I'd argue that this is the elite Blue Boutique location of all of them. It's pretty large and has an 18+ room for discreet goodies, but what I really come here for is a high quality costume or festival outfit! Their prices can be intimidating to say the least, but anything I've purchased from here is built to last and gets tons of attention when I wear it out. I also love their huge shoe room, with unique heels and boots that are hard to find in Utah due to our more conservative nature. When I visited today, they were doing a cute Easter egg hunt, but I was in a rush so didn't score any prizes. So i have been here many many MANY times threw out the years. With clients and by myself to purchase things for work ect. (I am a "entertainer") so i have loved this store for many years. I have a account with them and get a discount so there is a little back story of my history of this place. TODAY though, me my daughter and her friend went in. My daughter just turned 18 so of course she wanted to be able to explore ALL of this store haha. We went in and went back to the sex toy area and bought a couple things. And then we wandered out onto the lingerie floor and wandered awhile. My daughter's friend had a few items she was buying n i was just looking around. As we were shopping my daughter had to use the bathroom and had started her "shark week" n called me to run to the car to grab her a girly item. A employee was nearby and i asked her where the bathroom was n she told me but said "i think someone is in there". I just said "yeah i know it's just my daughter she needs a tampon" she said "oh ok" so i went n got that n gave it to her. No issues there . I noticed we were being extra babysat by the employees during our shopping which was rather annoying but i kinda understood considering i had handed her that tampon while in the bathroom. BUT i had also already purchased several other items so..whatever. Fast forward to the register i go to use my discount for my daughters friends item and the lady says "that expired so can't use it" with a weird sassy tone. i just said ok. Even though it worked fine in the back room 5 minutes prior. So as we're leaving, i just KNEW the alarm was going to go off after being babysat like that for our time being there by all the employees. N sure enough it did. (Forgot to mention we all also only brought in our wallets no purses lol) . But yeah as we turned around to walk back in cuz the employee came running towards us another employee came out from the side n points right at me n says "i bet it's that one!" ....i was taken back but it also didn't hit me exactly what was going on really so i just obliged n handed over my shopping bag n stuff. Walked through the metal detector thing n the alarm's went off again. (Weird) but yeah they just let us go after checking the bags. It was just strange behavior considering iv been in many times. Some of the employees know me by name. And i have a account with them that shows iv spent thousands here. Definitely put a bad taste in my mouth. Hope this type of stuff changes. Not cool. Many people, including my sweet wife, get embarrassed or shy going in to stores like this. However, the staff are so incredibly professional and knowledgeable, and never make anything weird. They are always happy to help, answer questions or give suggestions based on what you are looking for (whether you know what you're looking for or not.) The store has a variety of lingerie, of course, along with costumes and cosplay outfits. There are even a few pieces of mainstream clothing that you could wear to your mother in law's house. My only real complaint is the price. Everything seems to be marked up about 30% more than I think would be a fair price. If you are unsure of your true bra size, the staff here can help with fittings to make sure that you get something that fits you perfectly. And they do it in such a way that rally puts you at ease, making you comfortable and happy to be there. If you are in the market for something sexy, edgy or unusual, you'll likely find it here. There's an adult room in the back that has toys and novelty items that would be fun for bachelor parties, etc. I'd imagine that if you wanted something very specific, they would be able to order it or point you to something that meets your needs. read more

. Me and my mother and my best friend had came here as it's my 18th birthday so of course I wanted to come and just look as I've never been in there. I had went to the bathroom and as a lady, I started my period. So I called my mother and asked her to run out to the car and bring me a tampon. So she did and she came in brought me the tampon. I love this place! What set's Blue Boutique aside from other adult novelty shops is the array content, the quality, friendly respectful professionals, and atmosphere. In my limited time shopping around, I've noticed that several shops had one or two of these values but not all of them. (And some of them had none!) It's very much like Victoria Secret's atmosphere, there is undeniable knowledge that it is a spicy lingerie shop, but it's still comfortable to walk around in, and you can feel confident and intrigued rather than intimidated and embarrassed. Blue Boutique is the only shop I know of, that is open year round and has the kind of high quality selection of merchandise that fits my standard of dress up! I CANNOT BEGIN TO DESCRIBE HOW HORRIBLE MY LAST TRIP WAS. IT WAS SIMILAR TO THE WAY I WAS TREATED BY MY ARMY BOOT CAMP DRILL SERGEANT... There is a 2nd box next to it, same item but the 2nd has the tightly sealed plastic packaging - like all NEW items. EXCEPT THIS DIDN'T. I thought it was one they opened to show (they do in fact do this). Or something that got returned? I didn't consider it opening a NEW item but the second I did, a female TURNS THE CORNER AND INSTANTLY TOLD ME TO BUY IT. Once I saw what it was, I knew I wouldn't use it. I simply wouldn't.. but she got VICIOUS. FAST. My guy was just as shocked as I was. She got MEAN, ARGUMENTATIVE AND HAD AN INSANELY CONDESCENDING ATTITUDE. SHE WAS INSTANTLY SHAKING AND HOSTILE. IT TURNED INTO HARRASSMENT. She called me a liar, said I ripped the plastic off. I said there was none. She insisted if there wasn't they would have put tape on it. Which means some sort of adhesive would be on the box, but she accused me of taking that off too. Yesn with my fingers - I completely took off all remnants of any tape.. with all my magic skills.. said that can't resell it, which I totally understand if I had opened a new package, but this opened package - NO. My guy and I were both were pretty calm and level headed. They COULD/WOULD NOT CONFIRM THAT IT WASN'T OPENED/TOUCHED BY EMPLOYEES OR ANY CUSTOMERS. She didn't see THAT, she saw me. Which I feel was pretty convient considering they "CAN'T SELL" open items BUT IT WAS. AND THEY FORCED ME TO BUY IT. We asked for a manager, but she said, they are all managers and she would call the police if we didnt buy it. Mind you, I was willing to pay for it, if I had opened a closed/wrapped package BUT I DID NOT. This occurred in the "secret" room, I'm 100% SURE THEY HAVE CAMERAS. I would have enjoyed them explaining it to the police. Then was ANOTHER emp and then another that came to the front. THEY SIMPLY treatened the police and refused to see any other side of it. Just threats. No offers to look into it. They pointed out that they have the SMALLEST SIGN EVER saying their policy is you aren't allowed to open the items. Yes, BUT THAT IS SEALED PACKAGES. IF everyone just blindly bought whatever was in the OPENED BOX WITHOUT CHECKING, I AM SURE WE WOULD NEED TO END UP RETURNING A FEW THINGS. BUT WAIT, THEY WILL NOT RETURN OR EXCHANGE ANYTHING YOU OPENED (EVEN A MANUFACTURER ISSUE) NO EXCEPTIONS. THEY WILL NOT OFFER AN EXCHANGE OR STORE CREDIT. THEY LITERALLY STEAL FROM US AND EXPECT US TO BE OK WITH IT. This all happened within about a 5-10 minute period. We had been in the store for over half an hour before we even went back there. I do believe this is their way of padding their numbers, taking advantage of people. It's THEIR WAY OF STEALING FROM CUSTOMERS. I'm pretty positive they get commission and I don't doubt that they just laughed about the whole thing after. I did end up paying for it. With the gift card I got from the guy for Christmas. OUR USUAL LITTLE FUN SECRET STOCKING STUFFER.. We have been to this location a few times since we moved up here. And I have been to others a lot as well, these "girls" (because women do not behave this way) act like they have a right to be judgemental, condescending, and downright verbally abusive to anyone. We had plans to meet up with friends that night. Or I would have waited for the police. 1. You can tell by the way they only respond to good reviews that they just brush off the few they screwed over. 2. I highly doubt they'll make any changes, so enter at your own risk. 3. You will likely not like something, and theres nothing you can do about anything, including manufactuer defects. Because it doesn't benefit them. BB - Hire some real women, and earn our trust. My boyfriend bought me two items from Blue Boutique for Christmas. One item was a pair of long satin gloves. I tried on the first one and the stitching on one of the fingers was wrong and left a big opening. The second item was a pair of feathered tassels. When I opened their package, one of the feathers wasn't even attached. Both packages still had their price tags on them (they were from my boyfriend, guys tend to forget to remove things like that), so I took both item into the Sugarhouse location where he had purchased them in order to exchange them. The sales girl told me that I couldn't exchange either item or even get store credit. She said she would give me a discount card that I could use on future a purchase. How does that help? I had two items that were damaged straight out of the package and the store was unwilling to do anything about it!!! They clearly don't stand behind their merchandise. This store is a 10/10!!! All of the staff were non judge mental and super helpful, if you wanted to be left alone you could be, or they'd help you along the whole way. Very educated and VERY sanitary! LGBTQ+ approved! The environment felt very safe. There's a front area with lingere, costumes, lube, and games to purchase WITHOUT ID. However there is an 18+ room in the back with all of the toys and vibrators. As a lesbian I was intimidated to go into a sex shop to get a strap on dildo for my first time. But they didn't even bat an eye, found me just what I needed! Lots of options, don't be nervous to go in it's worth it. They have displays that you can touch that way you know if it would work for you. There was one I found that wasn't on display, but she let me feel it anyway (had to put gloves on!!!) Unfortunately, I have to write a negative review for Derek Leavell for performing an incorrect triangle piercing. Before and during being pierced, I would have easily given him five stars for customer service, demeanor, patience, and professionalism. I wish I had gone to him for something more common, but he reassured me that he was confident in his skill and experience although he only completes triangle piercings about three times a year and is self taught for triangles. The piercing should sit internally beneath your clit and exit on both sides. It's difficult to explain, but on mine the piercing needle went in, exited (now external to my body) under my clit, went back in, and exited again on the other side. It wasn't possible for the piercing to migrate in a short amount of time from internal to external and was simply an error by the piercer. In short, everything would have been great for a simple piercing or something more common, but an error was made on a difficult area to pierce that he doesn't do frequently. The total cost was $100 and $15 tip. Update: Derek contacted me by email immediately and offered to re-pierce the area and apologized. Again, this just demonstrates his professionalism and his frustration to have made an error. Seeing as I don't live in the area, this isn't something I can consider, but it's worth noting. read more

A lot of adult stores make you feel dirty, this one makes you feel classy. For those who don't believe in adult toy use, they have an excellent selection of lingerie and costumes out front and you won't even have to see an adult toy unless you wish to. They are hidden in a back room accessible only to adults. My one complaint would be that their prices are ridiculously high. Expect to pay at least double for whatever you would pay online. Besides the 5 employees following us everywhere under the guise of "do you need help" every 10 seconds, their dressing room policies make you feel like a criminal.
