A large selection of decorative grasses was awaiting us as we went shopping to populate some new flower beds in the back yard. We chose something we thought would look good as they grow into maturity keeping in mind that the beds will probably look their best a couple of years from today. We also chose a couple of lower to the ground perennials that will provide some contrasting color. They have plenty to choose from and we couldn't help but gaze at the Japanese Maples that reminded us of our former home. We were searching for a decently priced nursery up north and we have finally found one! This nursery has an array of beautiful annuals, perineal, shrubs, pots and everything else garden related. Really beautiful nursery with an extensive selection of annuals and perennials. Everything was very neatly organized and I could tell very easily that the plants were really well cared for. Every plant in the whole nursery looked healthy and everything was something I would want in my garden. As a horticulturist and avid gardener, I've been to quite a few nurseries in the area. I am a new home owner and was so excited to have beautiful flower beds. I purchased 15 plants all at once , totaled to almost $400. I spoke with Rudy, the owner's son. He was very helpful. Two days later three of the same plants began to dry up. I celled a week later and spoke with Richard after the plants continue to dry up while I was caring for them. I explained what happened, I asked him if they exchange plants. He responded yes. I dug out the three plants and drove to the nursery. a woman who later I found out is the owner was there, I explained what happened and that I spoke with Richard. She disregarded me,didn't say a word to me. She made a call and said "Yeah I don't know what she wants." I waited , Rudy shows up at the window . I go up to him and and explained about the plants and that Richard said for me to bring them in. He then calls his mother over to us. She didn't ask me any questions she said the following remark in a rude way "We are a hard working family and I can't give you nothing free" Meanwhile not once did I ask for something free. I proceeded in a nice way to ask them for their advise as to how I can care for the dried plants and if they can be saved. The woman was rude, not helpful at all. I said to her I specifically came here because I had read good reviews, I spent almost $400 in plants, I didn't ask you to give me something free, we are also a hard working family . I am also an essential worker an RN during these difficult times." all she said was good luck. Never again will return here or advise anyone to go here. Very rude!I read more

When the weather is nice this place is packed. Blossom usually has some pretty good deals on plants, especially perennials. They sell all sorts of things for the garden like water features, trellises, watering cans & hoses, bird feeders, sundials, etc. etc. The prices are usually better than other places in the area. Blossom Knoll is my first stop every spring. They have a nice selection of annuals and perennials. The staff is helpful & knowledgeable most of the time-- sometimes there are seasonal employees who just do the watering & they are not experienced plant people. It was Mother's Day and my sons and husband wanted to buy me something that I've been looking for for a very long time! A Judas tree! I asked the young man behind the counter if he had any and he said what he had didn't go through the winter very well. And I said that's OK we'll take our chances and he said OK take that tree that looks the best and you may have it for free. I was bold over, he was so kind and generous. Everyone helped us get it into the car and protect the car from the ball of dirt with the roots. At that point I asked him how much they would normally cost since this one did certainly look dead, he said $50. So I did tell him that if it made it through the winter we would be back once it flowered and would pay him because where do you meet someone so extraordinarily kind and generous these days. He sure did make my Mother's Day even more special than it already was. And the tree suddenly has so many leaves er can't believe it! read more
