When we asked about it they said someone usually reaches out to go over billing ahead of time but they were on vacation and it's just a courtesy. They said "It is the patients responsibility to go over this with their insurance before they come to the appointment. " Not even a hint of care or concern about the negative impact this will have on our family. Terrible experience, worse after care, and makes me feel cheated and swindled. Boo this company and I would try any other practice before this one. Wish I could leave a zero star review.

Within the first week of therapy we noticed huge mental jumps and expressive/receptive speech improvement. She loves the staff and techs. I said something to Cara who was doing the tour and I asked her if there was an adult in the room with that child and she said "yeah they're monitored by cameras" okay, so no, there isn't an adult in there with the child.... They also told me they use drinking water as a healthy "reinforcer" for ABA therapy because they "noticed the autistic kids are very thirsty for water" uhhh so they withhold a basic need until the child performs well? Sounds abusive to me so I didn't sign my son up for their services. I got a bad feeling about how they run their programs. A couple years after that they were in the news with complaints from parents about abuse, not allowing parents to review the video evidence and then felony prison charges for the ABA director. I was not surprised by any of this after what I had witnessed with my own eyes and ears. After the child's death there recently in early 2025 I am hoping the owner steps down and maybe someone better can take over.

The punishment for staff call in's were to cut everyone's hours (EVEN THE PEOPLE THAT NEVER CALLED OFF!)The call ins were out of control. The management was composed of two unlicensed, young women who were not RN's or even CNA's. The company always hired incompetent staff, who often couldn't even count pills during narcotic count. (I'm not exaggerating.) They often left staff only half-way trained before throwing them on the floor often causing medication errors. (Speaking of which, they passed medication out of TOTE BAGS WITHOUT THEIR MARS PRESENT, and UNAWARE of the medication they were giving.) They were giving insulin injections the wrong way, and also giving blood-thinning injections improperly. When management was informed that the newly trained staff was not ready to work alone, management always ignored it and put them on the floor regardless. The staff would leave the resident's room a mess and often left patients in clothes for more than one day. They missed medication frequently, left medication in patients rooms, and were even given other patients medication! Residents were often scolded for pushing their emergency buttons, and even would leave them waiting because they were "just playing games." They were caught regularly sleeping on shift and spent the majority of the time fighting with each other instead of working together as a team. The pay is very low, and they have no benefits. The assistant manager tried to address these issues, but the main person in management ignored all of the issues and didn't take any warning. This company does not comply with state regulations, and will be kicked out of the facility (windemere park) that they are currently working in as of November 2013. DO NOT LET THEM IN YOUR HOMES. YOU NEVER KNOW WHO THEY WILL BE SENDING. THESE PEOPLE ARE OFTEN NOT CERTIFIED. THEY ARE PEOPLE OFF OF THE STREET WITH NO EXPERIENCE! None of this is being said to be spiteful, it's to prevent anyone from having to deal with the mistreatment that I put up with for so long!
