Pricey, but delicious ! They have so many different bagels and schmears to try out. I will definitely have to make another trip to try some different flavors !

Just a block removed from the courthouse square, I found this coffee/bagel shop after street parking nearby (metered). I had been exploring the area west of the square on a chilly day and a cup of coffee seemed like a good plan. Yelp directed me to this nearby location. Located on the corner, there is a small seating area by the entrance and then a counter area along the south wall. There I found a selection of baked goods and coffees ready to go. I picked a blueberry scone with large sugar crystals (turbinado?) and a small cup of Hazelnut coffee to go. The staff were very helpful in showing me where to find the lids and other items (I didn't need the cream/sugar). Both the coffee and scone were really good. The coffee was right on the edge of being too hot, but I was able to drink it promptly without feeling the burn, so that's a plus! Service was prompt and I was soon on my way. Review #3415

    Bacon egg and cheese

Bloomington Bagel, you are what dreams are made of. One very serious complaint in Cincy - WE DON'T HAVE ANY HOME GROWN BAGEL SHOPS! (ok, one Marx). This is a crime against humanity. Bloomington Bagel is legit. These bagels are boiled, dense, and chewy just the way I like them! We opted for a bacon egg and cheese on an Asiago bagel. The bagel itself was CLUTCH. Great texture and cheese was an awesome addition. The egg left little to be desired -1. We also got an everything bagel and they let us pick two cream cheese flavors which was SO nice! We got the chive on one half and the garlic and herb on the other. Again - bagel was insanity. So, so good. The chive was not the best I've ever had, but the garlic and herb on the other hand was KILLER. It also had something spicy in it (I happen to love spicy) but I was surprised for people who don't that it wasn't listed as spicy. I will be dreaming of this spread. I really preferred the bagel + cream cheese over the sammie just because it really let the bagel be the star of the show. However they do have some other really creative sammie options if that's your thing. On one hand I wish this place was down the street from me, and on the other - I'm glad it's not because I would be here every. single. day. Pro tip: Check out the tables they had made from the curated pictures of fans around the world holding bagels: in the desert, underwater, during their children's BIRTH! It's pretty awesome to see a community rallying around a local biz like this and it was really heartfelt to see. You do you Bloomington Bagel!

Coffee was good. Bagel was slightly burnt and cold. Nice little shop. Friendly employees.

Not the best bagel place but OK for hangovers. Very heavy, lots of cream cheese, and good coffee. Kinda overpriced!

If Yelp allowed zero stars, that would be my rating…read more My wife and I took our two daughters to Inkwell for breakfast around 9:00 a.m. on a Sunday. It was busy. That's fine. It's Sunday morning in downtown Bloomington. Busy happens. What followed was not "busy." It was astonishingly poor service and even worse problem-solving. My wife and daughters ordered, and then we waited. After AN HOUR, my wife went inside to ask what was happening. She was told, "Sorry, the IU basketball team is here. Let me see what happened." Apparently the arrival of the IU basketball team creates some kind of breakfast singularity in which ordinary customers cease to exist. The employee said they would check. They never came back. Another 45 minutes passed. So after ONE HOUR AND FORTY-FIVE MINUTES, my wife and daughter -- both of whom had been loyal Inkwell customers -- were left feeling like they simply did not matter because more important people had walked through the door. That is what makes this experience so disappointing. Restaurants get busy. Orders get lost. Mistakes happen. But when you discover that a family has been waiting an hour, tell them you will investigate, disappear for another 45 minutes, and then offer essentially no apology, urgency, ownership, or attempt to make things right, that is not a kitchen problem. That is a customer-service problem. Eventually they agreed to refund us. So the single star is awarded because Inkwell did, in fact, return our money after failing to provide breakfast and did not lock the doors to prevent our escape. Cherish it.

First time at this Crumble Coffee, but I love the other two. Same good experience here…read more I got a tomato red pepper danish, a piece of blueberry almond cake, and a summer garden tea (seasonal green tea with fruit syrup) The danish was actually my second choice after I found out they were out of the galette I wanted, but I actually liked the danish a lot and was glad it was what I ended up with. The pastry was great, with nice layers but not overly flaky for my taste like a lot of danishes; it had a nice tenderness to it. The filling was delicious, like a cheesy roasted red pepper dip baked into a danish. The cake was also great, not too sweet and very aesthetically pleasing too. The tea was really nice, with the fruit flavors balanced with the green tea. The shop is very cute and felt welcoming. There's a lot of outdoor seating. They have some local art prints for sale and there's even a printer for customer use. The baristas were friendly.

I ordered the cookie with the apples and crumbles on it. I assume the apple strudel cookie. It's very good. I also ordered milk. It's really a unusual Customerservice experience as the employees aren't that friendly and don't seem very hospitable and welcoming.
