The wife and l enjoyed the massages. The couples bath, not so much. Small tub. No jets. Not big enough for two. In fairness, I told the staff we had get out after a couple of minutes of a half hour soak and they took it off the bill. I love this place! I have been several times. I'm a teacher and sometimes I just have to have a spa day. I usually get a massage but I have also had a manicure and facial before. I usually arrive early to use the sauna. The staff is friendly and helpful. The space is calming and quiet. I get a combination massage- Swedish and Deep Tissue. Kristie is my favorite massage therapist and I try to request her when she is available. I tend to have tension in my upper back and neck. I also like a more intense pressure when it comes to massages. She does a great job using enough pressure and listening to what I want from the experience. She also doesn't talk much throughout which I enjoy because I just want to focus on relaxing. I tried to convince my husband that going to the spa is my hobby. He says spa-ing isn't a hobby. Oh my gosh! I've had 100's of massages in my life, and I have to say Gina is one of the best if not the best masseuse I've ever had! If I lived here I would be booking a standing appointment until the end of time. If your reference is deep tissue massage, Gina is your girl. I HIGHLY recommend her! The spa was & atmosphere were wonderful, and in my opinion, up to big city standards. My only recommendation would be to have envelopes that you could leave a tip in for the person who just performed the services. You'd write their name on the outside along with saying who it is from ( i.e., To:, From:, and Date), and seal it. At the end of their day, those envelopes are given to the appropriate person. Disappointing I had an appointment for a 90 minute deep tissue massage but what I got was a 45 minute Swedish massage decelerated to take 90 minutes. Not at all what I wanted, nor needed. No part of my body had any extensive or focused work, just slowwwwww oiled stroking. If that is deep tissue, what is Swedish like? Reiki? No showers and the One Restroom which doubles as a changing room is within the un-gendered and open locker room. And warning- ear ouchies: when the light is turned on in the bathroom -so is a Very Loud Fan, like Very Loud, and it can't be turned off without tuning off the light --stressing!! The spa itself is otherwise pleasant. The staff is helpful and they offer you wine, lemon water or coffee upon arrival. You may also linger as long as you want or use their itty sauna. read more

Bloom Day Spa has been great for my life. As a small business owner I need to relax after a stressful week. They have helped me do that so well I go in for a massage every two weeks. The staff members are so friendly, I call them friends now as we have gotten to know each other. I send my wife here for manicure, pedicure, and a prenatal massage as well and she loves it. The decor is calming and the music relaxing. The staff even puts an extra large robe out for me as I am a larger man. I love going here! For a small town spa, it has a big city elegance and class about it and the services are top notch. I travel all over and end up waiting to come back here every time. The wine flows freely(if you want it) and the people are very down to earth. Nothing feels clinical. I get deep tissue massages(Christie) here and it's amazing! I had the absolute best experience at Bloom Day Spa today. I was greeted by the friendly staff. While I was filling out some paperwork, the owner brought me a glass of wine and gave me a tour of the locker room, sauna, and relaxation room. You're given a robe and sandals to relax in before your massage. My massage therapist Melissa was delightful and was able to pinpoint the tense points of my nervous system. I've had massages many times and this experience at Bloom was the best I've had. I highly recommend this for anyone in the Dickson area or if you're in Nashville and need a quick getaway from the city! read more

I had a full body 60 minute massage with kyle (i think) and it was AWESOME!! When i got there, they offered me some wine (very yummy) and then showed me around and i got in the sauna and relaxed in the relaxing room until it was time for my massage. it was a very relaxing and awesome experience my first time ever getting a massage!! i will be back. read more

Living in Scottsdale, Arizona, I'm used to high-end spas and go frequently...Bloom was the best day spa I've ever experienced! My boyfriend and I arrived and were greeted with a glass of wine to relax. We eased our muscles in the sauna and then enjoyed another glass of wine in the relaxation room. We had a couples massage and it was probably the most relaxed I've ever been! My boyfriend said the same. It was calmed and all of the tension just melted away. Not too hard and not too soft. The massage therapist had very rhythmical strokes which almost put me to sleep twice! We then had a couples soak which further relaxed us, which I didn't think was possible! I am not one to normally leave bad reviews on customer service but I felt the need to share this one. I have been in customer service since I was 15 years old so I understand things happen but not fixing the situation is not okay. I booked a facial and a massage for today. Bloom Day Spa called me last night as they were closing saying that "their system had glitched" and only had me in their books for a facial. I called them back and left a message. They returned my call this morning letting me know that I would only have a facial and no massage because their system had glitches and basically my massage was given away. Even though they knew last night I had multiple services, they still wouldn't honor what I had been scheduled for today. They offered me to reschedule for a different day even though this was the only time I could do it for the next couple months because of life but couldn't fix the problem today. I won't be returning anymore. Hope you all have a better experience than I did. read more

I visited Bloom Day Spa because my husband purchased me a gift card here for Christmas. I typically do not treat myself to a spa day unless I'm traveling out of town (ironic), but I will be going back to this place in the future. The massages were personalized and very attentive. The atmosphere is phenomenal and you are able to relax in the sauna or the guest lounge for as long as you want. You can even take a nap in your robe in the guest lounge on their multiple comfortable couches. I also did what they call a "soak" in their 75 gallon tub with essential oils and it was mesmerizing. I plan to take my husband here for his birthday a few months from now for the couples soak and couples massage package. I highly recommend coming here and calling ahead to make an appointment so you make sure you get your slot. :) The staff is extremely helpful - especially the man who typically answers the phone with the deeper voice and his name I have forgotten. He tells you "you can do everything here you can do in a big city spa" and he's right. :) read more

Had the best massage yesterday ever! Elizabeth is by far the best that has ever given me a massage. The entire experience at the Spa was above and beyond what I expected. Hailey and Steve both greeted me when I came in with smiles and a welcoming attitude. The ambiance was very relaxing and soothing. I really liked the relaxation room which gives you a few minutes to wind down before your massages as well as after. I appreciate the lockers for my clothes and the fact that I didn't have to undress in the massage room. Robes and slippers were provided which helped make the experience even better. I enjoyed it so much I booked another one in four weeks. Hope to make it a monthly event. So glad that Bloom Day Spa chose Dickson in which to open and in the downtown area as well.
