I don't know if I can put into words how appreciative I am of her work and her friendship. I am pretty laid-back about everything, wedding planning included, and this could have made Kayla's job incredibly tough... given the fact that I didn't give her much direction. Kayla took the few ideas that I tossed her way and turned them in to an absolute dream- it was like I handed her a seed, and she turned it in to the most beautiful garden I'd ever seen. There was not a moment during the planning process OR our wedding day that I worried about a single detail; I knew that if I was thinking of something, Kayla had already thought of it and it was already taken care of. Aside from Kayla's work ethic and obvious skill, she is the sweetest, most genuine soul on the planet. From the beginning, her attitude was condescending and dismissive, making what should have been an exciting process stressful and frustrating. She was juggling multiple jobs and even accepted another wedding on the same day as ours. Because of that, we did not receive the level of attention, support, or coordination we were promised and paid for. Several members of our bridal party were brought to tears by how she spoke to them. During the event, guests asked her for help finding their seats, and she replied that she "wasn't part of that process." Whether she was or not, I hired and paid for day-of coordination, which absolutely includes assisting guests and ensuring things run smoothly. Her lack of professionalism and care were evident throughout the entire experience. A planner's job is to reduce stress -- she did the opposite. Please think carefully before hiring this company. I wouldn't want another couple to go through what we did.
