We have been sending our one and three-year-old to Sproutlets Daycare for a few months now, and we couldn't be happier with the care they receive. Ms. Nana, Ms. Paloma, and Ms. Sandra have been incredibly attentive to our children. Ms. Nana treats our kids as if they were her own, always going above and beyond to care for them. She feeds them on demand and has significantly improved my daughter's potty training habits. We love Ms. Paloma's yoga sessions and all the crafts, circle time, and activities they provide daily. My daughter has learned so many new songs and sings them nonstop. Ms. Nana also keeps us updated with pictures and videos of their activities and balanced meals. Miss Nana is the absolute best! My little one doesn't like everyone, but he loves her. She's kind and compassionate and truly cares about the kids. She feeds them balanced, home cooked meals and provides a clean and safe environment for them. She also teaches them and does classes to help prepare them for school. She'll send me updates and pictures throughout the day. They also have water days during the summer, which my son really enjoys. I'm so thankful for Sproutlets. My 3 year old son started coming here in may of 2022. He had a delay in his speech prior to attending. In the last 3 months his vocabulary and speech have improved greatly. He absolutely adores Miss Nana and all the kiddos that attend here. Miss Nana prepares their breakfast, lunch and for some kids dinner. My 3 kiddos, 4yr and 2yr old twin boys, all go to Sproutlets and it has been such an amazing experience for us. We first started talking our oldest over a year ago and shortly added the twins once we saw how great it was. Our son has a mild speech delay but Ms. Nana and the teachers take the time to work with him and he has made such major improvements. Our twins just turned 2 and she is already helping us getting them started potty training. The boys run in to for hugs each morning and barely have time to say bye. I have had two children attend Spoutlets Childcare. They have both thrived here and always loved attending. My youngest is currently attending and looks forward to his school days! I have a 9 months old daughter that attends Sproutletts and by far this is the best daycare in the Chino Hills area. Since she has been going to Sproutletts, my daughter has been happier! There are a lot of love and care and they actually do care about the well being of your child! My child is 2 years old now and has been attending Sproutlets since she was 17 months old. As any parent I was nervous about my child feeling uncomfortable in a different environment. I spoke to Miss Nafisa and she was very understanding and accommodating to my needs and my child's needs. I loved the fact that she cooked home made meals for the children since my child loves to eat. However, ultimately I knew I made the right decision because the teachers, their whole family really love the children. My son has been going to Sproutletts since last year and we've never faced any problems. What I like is that the care taker is diligent and responsive to our needs. There are lot of social activities that my kid gets engaged when he is there. They take good care and let me know of progress of my son on how he's developing new skills. I enrolled my 2 year old son here almost 2 years ago and I have to say, Ms. Nana and Ms. Rihanna are two of the most wholesome, sweet, genuinely good people out there. There aren't many out there that I'd trust with my little ones these days so it's such a relief to know and trust these amazing ladies. My children came here while I was attending Chaffey college and they loved it, I always felt my babies were save and I always knew they were having fun when I was in class. I planned to have them return in the near future and Im more then willing to go out of my way to make sure my babies will be properly cared for. I have been sending my daughter to Sproutlets for 2 years. We love the owner Nafisa. She is so kind hearted and would do anything for her students. There's 2 teachers and never more than 14 kids. Miss Rihanna and Miss Nafisa are excellent with the children. They all go the extra mile and have really good patience for all of kids needs. They have fun themed activities which keep the kids always engaged. You can see the care they have for the children. The curriculum is preschool level. And they even help with potty training. They do fun activities that go far above any school I've ever seen. read more

I worked here and it was not a plesant experience. I was unfairly treated and it was uncomfortable. My son was even made to feel uncomfortable. At first it seemed to be a great opportunity. I was paid 15 an hour under the table and I was told I could bring my son whenever I needed and it would be no problem. On the first day I was there I was left alone with the children while Nafisa went to pick up her kids from school and I knew no parents or where anything was located including first aid kit. She would send her daughter to tell me what to do which I thought was unprofessional. She would take naps while I was left alone with all the children, and we had 10-12 kids. She was napping while I was helping them wake up, go potty and get snack. Even one of the childen noticed I needed assistance. She and her daughter would talk in Arabic around me and the children all the time and one morning I could tell they were talking about me because she was upset because I brought my son even though the day she hired me she said I could bring him whenever and it was no problem. She expected me to work off the clock. I would be off the clock waiting for my husband to pick me up and she would still ask me to help kids, greet parents and one day even left me at the house alone to go pick up her daughters friend. There was no AC unit in the room where the children spent most of their time. The parts of the house that were visible to parents were clean but the rest of the house was pretty messy. Nafisa would leave the children unattended and also had me change them into their swim diapers and bathing suits in the front yard. I treid to leave on a good note and offered to finsh that week and the next but she did not take my offer and told me she would send my paycheck in the mail and it has been a week and a half and I still have not recieved check. The last time I reached out to her about it she blocked me. At this time this is our only source of income and we had to go to food bank to feed my son. Be cautious and dont let her "kindness" fool you. She offeres to pay under the table so I think she can get away with these bahaviors. read more

