We have called this man numerous times to fix or replace our sump pump, remove the mold growing on the joists. He no longer accepts our calls and once again our crawl space flooded this weekend with the historic rain and no sump pump. We just put in a $100,000 remodel on our home and now I have to worry about mold. Avoid this company if you value your home.

Unfortunately, I experienced a number of issues with both -- some ongoing -- and the customer service from the team in that office has been terrible. While they were quick to give a quote (and I will say, the price was good), getting the workers out to complete the jobs was extremely difficult and unpredictable. I had to go back and forth with the sales rep on multiple occasions with continual reminders just to get them to finally show up. Once they did, the work completed was shoddy in a few ways that negatively impacted my house build. I tried to address getting the problems fixed multiple times and got zero response from their sales reps nor managers. Once my check had cleared it was as though they had no responsibility to stand by their work. At the point of final inspections, and aside from the fact that it is visually problematic, the inspector pointed out the chimney pipe was crooked and needed to be fixed. The pipe when initially installed was not properly braced, which was an issue with our first building inspection. After several follow ups, they finally came to address the bracing, but it was clearly not strong enough as the chimney pipe (you'll see in the photos) is still improperly placed. Additionally, there were a number of spots with overspray of insulation on the windows and the roof due to not using baffles. When I initially tried to address this I was told the spray was water soluble and "easily removed." This has proven to be untrue and I am unable to clean these areas off. I asked that 31W advise as to how exactly this excess material could truly be removed or assist with removing, without causing any further damage to the materials, and got no reply from the sales rep, manager, nor the 31W Regional Manager who I tried to reach out to numerous times. 31W came to me highly recommended, but unfortunately based on my own experience at this point I cannot pass that recommendation along any further, and thought it was important for others to know the risks they take in hiring this company.

In the end, it was their knowledge and expertise that helped me make the decision to go with them. The installation crew--Austin, George, and Joseph--did a great job. They kept me in the loop about what they were doing and why, which I really appreciated. After they finished, they gave me a rundown of the job and explained and showed me everything they did, and answered any questions I had. First impression was amazing they had a guy out at my house quickly to give me…read morean estimate and by the end of that visit I told them I was willing to have them to do the work. I scheduled for the following friday with the tech and they were supposed to email me the estimate. A week later ...nada. No one returned calls. The Thursday before I finally got a person and no one even knew about the coming out, the estimate wasn't done, and they never would return my call after 3 calls that day on how much and if they were still coming. At this point, if they show up they can just turn around. Not sure how good they are but their customer service leaves a LOT to be desired.

We are new to the area and so I actually read reviews to determine who I wanted to check on our foundation and moisture issues. Anthony did not try to sell us something we did not need. The work that was done recently was 100% better than the first time. We were informed that they had had issues with the crew who did the work the first time and were dealt with. They fixed the work free of charge and the crew that was here did a good job and was very nice throughout the process. I appreciate that the owner took our position into consideration and did the right thing. As a business owner he could have taken advantage of us like some business owners have done us in the past because we are a younger couple but he was nice enough to want his work to be done correctly.
