I've had genetic testing to help determine which meds would help me best, TMS therapy (which didn't help me much, but I'm glad we tried), and now weekly Spravato treatments, which have been a lifesaver, literally! All of the staff are excellent! Very empathetic, easy to contact via phone/text. I'm able to make same day appts very easily if needed. The psychiatrists I have seen have been extremely helpful! I am allowed to assist in my treatment, not just have medications thrown at me to cover symptoms. I have been dealing with depression/anxiety for over 25 years, have been treated by MULTIPLE providers. LTAW has offered the most pleasant, educational and effective treatment in all of those years. Very thankful to have found this clinic!

They over charged me for my TMS therapy a year ago and still owe me $384. My husband has lost his job. This money would at least get us a load of groceries. I literally call everyday. This is absolutely unacceptable. They would be sending me to collections if I owed them $300. I am here for my mental health not to be completely ignored. I guess my next step will be a horrible Google review. Update *I got a call from a receptionist, that couldn't help me, but the manager was supposed to call me at 1. Big surprise. No call. I am SO frustrated.

I was also talked to in a very disrespectful manner at times, he was also dismissive as he would fall asleep in the middle of our discussions, he would also get very impatient when he was trying to prompt to say certain traumas but I was finding the words are to create and he snapped at me to "just spit it out." The billing was also a challenge and he also diagnosed me with bipolar depression to which this was a new diagnosis and I have yet to have it confirmed since as I am with a new doctor. I definitely believe whole-heartedly that it is his time to retire and that it is really sad that a doctor, a psych doctor at that could be this way.

I had edema in both feet and he told me I needed to be rushed to the hospital because it would be fatal if I didn't go - no tests or bloodwork done, just basing it off of a pulmonary embolism I had few months prior even tho I am on blood thinners. He was very condescending, no bedside manner, could NOT be bothered by anything I said when I told him these were not the symptoms I had. I frantically went to the ER and there was nothing wrong with my heart, lungs or brain and I now have an ER bill because this man couldn't be bothered to examine me and listen to me.

Without getting into sensitive details, I strongly advise you to stay away from her, if you really need help. Misdiagnosis, complete ignorance to your symptoms and state of mind, wrong prescriptions and emotional distress is what you get from her. She seemed distracted, disinterested, did not communicate with the patient, within 5 min of initial visit prescribed Lexapro to confirm bipolar disorder, without any blood work or other tests. Charged $250 for 10 min visit. Whether because of her retirement age or medication, she did not appear to be in control of her faculties. Instead of helping, brought extreme emotional distress to the patient. A complaint has been filed with the Florida Board.

I…read morespent almost three months requesting a specific medication that I know I don't feel any side effects with, only to be told that I had to try five other brands first before they could prescribe anything "fast‑acting." I found out today from my insurance provider that this wasn't true at all and it could be authorized without preauthorization use of trying other brands first and that my VA doctors had no issues prescribing that. I Never had to go through the trials and tribulations of slow acting drugs that gave me terrible withdraws. Whether its because this is a major big brand practice and has deals with certain big pharmaceutical companies to prescribe specific medications or for other reasons of the doctors being specific on what they have to recommend, the experience was expensive, frustrating, extremely misleading and unhealthy for the withdraws to not lead anywhere. highly do Not recommended and would conduct further research and choosing any other providers in the area besides them.

The approach felt overly aggressive rather than careful. I experienced significant sedation and had a fall during the night. When I contacted the doctor afterward because I felt worse, I was told that my "body is sensitive," which felt more like an excuse than a thoughtful explanation. I was ultimately advised to slow everything down, which is what I had suggested from the beginning. Psychiatry should not be a one-size-fits-all practice. Clear communication, careful pacing, and individualized care are essential, and that was missing here.
