Service-communication: very good. My main contact was James. Took a lot of time with us. We were going from scratch, so it took a while for us to figure out what we wanted. Plus, had to get HOA approval for a pergola - never fun, but finally got through that. Second contact was Ali toward the end with the irrigation and plants. Easy to deal with. Once the contract was signed, they indicated 2-3 weeks to begin, and that was accurate. Supply delivery began about five days prior to commencing work. The initial crew wasted no time getting to work. They kept the premises clean. Everyone professional. Quality: All I can say, is so far so good! Nice paver work, Pergola looks great. Electrical all appears properly done. Turf looks great. We are very happy with the results. Everyone cleaned up after themselves. Delays: none of any consequence. He got here at 10:45 and in 5 min gave me an excellent quote and said 2 guys would do the job in 2.5 hrs. We set a date 4 days later at 8 am. The two guys arrived at 7:50 am. We went to the tree and discussed what I wanted done. I offered to help but they said they had it handled and they would come get me when done. They came to my front door when done and took me around back to check it out and make sure I was pleased. They were polite and professional. They had all the proper tools needed to do the job. They hauled away all the trimmings. They not only raked the gravel but blew off that entire side of the yard. They also managed the entire job without damaging any of the 5 large prickly pear cactus, 2 birds of paradise, and 1 mini palm tree that are all within 1-5 feet from this tree. This is not professional landscaping - it's careless and shows a lack of basic pruning knowledge. When I contacted the owner about it, my concerns were dismissed and he hung up on me. What stood out the most throughout the project was Nick's attention to detail and the continued pride he takes in his work after more than 20 years of experience. At one point, the pavers that were delivered didn't meet his standards, so he had the entire shipment returned rather than installing subpar materials. That told me a lot about the kind of company he runs. The quality of the finished product speaks for itself. The pavers have clean, straight lines, our garden area was laid out perfectly, and the artificial turf looks great (our dogs have already put it to the test and it has held up wonderfully). Nick was easy to work with from beginning to end. He listened to what we wanted, was honest throughout the process, and also suggested improvements we hadn't thought about, including solving our drainage issues and running low-voltage wiring around the backyard so we'll be able to add landscape lighting later without tearing anything up. After HOA approval, they transformed my mainly gravel front yard into a beautiful park-like environment with turf, new plants, new lights, new irrigation, new pavers. It's beautiful and I couldn't be more pleased. Finally, I asked them to update my side yard. It was originally an ugly, unused gravel area with weeds. After collaborating with Nick, he came up with a beautiful design that once again transformed a small space.
