Ordered flowers for a funeral service. $100 looked like I spent $11.99 in the grocery store. They looked old and tired. I was embarrassed.

This single star rating is specific to the store's prepared food area on September 12, 2019…read more I've eaten in many brands of grocery stores around the country There is absolutely no signage as to how much most things cost. Many things are mislabeled like calling fried fish,... meat loaf. I made a plate of fried fish, broccoli and mashed potatoes having no idea how much $ the plate would cost. In looking where to pay, again no signage. Is it my weight or item count?? Also no drinks in sight. Yet they have a nice area to eat. Finally I find someone to ask Where do I pay? She says at the main registers up front. I am not walking up to registers to wait in line to walk back to the in store dining area. So, I sat at dining area and ate my lunch. I'll figure it out on my way out of the store. Damn, Pick n Save,.. make it easy for people to spend their money!!

$5. Boss. Sandwich…read more If it wouldn't look weird, I'd just end the review there. I do want to talk about the store itself, as well though. I've been to the breezy north several times and it has yet to disappoint. It's good prices, great atmosphere, and ultra convenient location. The majority of my visits have been right before or after heading into the great maze known as Maxwell Street Days. I tend to get the Boss sandwich (I mean a 1+ foot long giant sub for $5...can't be beat), and I always love it. I also know the locals love it, I've got some peoples in the area, so I have that inside scoop. If you're driving through, fresh food in the deli is a better option than the McD's next door, and if you're just out to pick up your groceries, this is the place to go.

I would go to another place for top soil... now the reason why I gave them a 2 was that I did speak to the manager and she gave me a half off discount on my next yard... but that soil was the same as the original... I know they were short on soil but then charge less and do not say it's pulverized.... thats shameful. !!!

Horrible experience with Breezy Hill. Had a landscaping project done last year by a professional…read morecontractor. Chose Breezy Hill for the perennials due to proximity to my home in Salem Lakes. Spent over $1,000 on a variety of rose bushes, shrubs, etc. Landscapers planted them, installed the weed barrier, and landscaping stones as is customary last July. Everything looked great and I was a happy camper for a few months. 2026 rolls around, and nearly half the perennials that we purchased were completely dead. They did not survive the winter. I took pictures, emailed Pam at Breezy Hill to see what they could do. Here is her response: Hi Mike, Thanks for sending these pictures. As you know we do not warranty cash & carry items and actually never warranted Perennials at all. We are confident they are healthy when they leave our care since we are all gardeners here, but overwintering is our biggest challenge with our very volatile and extreme temperature fluctuations. The way to ensure best results for this is to remove all stone from their vicinity and mulch instead, which moderates and insulates temperature and moisture for our plants, much as would occur in nature with plant debris forming the mulch layer. Stone does the opposite of this causing even worse fluctuations while also cutting off oxygen and sometimes water to the roots. If there is landscape fabric under the stone that should also be removed since that makes even worse conditions for the plants, e.g. no oxygen or water to the roots, sours and compacts the soil. I'm here to help with more suggestions any time today, July 4 until 7:00, July 5 10-4:00, July 6 after about 2:00-7, July 7 9-6. Thanks, Pam No offer to refund or replace even a portion of the plants, no offer to sell replacements at her cost or at a discount, NOTHING. Needless to say, I won't ever be going back, and I live just around the corner. Do not recommend.
