Jake was easy to work with, easy to reach, and provided guidance along the way. When other companies were slow or difficult to reach with questions (e.g. paver sizes and pricing), Jake would have an answer in minutes. I am sure there are other great landscaping businesses out there, but the reviews were key for me - I had nothing else to go by, since we haven't used any landscaping services. Reviews were accurate. Service-communication: very good. My main contact was James. Took a lot of time with us. We were going from scratch, so it took a while for us to figure out what we wanted. Plus, had to get HOA approval for a pergola - never fun, but finally got through that. Second contact was Ali toward the end with the irrigation and plants. Easy to deal with. Once the contract was signed, they indicated 2-3 weeks to begin, and that was accurate. Supply delivery began about five days prior to commencing work. The initial crew wasted no time getting to work. They kept the premises clean. Everyone professional. Quality: All I can say, is so far so good! Nice paver work, Pergola looks great. Electrical all appears properly done. Turf looks great. We are very happy with the results. Everyone cleaned up after themselves. Delays: none of any consequence. Toward the end, had to wait for the pergola parts to arrive. About three weeks to complete entire job.

I requested a quote to replace dead grass with decorative rock in a small yard--about 750 sq ft (roughly 37 ft by 20 ft). His estimate came in at about $2,600. To understand the cost, I called local rock suppliers. Rock runs about $71 per ton, plus $75 delivery, and around a 10% fuel surcharge. For the 8-10 tons most companies quoted, that puts materials at roughly $900. Barrier/tarp material is around $100, so I estimated about $1,100 total for materials. Since he said the job would take about a day: removing the remaining grass, laying barrier, capping sprinklers, and spreading rock that means the remaining $1,500 of his quote would be labor. That number surprised me, because it made his total price about 65% higher than other quotes I received for the same amount of rock and the same scope of work. I will be going with another vendor because his price was over $1,000 more than the others. That said, he was polite and professional, and I can't comment on the quality of his work only the cost. I'm sharing this to help other customers make informed decisions. I recommend getting a few quotes for comparison. Hopefully this feedback also helps him stay competitive, because he seems like someone people would want to hire.

Him and his team were able to get us in next day and did the work quickly and left us with such a transformation! We needed a lot of big bushes cut back by quite a bit and had a Palo Verde Tree that we were unsure if we wanted cut down or just trimmed. He provided us quotes for every option and we ended up going with just having it trimmed. He asked us for feedback as he went to make sure i was left with something i was happy with. His prices were great for the work they do + the clean up and haul away. I was really impressed and will be giving their name out to everyone i know and next time we need some work done...i know who to call. I'm confident that whatever you need, they can do it. Having two large dogs, it was a waste having a yard as big as mine as it was made entirely of desert rock. The previous owner had it done this way for the purpose of keeping it cheap and keeping it low maintenance during the years he lived here. Over the last few years after I purchased it, I got 3 quotes from 3 different companies to do a section of turf. I never committed to a company to do it because I didn't feel confident they could deliver what I wanted. Fast forward to two weeks, I met with Sean from Turf Monsters. After hearing my vision for the yard, he was quick about getting me their quote on the same day. Not only that, but he had an extensive knowledge of the kinds of turf they had that would fit my yard best, the process of whole installation, how to maintain it, etc. It wasn't a hard choice; I chose them to do my turf project feeling confident they would handle the job well. And did they ever! At my request, they managed to get my installation scheduled earlier than originally planned. Materials were dropped off and installers showed up as scheduled on the day they began. Every single encounter during the installation was professional and friendly. It took less than the original two-day quote for the 25'x30' area, the three man installation team finishing in only one day. And it turned out better than I had imagined it to! The bright green turf looks stunning with the original rock landscape against it. And the dogs are beyond happy with it, running around and wrestling on it, but also relaxing on it too as it doesn't get super hot in the sun. I've received so many compliments on it from neighbors and friends that have seen it, saying it completely changed the entire backyard for the better. I highly recommend this team to execute your turf desires! A job well done!

I paid to have brand new turf installed because I was told my existing turf needed to be replaced due to visible seams. After the job was completed, the new turf still has seams, which defeats the entire reason I agreed to replace it in the first place. I also paid for a completely new irrigation system, but it appears that it was never actually replaced. Many of the sprinklers still have the same old sprinkler heads and tops, yet the company insists the system was replaced. The visible evidence suggests otherwise. Additionally, I paid for repairs to my fire pit, and within three days the structure was already cracked again. The professionalism on-site was also lacking. During the job, the crew took a break for about an hour sitting on our personal lawn chairs and didn't even bother to put them back, and they left trash and debris behind when they finished. What's most frustrating is that I've reached out multiple times to have these issues addressed, and each time I've been pushed aside, given excuses, or told things that simply aren't true. At this point I feel like I paid a significant amount of money for work that was not completed as promised and was poorly executed. Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience, and unfortunately I cannot recommend this company to others. Update. The owner has informed us that we will be receiving a refund that should have arrived today. If course it did not arrive, not is he answering any attempts to reconcile. This shows how crooked he is.

I hired All Terrain Landscaping to install brand new irrigation in my front and back yards and dump…read moresome rocks in a bare spot in 2016. By 2017, there were leaks. Subsequent years saw a few leaks every couple of months. I suppose I should have asked what type of poly tube they were using but figured for the price (over $3k), they'd be using something of quality. I was way wrong. I have had to engage Sprinkler Doctors for each leak (and it's not just one at a time, it's several at a time) after giving up doing it on my own. It just became a burden. Every instance of Sprinkler Doctors coming out to fix the leaks, the tech invariably asks, "who installed this?" and "this tubing is cheap." Most recently, I had a tech come out to address more leaks and he flat out told me that the tubing they used was garbage and the installers should have or would have known that. My entire system needs to be replaced because now, with each leak fixed, another leak pops up a little further down the line. So if you want to have fun repairing leaks a year after install, go with this company! If that doesn't sound like a grand time to you, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. TL/DR: irrigation tubing should last about 10-15 years after installation if it's buried. Mine hasn't even lasted eight. Leaks began occurring the year after installation.
