When I walked into the salon and saw the decor and the enormous Christmas tree he designed and decorated himself, I knew I was in the right place and in good hands. He puts all of his creativity and energy into creating the perfect look. He was born to do this! It takes 1-2 months to get an appointment with Carlos himself, but it is well worth the wait. The other hairdressers in the salon appeared to be doing a wonderful job on their clients, as well. I have A LOT of hair, but he managed to do all-over highlights and lowlights with foils, cut, dry, and style my hair in 2 hours. Other stylists have taken 4-5 hours in the past for a less than satisfactory job. As long as I am fortunate enough to have him here in Johnson City, I will NEVER go to another salon for my hair. He is the shit. And I think his price is VERY reasonable for the level of service I received. My advice: make an appointment now, be patient and think about what you want your hair to look like, and then go to him and trust in him. If he makes suggestions, listen to him. He is an expert artisan.

They are advocates of some of the best beauty and hair products, and always have the best attitudes to back it up. For the most part, I am styled by Hollie, Allison, or Wendy; however, plenty of other ladies are as equally qualified!! They have a variety of services besides hair... such as, nails, make-up consolations, waxing, and even tanning. There is also a boutique in the front of the salon with items that range from clothing to jewelry, to premium beauty products, etc. The team moved salons last year... and what an upgrade! With all the hard work they put into doing what they love, it was well deserved. Thank you all for always being the salon to count on. The second my stylist was 15 minutes late, but it was still another great experience. This last time I got a text 5 minutes before my apt stating she didn't get out of bed, so she had to cancel & reschedule. No other reasoning but that. I GET it, things happen, but I drive an hour to be here (took off work) & I was leaving out of town the next day for the Eras Tour so there was no way to reschedule. She did offer to give me a discount the next time I came in which I appreciated, BUT I think if I have to sign a contract stating if I am a 'no show' or cancel last minute I can potentially be charged for the service; they should also be held accountable if the only reasoning is I didn't wake up. DEFINETLY a bummer I loved coming in there. :(
