This home was our 3rd new build and they were THE BEST landscaping company that I've EVER done business with. The landscaping started on Monday, 8/19/2024 and was completed 5 days later on Friday, 8/23/2024. It was like an episode right out of the program from HGTV. Where do I begin... working with Las Perlas Landscaping was absolutely amazing! First, they do what they say they're going to do. They are a family business and take pride in doing a great job. Wuilber has an eye for what will look beautiful as well as functional. His wife, Perla, works closely with him. She truly listened to what we dreamed of. She was so helpful by suggesting different plantings as well as tiles, etc for the patio and outdoor kitchen. Las Perlas have contractors they work with and trust to provide services they don't, such as installing a pergola and our swimming pool. They looked out for us with these contractors to ensure the workmanship was up to their expectations and that we were happy. They also installed the sprinkler system. Most impressive was once the yard was complete and we had paid them, they didn't leave and forget about us. They stopped back numerous times to check that the plants are getting the proper amount of water and that everything was continuing to look good. If I could give zero stars I would! We had our inspector come and do our 1 year inspection on our new build. In our inspection report he pointed out our landscaping in our backyard and how it's not up to code. We asked them to come look at it and try to get things fixed. First of all trying to get ahold of them is a nightmare. Second of all they said there is nothing they can do to move the pavers so you can see 2in of the foundation and move the turf 4in so you can see the foundation. Okay fine I'm not going to argue with your son who is not the owner. Your husband should have shown up along with him to go over everything. Also the water pools under porch where the pavers sit so the drainage is not great. Once we were finally able to get them out here they wanted to give us a quote to get things fixed. We should not have to pay for your mistakes. And instead of making things right they've continued to ignore us. Definitely don't use Las Perlas Landscaping unless you want things to not be done right and then have to pay for their mistakes! read more

The man who came to give me a bid on a landscaping project made me very uncomfortable. He spent more time trying to upswell than he did measuring for the project I wanted. He stood too close. He put his hand on my shoulder and left it there until I ducked away. He commented that I looked "strong" while walking behind me. I was creeped out and felt very unsafe. I interviewed two other landscapers before I chose Wuilbur from Las perlas landscaping and I truly loved him and all his workers. He helped me design a built-in fire pit 8-foot rectangle and my BBQ Island Grill with a bar top and then they finished everything with travertine and gravel, when the gravel was laid I did not like it, it was all dusty and not good for my 3 Labs running around in it all the time, I wanted something different that would hold up with my dogs, I had picked another out and he had removed all the old and put in new gravel for me. I did not use Las Perlas because my experience at the estimate was troubling. I have a very small backyard and called around for an estimate. Their response time for viewing my yard was excellent. They were there the next day. What troubled me was they attempted to talk me into a design that I did not think was appropriate for the size of the yard. Whenever I asked a question about his recommendation, he simply said, "This is what you should do" and then explained his design. I told him it was for my grandson to play in the grassy area and for the dogs to be able to run around. He then explained why I should have more pavers to entertain family; ignoring my explanation about my grandson and the dogs. Also, after he decided on what HE wanted to do with my yard, he told me he could start tomorrow. I told him that he hadn't even given me a price yet and he became angry. He wanted to start without even telling me how much it would cost. At that point, I decided that the price did not matter, I knew I would not be working with someone who was so pushy and not transparent at all. The pictures show that they do really good work, but I'd rather work with someone who does good work, listens to the customers and is willing to give an estimate so I can compare quality and price. read more

Yelp is usually my go to place for reputable businesses, however, in this case I cannot say that I would ever recommend this company. Over a week ago I went to their website and did a request a quote for monthly yard service. Several days go by and no response was received. So, I called their main line and spoke with a female who answered the phone with "hello" and that was it. Wasn't even sure if it was a business at that point, however, she stated it was, but they have a separate cleaning crew that does the monthly yard services and needed some pictures to send to them to give me a quote. No problem, l sent everything over and got a response saying she will reach out and then I never heard back. Fast forward another several days and I called the same line again. Same thing, "hello" was the response. I asked if there was any response from the yard service company and she said she would have to reach out again and would let me know. It's been well over a week now and I'm tired of playing the waiting game. I have thousands of dollars in potential business and future business as I want to add turf and do other landscape projects, but unfortunately this business will not receive mine. If you claim to be a reputable company that offers services as requested, at least have the decency to respond to potential future clients. My advice is to take your business elsewhere. read more

We had a complete backyard landscaping with Pavers, borders, rock, sod, etc. Wilber came out and painted it on the ground. He did what WE wanted, and not what he thought would be best (we struggled with others on this issue). He took into consideration drainage. They installed a gas line for firepit and bbq. It is gorgeous, and the envy of the neighborhood. Wilbers family is very ethical and honest (and hard working). I recommend them with pride. You would be just as happy as we are. read more

Patio Bar with a built in grill and refrigerator, a raised gas fire pit, patio pavers throughout the yard a putting green, a walkway along with LED lighting, landscape shrubs, irrigation and electrical.
