I have been wanting to try this Mexican restaurant for several months now and on a Friday night my son and I decided to head to Columbiana to check it out. This restaurant is located in downtown Columbiana and during the summer every Friday they have live music and some vendors and they close down Main Street. There is parking when they close the street down and we were able to find a spot pretty close to the location. I was surprised we were able to walk in and get a table for two. The place was definitely busy, but there were still tables available. We were greeted promptly when we got there. I got a frozen strawberry margarita that was very delicious. I prefer thinner chips in these chips were a little thick. The salsa was OK as was the cheese dip. My son got nachos with beef and cheese and a side of rice. I decided to get the grilled chicken quesadilla I asked for no peppers, but onions were OK when I got my food. There were peppers in the quesadilla that I had to pick out. The server was running the bar and waiting tables. You could tell he was doing a lot all at once. The grilled chicken just did not taste right I couldn't even finish my quesadilla. The beans were good if I was to go there again I would probably get ground beef or a cheese entrée. I'm not sure if I'll be back if I do go back it would definitely be for the margaritas Because of the events outside, you could see a lot of people just walking to use the bathroom and when I went in there, the toilet would not flush. read more

What a pleasant surprise it was to locate this spot in the center of Columbia. The food was excellent, wait staff are friendly and efficient. The real jewel is the interior though. Very nicely appointed and use of the old downtown structure. read more

Loved it! We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. I had the open quesidilla with shrimp. Another in my party had the same with chicken. So good to say the least. I love this place. Moving to Alabama, sometimes hard to find good Mexican food. Staff are great. Every time I come in, no matter how busy, they are friendly and on top of everything. Never had a bad experience. My go to is their street tacos or tamales. I don't do queso, but I have tried it and it is good here, albeit it's not my thing anyway. I opt for their corn tortillas with anything I eat here though, always super soft. Drinks are consistent and well made. Good atmosphere. Love the murals. We came here tonight after some shopping and it was one of the best spots I've been to. Excellent food, drinks and service . My husband had and I had a couple drinks including a Michelada,margarita and cantarito . We shared aguachiles, birria tacos and an open face quesadilla . The aguachiles were our favorite and even better for the price. They also have authentic flavored waters: the horchata is delicious! The service was fast and everyone so friendly . This is one of my top two favorite Mexican restaurants. Their food is amazing and their drinks are great too. Their salsa is some of the best I've had. I really wanted to give this location a good review. I was hoping for something in downtown Columbian that we could frequent regularly. We will probably not return. The service was very slow. Our server ignored part of our party when taking the orders, did not bring everyone their drink orders, and did not refill drinks the entire meal. The food was ok. Nothing spectacular, but good enough to do a return trip. Getting the check was another issue. We were here for almost 2 hours and of that time we spent 15-20 minutes eating our meal. read more

First time in today for lunch. It was a late lunch on a Saturday so not many people. Service was good. Food was excellent! My wife and I split the fajitas. The steak and chicken pieces were the biggest we have ever seen for fajitas. Lots of flavor. Chips and salsa were great too! We will be back! read more

We recently moved to the area from AZ but didn't expect to find Mexican food this good in Columbiana. We went on a Sunday evening, so the place was pretty empty which made us a little nervous at first. We were seated right away and from the time we sat down to the time we left, the service was exceptional. The food was fantastic and the portions were huge. (We ordered the burrito supreme and fajitas along with the ceviche). We each had a couple margaritas to top everything off (they were also really good). Best part is the price was very reasonable. We will definitely return often! read more
