We have heard about this place from social media and we had a free Saturday we wanted to check this place out. Listen, it did not disappoint. The food was amazing. I'm all about independent owned restaurants, try to avoid the chains, but i feel the independents need something to hang their hat on. This establishment did not offer me that advantage. We lived in AZ for a little bit so my husband is always on the hunt for a good burrito. He really likes the California style with the french fries in it. He did a quick Yelp search and this place turned up. They have a large menu that includes breakfast. I'd like to go back and try that. We each got a California burrito but he got the steak and I got the chicken. It comes with some delicious tortilla chips. We went halfsies so we could each have a taste of the meats. The steak was a tad better but both were really good. We enjoyed all three sauces as well. There was another lady at a table near ours and she had a club sandwich. That also looked really good! Everything I've had here is amazing! The food takes a little while, so don't expect it to be at fast food pace, it's on the island time! The breakfast is awesome and if you like strong coffee, you'll love theirs. I like that they have free syrups etc to go with your coffee. Delicious food, but over priced on some things, like adding avocado. You can buy a few whole avocados at the store for the price of only 4 thin slices at the restaurant. Found out about this hidden jewel in Alabaster from one of my fellow yelpers and decided to try them out! Glad I did!! This place has a 96 health score which is incredible!!! We were immediately impressed with how clean the entire place was , so we weren't hesitant about dining in...From top to bottom this place was spotless! I come in with my service dog and was stared down by the older guy there as if he had an issue with the dog but also didn't say anything at all. This is my second visit to this restaurant. I think tonight is the 2nd in over a year. I don't go in this direction often, so I tend to forget it's there. I attended church not too far from the restaurant on last Sunday and I decided I would go back soon. I wanted something with cheese and beans tonight. I was going to go to my regular place but since I was out, I decided on Los Angeles Burritto. I sat in the parking lot of the store I just finished shopping in and called in my order. She said that it would be ready in 15 minutes, so I decided to make another quick stop. When I arrived, I told her I called in for the LA Burritto with beef. It was filled with rice, beans, and cheese (just what I wanted) and topped with lettuce and tomatoes. I enjoyed my meal. It was huge, so the rest will be for a late night snack or breakfast. The young lady was very friendly and she explained to me the different temperature levels of their salsa and I settled on the mild because she said that so many people get confused on the medium which is green and may be a little on the hot side. We have lived in the area 8+ years and didn't know about this place! We wanted to try something new and found this awesome spot on Yelp! We have been 2-3 times now and look forward to our next trip. The first time I got the Huarache which was wonderful. When we looked it up to see what it was it said it's not a very popular dish so it's fun to see on the menu here! Went there last night with a group of buddies. Not your typical Mexican. They have anything from breakfast, to standard mexican, and even hotdogs and hamburgers. I was in the mood for a taco salad, so I ordered the steak taco salad and a drink. $12 for the two, without any sides. The food took about 20 minutes to come out. It was served on a foam plate. My taco salad was in a SMALL fried tortilla bowl. It had refried beans, lettuce, pico, shredded cheese, a small portion of steak, a slice of avocado and a sour cream/ranch sauce. I had to add salsa to get a decent mexican flavor. LA Burrito was a step above Taco Bell with the price of a decent mexican restaurant without the free chips and salsa (that was a $3.99 add on). My meal was just ehhh, I really went for the company of some friends. Wouldn't be my choice in the future. read more

After living in the area for 5-1/2 years this is my first time trying this restaurant. I've passed by a time or two, but never decided to stop. Today i wanted authentic Mexican food without having to get stuck in traffic to get it. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall and is easy to find. The menu offer everything from breakfast items, sandwiches to Mexican dishes. I ordered the California burrito (without the tortilla) along with a side of queso, salsa and chips to go. The restaurant is very clean as their health department rating is a 96 and everything looks clean, neat and tidy. I ordered my food for to-go, but they do have a small sitting area for people who want to dine in. I was pleased to know that my food was being cooked to order and the wait time was average. When i made it home, my food was still warm and was delicious. The presentation of my burrito bowl was nice and I could tell that they used fresh ingredients. The portion size was also proportionate for an average adult to eat. I will return to this restaurant whenever I want some good Mexican food. read more

I ordered this for lunch through Postmates. Based on the Yelp reviews, I really wanted to try the California Burrito but it wasn't on the Postmates menu. So I got the Grilled Steak Breakfast Burrito. It was good but not really anything special. And I would say that the potato to steak ratio was a bit off. Felt like it was more of a Grilled Potato Breakfast Burrito. Tasted fresh and food was still warm when I got it. Good for the price though. Not sure if I'd order again. Would eventually like to try it at the establishment to see how it is in person vs delivery. read more
