I tried ordering an arrangement on-line. The Blooms link puts you in touch with FTD. Though I checked the date, zip code and pricing on the Blooms website before I called, FTD does not have the same info. The price was higher and the date was not available. So - I didn't even get a chance to place my order. The reviews were so good I wanted to use this florist. Perhaps it is better when you can go in-person. Martha was absolutely incredible to work with! From our first meeting, I knew she was the right fit for what we were looking for..... She had a genuine passion for what she did, her arrangements were gorgeous, her vision was superb, she was creative, friendly, welcoming and overall excited to work with us! She takes the time to listen to the overall idea of your wedding day, and makes insightful recommendations as to what might be a good fit. We loved this guidance and welcomed her expertise! She was also very responsive over communication and open about the pricing options. When I described what we were looking for, I only got more excited as she was telling me what flowers would accent my dress and overall look of the day. I had trouble figuring out the best way to decorate the arbor, as I did not want to fight the natural beauty of Monte Verde Inn, but enhance it with our own personal touches. And Martha definitely came to the rescue! She allowed time to discuss different ideas, and in our final meeting, she had the grandest idea of all..... A floral chandelier with draping crystals! As I picked my mouth up off the ground with amazement... She informed me that she had been inspired by a recent class she attended (which I loved because it showed she was always striving to learn the newest techniques to deliver the best product to her clients). I was beyond myself and knew that would be PERFECT! She was confident that it would come out to the way she envisioned, and we were set to go. When I arrived to Monte Verde Inn on the wedding day, I could not have been more impressed! I saw the chandelier coming into fruition and Martha running towards me as she was so excited! We shared in the joy, and I loved that she was enjoying the process just as much as I was. Then to see the floral décor, lining the aisle, and all the elements together..... It was just a vision beyond a dream! From there, I walked into the bridal suite and saw my bouquet, with my bridesmaids' bouquets. They were GORGEOUS!!!!! I was sooooo happy! To see how she wrapped the stems, was just beyond perfection and the overall look was beyond anything I could have thought of. Saying I was happy, is an understatement! I love looking back at our pictures and just enjoying the floral elements she helped make come to life. We are so glad we chose to work with Martha! Martha is beyond professional, caring and passionate. I enjoyed my time with her, as she truly took personal time to get to know my husband and I. If you want the best, you work with the best..... Martha absolutely blew away our expectations. While in the planning process, she listened to what I had in mind and made my vision a reality. I was worried when I found out it was going to rain the day of my wedding, since the plan was to get married under the trees at Monte Verde. Thankfully, they gave us the option to have the ceremony and reception in the ballroom. After saying "I Do" and getting to take a good look at the room around us, my heart skipped a beat. Martha had gone all out on making the ballroom a magical space found in a fairy tale: candles, flowers, greenery, all intertwined in a perfect balance. I can't thank Martha enough for moving the forest inside and bringing with it both an elegance and warmth. She gave me everything I had asked for and more.
