also showed us the books and the scientific toys kids would play. Different toys had different teaching functions, not just purely for playing, which was nice. That was our 4th tour and after speaking for over an hour getting to know Miss Angela's teaching philosophy, we enrolled. Choosing a good preschool for your child is one of the first biggest decisions we all have to make as new parents. So I really wanted to take the time getting to know who is teaching my daughter. Not just what they are teaching, but who they are as a person. For children at this young age, the number one thing I am looking for in a teacher is patience, kindness, empathy, and compassion. And let me tell you, Miss Angela is one of the kindest and most empathatic person I've ever met. You just feel so secured and comfortable knowing your child is in the best hands. In terms of her academic programs, Miss Angela teaches different themes for each month. For example, during spring months she will teach about the nature, bugs, butterflies, lady bugs, etc. In class they will raise a butterfly from an egg, to caterpillar, to a chysalis, all the way to an adult butterfly. My daughter loved the lady bugs she got to bring home. Then, at the end of the month all the parents and the kids get together watching the release of those butterflies into the wild. Not sure what the future will look like for our kids with AI in the mix, but I love that Miss Angela focuses on teaching the kids how to think and how to ask the right questions. I can go on and on and on but really once you get a tour with Miss Angela you'll know what I am talking about. We are so glad to have found Bloom for our son as a preschool! It was nestled in a commercial area and I am one to be very skeptical of commercial style school but after taking the tour and interacting with Miss Angela it felt 100 times better than all the surrounding schools in the area that we have toured. Our son came from a play base parent volunteer school and felt it was lacking in terms of academics and wanted our son to progress a little more. We toured all the schools in the surrounding area of Chino Hills, talked to all the teachers, director slash "workers", each one just felt more about making a profit than about educating the youth. Also when we toured, no one really even interacted with our son that was with us except to say hi. It was different with Miss Angela, she actually spent some time during the tour letting our son explore and actually interacted with him. Just in the first few weeks our son showed so much academic progress even though he was barely 4. The teachers here are previous elementary school teachers and know about academics and treatment of young children and just observing how they interact with the kids and how the kids interact with each other, I could tell Bloom had the environment which was right for our son's educational growth. Not only did our son enjoy going to school everyday but he always talk about everything he accomplished inside the classroom. With the small classroom size and the way everything was setup for learning, it felt just like our own home for our son to grow and prosper. It is very hard to put into words the impact that Bloom, Ms. Angela, and Ms. Jenn had on our son, but will do my best in this review. When we found Bloom and we met with Ms. Angela, she gave us a tour and explained her philosophy, which seemed to line up perfectly with what we were looking for. She allowed him to explore everything there and answered all of HIS questions and not just ours. That's when we knew it would be a great fit. The first few months were a rollercoaster for him. Our son is naturally curious, has a lot of energy, and a very active imagination. Some of those traits don't translate well in a classroom, especially with other 4-5 year olds who feed off each other's energy. He had a mix of good days and some challenging ones as well, but Ms. Angela and Ms. Jenn never gave up on him and were always so supportive and positive with him. It not only helped shape his behavior in the classroom, but they also worked with us to ensure that he was getting consistent direction both at home and in school, which made a world of difference in his growth. On top of that, the monthly themes have done a wonderful job of keeping him engaged in learning. He would come home every day with a new fact about the ocean, space, animals, you name it. Our son has many food allergies that often causes him to not be able to participate in special occasions like Valentines Day or Halloween. Ms. Angela would always go out of her way to personally find treats for him that were allergy friendly. She would always make sure that he felt included and also kept us well informed. Being a parent of a child with allergies can be extremely stressful, but outside of our immediate family, there is no one we felt safer having our son with than Ms. Angela. When I researched preschools I thought there was no way a school can have over 50 all 5 star reviews. And then I toured with Ms. Angela and I immediately knew the 5 stars are well deserved. I had my child in another preschool that had great reviews and we even stood in line at 4AM to register to get a spot. Once we started, I saw how robotic the teachers were and how the academics weren't as on par as they described. My child dreaded going and cried and I could tell the teachers didn't care enough to help and just made excuses. We needed a change and I am so glad we found Bloom. We toured Bloom and I already felt how sincere Ms. Angela was and loved her teaching philosophy and caring personality. Within the 10 minutes we toured with her, she already had my child clapping syllables in words. Once we started Bloom there was no crying since day 1 and I felt confident all the teachers, Ms. Angela, Ms. Jenn, and Ms. Jennifer had our best interest in mind and would take care of my child. They customize worksheets for each child depending on what they need to work on which shows they really spend time with each child to see what they need to improve on academically and socially. Even the toys here are much more academically engaging which made a big difference since my child was bored with the other school toys. And the kids even get cute goodies at times to take home to help with learning. My child has learned so much already and truly enjoys going to school and learning and my Momma heart is so happy! I