She gave me great tips on how to keep my plants in the best condition possible. She also created this amazing succulent glass dome that I got to give as a gift. Thank you for you help! It's such a unique place. There are some unusual plants and trees, plus the more conventional stock. Since it's the end of the season, plus we've had a drought, it could look a little bedraggled to anyone looking for polished rows of plants, but to a veteran gardener it's clear what's there. Plus the owner was generous in his advice about what to plant now. He also has a passionate interest in wellness and is eager to share his knowledge about mushrooms in particular. He doesn't sell mushrooms, but it is an interest. We will definitely be going back. He does landscape design, but this is also a retail nursery.

David arrived a few hours later (that very day I placed my initial call). He immediately understood what I wanted, wrote up a proposal and text me - again, that SAME day. I signed the proposal and work was done within 2 days totally to me satisfaction. This was not a huge job, yet certainly not very small either. Roberto seemed to be the "head" worker, along with 2 other very pleasant and hard working employees (whose names I do not recall). I highly recommend Katonah Nursery for any/all of your outdoor landscaping needs. I would like to single out both David and Roberto for their efforts and honestly wish I had need for more immediate work. They were both very open and responsive to all my questions. Actually, one week after work completed, I noticed a strange weed growing amongst the newly applied mulch. I sent David a text - the very next day Roberto arrived. Much to my embarrassment this "weed" turned out to be from the sunflower seeds overflowing from my nearby bird feeder!
