This place is a great find in Chelsea. We were out running around and decided on an early dinner. Found this place on yelp. Not too far out of the way, and it's a local spot. All the key ingredients for a terrific find. Located next to a fire department, from which it gets its name. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You walk in and feel right at home. A cozy casual setting, very inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is top notch, down home southern hospitality. Very friendly, prompt, and glad to have you. This is more than just a good place to eat, it is a good place to be, especially with friends. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

This is the best buffalo chicken sandwich that I can ever remember. You really need two buns or just slip it with someone else. I don't know how you can eat the whole thing in one sitting. I have to believe that they make their own ranch dressing from scratch. It's amazing!! The best ranch I have ever eaten. If your in the area, stop by and get one. You won't regret it.

Rum Runner happy hour drink was tasty! Dont eat the leaf, just for looks. Dont ask how I know

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Place is casual but cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Updating our first visit. Service was fine but waiter was so busy. They gave too many tables for one. It was Fathers Day weekend so lots of big groups. Food was good again. I had black and bleu salad with house vinaigrette. I give it a 5 except I warned the waiter to just tell the chef next time I wanted Medium but I really love some pink just not bloody. He advised me to order Medium Well but I refused and ordered Medium. Still after all that, No-o-o Pink!!! All medium brown. Waiter wanted to return it, but I never do that. Just don't ask me how you want your steak cooked if you ignore the answer ! Our table of four liked our food very much. However, [[HIGHLIGHT]]The noise was so horrible we could hardly eat and three of us ended up with a headache![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We will never ever eat in the back room again. Two groups of about 20 put 10 plus kids unsupervised at the end of their tables. You guessed it! Both ends of screaming hyper poorly behaved children were in our direction.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Finally we moved outside to try to catch up with our friends. After 10 minutes, whoa---- the kids followed us out. They had a cute play area with bean bag toss & other games. Kids were entitled to scream in the play area and they did![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Wish they could insulate inside ceiling or something.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Won't rush back and will wait for a booth up front, please![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Lemon Drop Martini was one of the best I've had! Cheeseburger was cooked perfectly and our waitress Gracie was AMAZING!

    Trust me, I finished it...eventually.

I had the PARMESAN CHICKEN SANDWICH. It is great and very filling. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The "station" is very pretty, noting that it was once a fire station.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]A impeccable restaurant indeed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I also had the smokehouse burger, and it was hands-down one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked just right. What really stood out beyond the food was the overall experience. The staff was incredibly nice, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing, which made us feel right at home. The restaurant itself was clean and comfortable, and even the bathrooms were spotless, which always says a lot about a place. It also hasn't been very busy the times we've gone, which made for a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Even so, the food came out quickly and was still hot and fresh, which is the best of both worlds. We actually loved it so much that we went back again just a couple of days later, and it was just as good the second time around. If you're looking for great Southern food, friendly service, and a laid-back dining experience, Dale's Southern Grill is definitely worth a visit. The ONLY thing I didn't like was the kids' chicken finger meal. I tried one of the chicken fingers when biting it to give to my toddler, and it wasn't good. The taste was weird and it was gummy. I ended up not giving her them.

She was efficient, checked up on us, kept our drinks full and even showed how considerate she is. This creative breakfast entree features their biscuit- split with fried chicken, poached egg and topped with their chicken sausage gravy. Definitely a big breakfast and shareable! Loved the tender biscuit, the crunch of the fried chicken and the savory flavorful chicken sausage gravy! The side of seasoned Moon Dust potatoes were great, too. I look forward to returning and trying their French Toast, Pancakes or a plain, yummy biscuit!

Only concern was I asked for Champy's sauce with the tender basket, looked at it in the parking lot and noticed it looked like their honey mustard instead. Tried it, confirmed it tasted like honey mustard, then went inside with my receipt asking for it to be switched for Champy's sauce. Spoke to a waitress (not the one who helped us at drive thru) and I explained that I wanted Champy's sauce. She said "uh huh" confused and I held up what I had saying it tasted like honey mustard. She said yes Champy's sauce is honey mustard based. I told her I've been to (and worked as a teenager) at Champy's before in Tennessee and the color was more yellow than the orange I'm used to (like they added too much honey mustard) and again it tasted exactly like honey mustard. She explained that the Champy's sauce (and red heat) recipe was different at their location. I took her answer and left. Not sure if I indeed had honey mustard (they come in the same containers) and she didn't want to double check or if their Champy's sauce recipe really is just primarily honey mustard. I think the people of Alabama are missing out though on the champys sauce from the original location in Chattanooga, not sure why there is so much variation between locations. Other than that, everything was great!