cannot recommend Bloom enough! And I'm so happy we encountered such caring teachers. It's been such a blessing to have our son enrolled in Bloom. He started in May 2023 and he's already shown so much progress! Not only is he learning so much academically (Numbers, letters, writing his name, syllables, colors, shapes, etc), he's also so much more well behaved and can converse so well. Our family is forever grateful to have found Bloom and our daughter is absolutely thriving here. Prior to enrolling my daughter in Bloom, she was in a different preschool and she cried and cried and cried every time I dropped her off. I usually don't take the time to write reviews online, but I felt more parents should know about Bloom. Where do I even begin! I enrolled my son Leo with Ms. Angela and Ms. Jenn. It's been such a wonderful experience for both my son and myself. He is so excited to go every morning and see his friends and I go to work for a couple hours with the comfort of knowing he is in such a loving and warm educational environment. My sons really enjoy going to Bloom everyday. Ms. Angela, Ms. Jenn and Ms. Cole have provided great care of my two kids. Everyday I picked them up, they always looks so happy and have fun during the 3 hrs learning. When looking for care of entire year in the pandemic reality we really wanted to prioritize a place where we felt there is going to be positive socialization and fun play and learn. But I don't have to leave kids all days long. At the beginning I saw the class environment it's so bright and clean I know I will feel comfortable to let my boys stay here. Now, I know I make a right decision. They also have flexible schedule for 2,3 or 5 days class. So one of my son go 2 days class and another go 5 days. My son Derek has been attending Bloom for a few months and instantly within the first week we have noticed a difference not only in his behavior, but in his attitude, the positivity that is instilled in him and the love that he receives from school is amazing. My twin girls graduated from Ms. Angela's class last summer and boy were they ready for kindergarten! They excelled in their class like no other. And because Ms. Angela and Ms. Jenn gave them such great foundation, kindergarten came easy. Before entering kinder, they were reading, spelling, doing simple additions and subtraction problems and so much more! I decided to put them in the DLI program at school where the teacher spoke 90% Spanish and 10% English to challenge them more. Hands down, Ms. Angela and Ms. Jenn are THE best! They will not only teach your child academically, but also help them become kids with great manners! I highly HIGHLY recommend this class. I wish my kids could have these teachers forever. We LOVE Bloom!!! Ms. Angela & Ms. Jenn are heaven sent and I cannot thank them enough for being the best teachers for my daughter. My husband and I were looking for preschools around the area for our daughter and randomly ran into bloom on yelp. My daughter was about to turn 4 and we wanted to have her get used to "school" before kindergarten next year. She usually has a hard time socializing with other kids and the word "school" was a big NO NO for her. She would always cry and say No every time we brought up school to her and tells us that it's scary. Hearing that from our daughter, I was already apprehensive in enrolling her in any program that required me leaving her. Most classes that she's attended always had to be mommy & me but I had to tell myself that she needed to get used to some socialization and structure before kindergarten next year. As you can tell, it wasn't just my daughter who was anxious about the whole situation but also myself. Ms. Angela reached out to me through email quickly after I had inquired. She asked us to come tour the place and see what Bloom was all about. The pictures on Yelp already caught my attention because it looked so nice!! Meeting Ms. Angela for the first time felt like a dream. She has such a calm and positive energy that just radiates every time she spoke. My daughter was hesitant to open up at first because of the new environment but she easily found a way to break her shell without being too pushy. She showed us around and gave us a run down of her method of teaching. I was amazed!! The way she teaches the kids is through play and hands on activities which was PERFECT for my daughter! At the end of the tour, Ms. Angela took the time to show our daughter around and even showed her some of the stuff they learned. As soon as we got in the car, my daughter who had a fear of school looks at me and says "Mama I like that school, I can't wait to go back". Let me tell you, this mama almost shed a tear. I also felt soooo at ease thinking about entrusting my daughter in their care. I just felt that it was the right place and the right teacher for her. 2 weeks into the program, my daughter can't wait to go to school every time we drop her off. She's enrolled MWF and she even asks why she can't go every day! She has so many stories every time we pick her up :) We are so grateful to have found this place!!! Thank you Bloom! read more

Ms. Angela has been very influential and important in my family. She has taught my 13 year old 10 year old and now has my 5 year old. I cannot say enough good things about her program. She set the foundation for all my 3 children. They gained valuable knowledge not just academically but has taught them respect and responsibility. My son is about to start high school and I get so much praise from all his teachers and I can truly say Ms. Angela has played a great part in guiding them. Miss Angela started her "Let's Get Ready for Kindergarten" preschool program through the city about ten years ago, and her passion and love for teaching and her students just continues to grow! I have put two of my daughters through Miss Angela's preschool program and words cannot describe how much they love Miss Angela and Miss Jenn. These two teachers truly care about the kids that are in their care. The students work on their fundamental skills needed for Kindergarten, all in a loving , fun and creative environment. I feel so lucky to found them and let my daughter join Ms Angela and Ms Jann's classroom, my daughter was so happy to go to school and asked for going everyday. Even I just put my daughter on the first day, I can see how different they are ,that compare my experience in other preschools.