Don't trust these reviews! My wife and I took a tour of this place , let me start by saying this place is filthy! super sketch to say the least. The home has an odor as if it hasn't been cleaned in months. So the day we came in there were 12 children, all ages and only 1 , yes 1 teacher !!!!! That in itself is a hazard, she looked overwhelmed and there's no way that 1 teacher would be able to adequately supervise and tend to those children's needs. They had a very few toys and the ones they did have looked old and outdated including a bunch of sun damaged ones out front. The day we took the tour there was an estranged man there, whom Ms. Nana stated was her "husband" something seemed off about that, for starters he looked like a creep and didn't speak any English and the thought of leaving my child in this environment made me super uncomfortable being that throughout the "tour" he spoke back and forth with Ms Nana in they're native langue ( I'm guessing Arabic). Why, speak in a language that your guests can't understand? That's just rude! If I felt out of place , imagine my child? I could go on and on but the facts stated above made my cut the tour short, my wife and I both gave each other "the look" as to flee as soon as we stepped out we just couldn't believe how unpleasant and unprofessional this place was. Steer clear of this place if you don't want the safety and overall well-being of your child(ren) jeopardized. ALSO, because I had a hunch I did some further research because that's how terrible our tour was and found through licensing (public) records , she has been fined multiple times for various things just in this year alone! How can a place like this still be open for business !!!! Makes me question childcare business' as a whole !! Sproutlets & Miss Nafisa are the hidden gem of child care in Chino Hills. It's not a daycare; it's a family. Our daughter has been going since she was 2 (she's almost 4) and we cannot wait to put our son in! I can't say enough about what a wonderful daycare/preschool Sproutlets is. My 2 year old son has been going for almost a year and he loves it. He is always talking about his friends, the wonderful teachers, and activities he does. People have been amazed by how early he knew his colors, ABC's, and numbers. They make everyday fun with different creative activities. He's made cookies, pizza, and has grown vegetables. For me the most important thing is that he is in a loving environment. I'm surprised there's not more than 1 review for this place -- it really is an awesome home-based childcare facility. I took my 1.5 year old daughter here for a couple days a week -- started out as an alternate for my usual daycare whose owner took some days off during some of my busiest days. Anyway, my daughter always came home with an art project she worked on (they seem to have lots of learning and enrichment activities and not just playtime/naptime), she was always happy, and the director/owner always had such kind words about her when I would speak to her. It was a very positive environment, I wish I discovered them way before we had to move from Chino Hills. Sproutlets has the most loving daycare environment I've ever been in. The owner, Ms.Nafisia, is a loving mother, warm Grandma and a crafty teacher all in one. The children eagerly cuddle up to her and she tirelessly loves them all back. Her daycare is a real home away from home. She has a well organized education program too, teaching all the basic preschool academics with tons of hands-on games, crafts, songs and manipulatives, as well as tutoring help for school age kids. Ms Nana is beyond amazing in taking care of the children at Sproutlets Childcare. My two children, ages 2 and 4, go there full time. My oldest started when he was 18 months old. In the beginning he was shy and quiet but with Ms Nana's encouragement he is now a confident boy who participates a lot in the activities. And there are so many activities! Circle time, arts and crafts, music, epic water days, and field trips to the park and even the museum! Ms Nana also takes a lot of effort to teach the children - ABCs, numbers, weather, and always through fun activities and stories. My oldest can read and the two year old can count by 10's. My oldest child also was in and out of the hospital this year and when Ms Nana heard he was not eating well, she made him his favorite meals. Her cooking is so delicious and nutritious! Loving and caring are the words I would have to use to start. We started taking our daughter Micah at 18 months and from the start NaNa made it so comfortable. We felt like she truly loved and cared for our daughter. Micah would ask to go there. It's been a great learning environment and our daughter came home singing the abc song before age 2. We are moving and so sad that we can't take sproutlets with us. We had such peace of mind having our daughter there. I am beyond thankful for finding Sproutlets. The staff is so kind! My son has been going there since he was about 14 months and loves it. I have known Ms Nafisa for about four years, since my 2 y/o son first enrolled. My son ended up having to go to a special needs pre-school but when I had my daughter in 2016, I immediately knew that I wanted her to go to Ms Nafisa's daycare. She has been going for about 1.5 years