I'll give another star after they replace the surface on the parking lot and freshly re-stripe. American Asphalt will be re-paving, seal coat and striping the parking lot in phases, Phase 1 July 6-7 and Phase 2 July 8-9, 2016 (which means no parking 7am-5pm). Blossom Valley Shopping Center on Miramonte Ave is situated at the quaint and convenient location, especially so on the weekends when school is out. It has a mix of larger stores and smaller necessities. Parking is easy and plentiful. It features Safeway and CVS Pharmacy as its anchors, as well as Pet Food Express, Miramonte Vet hospital, and Country Pet Wash, where you could pamper your furry friend. I uploaded pictures on that listing separately, they have rosy colored roomy interior with multiple washing stations, quite good. Then there is loved by many Tea Annie and the House of Bagels location; a Starbucks, Mountain Mike's pizza franchise, China cafe, a yoga center, a dance studio and music school Veksler Academy, ranked highly and best recommended by locals; a Hallmark franchise, and several other smaller shops; Great Clips haircuts, Blossom Valley Shell gas station, all in all, everything you need is right here. Convenient access from Foothill Expressway at the corner of Springer Rd. It has the anchor in Andronico's Market for your groceries, produce, deli and such. The rest of the strip mall is filled with small shops, both of chain and of mom-n-paps variety. There's Starbucks, Rancho Pizza, yogurt place, cobbler, jewelry store, couple of apparel boutiques like Jôr'Jet Boutique, barber place, bakery, etc. Names include Therapy Salon, Pure Serenity Skincare, Altos Family Optometry, Preziosi jewelry, Brian's restaurant, FIT and CrossFIT, the UPS store, etc. There's also Rancho 76, a gas station and repair shop with oil change/smog check, with exceptional and friendly service. It's a casual place with laid back atmosphere, which feels very local to me. It's a community gathering place where you can have a nice chat with regulars and often meet a neighbor or two. They hold themed outdoor dance parties "Rock Back the Clock" as an annual Los Altos tradition, with refreshments from a variety of local merchants. Great family entertainment and fund raising to benefit the annual Los Altos Festival of Lights Parade (held after Thanksgiving).

I have contacted the property management company but the illegal practice continues weekly. Do not take your children or your pets there, because there is a good chance that they will be poisoned by the horrible air and deafened by the noise.

Took advantage of free 18-hole mini golf being offered at the Park this past Saturday, courtesy of MV Chamber of Commerce. They had limited golf clubs, especially adult sized, and the holes were very basic, with cartoonish props not even attached to the greens. Needless to say, I moved some of them around to make it more challenging and creative. Got at least a few hole-in-ones (I better, with how easy these were). Not the most exciting activity on a sunny afternoon, but it was good for some amusement, with a DJ playing a combination of hip hop, rock, and country music through the speakers. Afterward, I did some grocery shopping at the Safeway in the plaza, which was well stocked with all my favorite goods. I also recently enjoyed a flick at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, a newer theater featuring dine-in service at your seat during films. The Village offers a decent range of eateries and businesses, a dog park and sculpture garden with various artworks, as well as tables & seating adding to an inviting atmosphere. Plus, porta potties on site for convenience. And parking wasn't problematic for me this past weekend, which I appreciated (I hate crowded lots where there is nonmoving traffic and people fighting for parking spots).

The area was completely redeveloped with contemporary multi story Carmel The Village apartments, and The Village shopping center. It is anchored by a modern Safeway, and sports a variety of restaurants and cafes. Among notable businesses, The Counter burgers, SAJJ falafel place, Nekter Juice Bar, Fidelity Investments, a mattress store, Jared jewelry store, and across the parking lot, Starbucks, Veggie Grill, The Pizza Studio, Paul Martin American Grill. I actively dislike the parking citation here, on the Safeway parking lot. It seems to have been poorly designed, packed with enough parking spaces to satisfy the building code requirements, and to sustain the entire development. The resulting layout is difficult to maneuver, or get in and out of a slot, when you find one. The internal roads are not wide enough, and entrances/exits are awkward. It's a hassle and for this reason I'm rating it with three stars.

Enjoying a weekend with the girls, we wanted to find an area with a variety of restaurants. There was a lot to choose from, burgers, Mexican, Thai, to sushi and so much more. We settled on Gott's, a delicious hamburger spot. The shopping village has an array of stylish clothing boutiques as well as a resell store with top brand items. They have food and toiletry items covered with a CVS and Trader Joe's store. There's ample parking in front of most stores, a restroom, and plenty of trash bins throughout the area. The sidewalks and store fronts were clean and well displayed. Prices range from moderate to pricey. It was a beautiful day to window shop

They have a Boichik's bagels which I'll ride and die by--the best of CA, East coast style boiled bagels, worth every pretty penny they charge. Sadly, the Lesley Evers shop is now gone. They have restrooms and kitchen stores, with tons and tons of free parking. My absolute number one favorite vegan restaurant: Wildseed is here, with patio seating that can't be beat. I don't have photos but imagine the most quaint little shops and you've got the picture. Even in winter, when it's cold and raining, it's an eminently doable trip.