now, 1 year full-time. Ms Nafisa is absolutely passionate about children and assists with potty training, provides hands-on activities, crafts, and learning. She does hire help and those people also do a great job. I often get videos and photos of my daughter doing music activities, food exploration crafts and other group activities. A lot of crafts get sent home with her, too. I also really appreciate that Ms Nana is so committed to feeding the kids healthfully. I'll never forget when I drove up one time and saw all the kids eating Persian cucumbers and carrots in the front yard! I was amazed. I am always observing my daughter to see how she feels and I have to say, she is always happy to get dropped off and happy when I pick her up. Hi there my son James has been going to Sproutlets since he was three. He is now four. I had him at tutor time before and he was not happy. James would cry everyday when I drop him off. So, I found Sproutlets and brought James on the tour. He never had any second thoughts or cried. James went right in and started playing like it was home. The director is very good and very attentive towards the kids. The teachers help James in many ways as far as potty training, education, and they always keep me up to date on his learning. Also, they give you activities that you can do at home with the kids. Very happy here and couldn't have asked for more of a loving environment that provides education. read more

Never Ever Take Your child to Sproutlets AKA Chatila Family child Care! I have never experienced such an erratic, unprofessional and unreliable childcare provider. Please be careful about sending your child to this childcare home. We took our precious daughter then 12 months old to Ms. Nafisa and in the beginning all was well. The staff was warm and friendly. My daughter seemed to thrive. About 3-4 weeks ago she began to act erratic and dismissed staff and children suddenly. She was hardly ever present leaving her assistants unsupervised all day long for multiple days on end. In fact, she dismissed my 8-month old nephew with only 1-day notice. The straw that broke the camels back was when she abruptly told my daughters early intervention providers (physical therapist and speech therapist) that they could no longer provide a 1 x per week 1-hour therapy session at the childcare with out informing me. I called and attempted to see her on several occasions. She only responded to me when I refused to pay 2 weeks in advance as I typically did. I paid one week and told her staff to have her call me. When she called me she promptly said she would not even discuss therapy unless I paid for in advance for next weeks services. I let her know that the childcare may not be a good fit for us if my daughter can no longer have essential early intervention services where is for more than 8 hours per day. She began screaming at me at the top of her lungs" Pay me now or come and get your daughter right now and all of her things". Of course I began to panic and told her we were on our way to get my daughter. When I arrived she denied my self and my husband entrance into the house. When asked where my daughter was she began screaming again for me to pay for next week and then I would get my daughter. I pushed passed her into the back room where she again tried to prevent me from getting my daughter. That's when I noticed, my daughter had been completely stripped down. She had hidden all of her personal belongings in bag (including socks, shoes, coat etc...) and refused to give me her items. She shouted and acted crazy and frightened my daughter and the children so I had my husband take my daughter to the car. She continued screaming and berating me as parents picked up their children. She then told me to pay her or leave her facility. When I refused she grabbed my arm multiple times to try to force me out. I then sat on the couch as she called the cops on me! I heard dispatch explain to her that she had no right to hold m daughter things. The total process of picking up my daughter took 2 hours! When the sheriff arrived he again informed her she could not hold my daughter's things. She refused to comply with him screaming and crying about next weeks pay (for a service she would not be providing). We finally left shaken and sad about the entire ordeal (but with my daughter's belongings). This was child abuse and neglect and abuse! If she did all of these things in front of us. Imagine how she behaves behind closed doors. Why she didn't want any licensed professionals in her facility is certainly questionable as well. She humiliated my daughter. She's unprofessional and I would not recommend her to a soul! Dear friends do your self a favor she seems sweet but she is not well! I never right YELP reviews but she is unstable! I enrolled my 3 year old here a little over 2 months ago after questioning some things with the local Montessori school. I was beyond impressed when I did the tour and that feeling has never wavered. The school is clean and has a curriculum far superior than what he's ever done previously. Miss Nana creatively ties all the learning to games and activities. You know all those Pinterest posts you save but wouldn't dare attempt? She's got those beat. The children assist is preparing meals (my son loves "cutting" his food when we go out to eat) which not only teaches motor skills but allows him to explore new food and provides a sense of accomplishment. They have a music teacher that drops in once or twice weekly so the kids get to sing, dance and explore the arts! I catch my son singing to himself while he plays now. Bonus: we receive regular pictures/texts so it's always a wonderful surprise to see him cooking, dancing or just being silly with his friends. Above all, my son is loved and treated with respect. They are all warm and welcoming and it is evident they have a genuine passion for what they do. Nothing but positive things to say! So glad I found this hidden gem! read more
