No, it's an automated one, but you're also not paying somebody $200 to detail your car. It's great to get a quick clean up and the vacuums are good. Name me a better car wash for the price? Friendly helpful staff. However, the quality of the wash was subpar. The brushes left 3 vertical scratches on the sides of my back license plate. The towels provided to dry the car afterwards were all damp to wet, and there were several areas of dirt left which I had to get rid of using the wet towel. Additionally, the mechanism used to pull my car through the wash in neutral rendered my car undriveable after leaving the vacuum station. It was bucking badly. I had to call a tow to a car place and get a rental (over $550) to find the mechanism somehow got my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee stuck in 4Low, Rock Mode. The car place had to disconnect and reconnect the battery, recycle and reset it, to get it back to normal. I will not be going there again. read more

I've been here several times. It was always a sub par wash job but the last time I wasted my $13 I was mad. A brand new black Honda Pilot and it didn't even remove the bugs from the windshield and dirt off the car. It isn't winter, hasn't rained in a few weeks and the car was just dusty. Well I could of done better at home. Plus the drying towels were all wet so drying the car was a challenge. So disappointed with this place because it is big, clean and convenient but a lousy car wash. read more

I visited Kalispell Montana for a few week and came across this car wash, ended up using it 3 time during my stay. All 3 times I was there I was helped out by one of the Attendants his name was Mark, all I can say is WOW the customer service I received from him was stellar! Especially from a car wash never in my life was I treated so well. Under normal circumstances I would not give a place one star unless they were really awful well this place qualifies. You pay $13 for a car wash they provide blue towels that are damp for you to wash your vehicle and in a matter of 15 minutes I was thoroughly insulted twice. First I rolled up like most drive-through car wash is have You can vacuum your car before you go through the wash so you get all the debris out of your door jams. I started to do so and was stopped by and mail a tenant saying you can't use the vacuums for free. I then informed him I was not using it for free I was using it before I went through the wash then told me I could not continue until I paid for a wash. And then very politely told him that most carwashes allow you to vacuum your car before you go through the wash even if you're paying for the vacuum and I told him I would pay for the vacuum if that was the problem and he said no you can't use the vacuum before you go through the wash. I didn't sucked it up and went and paid $13 for a car wash. After coming out the other side I had to go back through because I believe it or not the car wash didn't do a very good job with moderate dirt and road grime on the exterior of my suv. They allowed me to go back through that was decent. I then pulled up to the vacuums to continue vacuuming my vehicle. About halfway through the vacuuming I went to grab some damn blue towels that are offered as a courtesy. In the basket was piles of blue towels that were clean so I grabbed a couple to go hit the spot on the exterior of the vehicle at the car wash missed I then went to the inside and started wiping down the dash and Salon like anyone would. I don't have a female attended come over and tell me I was only allowed one towel to use. I looked at her and then looked at the basket and then looked around for signage only to find there is no sign anywhere that states that you can only use one towel. I then said oh I didn't realize that it doesn't say that anywhere and for 13 bucks it should be OK to use a couple of towels if you need them right? She then said no sir I need one of your towels you're not allowed to have more than one towel I looked at her with an odd look and said I'm just about done so let me finish up and I'll remember that for next time. She literally stood there and said sir I need one towel from you I'm going to have to ask you to leave At no point was I ever belligerent rude or should I use a negative tone of voice. At no point was I being unkind, and at no point was I out of line by presuming I could use the vacuum before I went through the wash nor use a couple of towels are which obviously we're going to be returning in the bucket to said dirty towels. The cow needs competition. Brand new pickup aith nothing more than bugs and grit from a trip to and from missoula. The simply can't get it clean. They have vehicles going through the wash as fast as the wash can take them. We need another car wash and not a spray only wash like at the local gas stations. read more

State of the art facility- from start to finish this car wash was amazing. I opted for the premium wash and was blown away. Not only that, but the staff is incredibly helpful and very professional and nice. This establishment is run extremely efficiently and you can clearly tell how much there is invested in the place. We had been traveling on some muddy backroads in a remote part of Montana, and our truck was caked with the type of mud that turns to concrete after it's dried. It was on the mirrors, the steps, the windshield... there wasn't a nook or cranny that wasn't covered in the concrete-like mud. We went through the Blue Cow and advised the first attendant that if they couldn't get all the it off that we'd be back through for a second shot. The two attendants at the front of the carwash who spray the rig down before it goes through the brushes took one look at our formerly silver truck and went to town on it. They sprayed and scrubbed for several minutes, making certain the mud was off the mirrors, the steps, the tailgate... They even scrubbed the wheel wells. Needless to say, our truck was squeaky clean when we rolled out of the carwash. The front line team did an awesome job, and what they couldn't get off was removed by the brushes and sprays inside the wash. Nicely done. Worth every penny! read more

Went thru, like we have been for the last 5 years, and car hood and top of car was still dirty. Bugs were not even clean from front of car. Mark came out and said because we have a roof rack that our Jeep Cherokee cannot be cleaned in those places. But, it was before. So, will not return...especially if Mark is there. A little advice, wash your car AFTER going to Glacier National Park. We stopped in here on the way to the park to wash the car. They came out right away and handed us a rag and a bottle of cleaner to get the inside of the car while we went through. It is basic window cleaner, nothing crazy special about that blue liquid. The vacuums are free, which is really nice, I get sick of dropping quarters in those like a bad 80's video game. They do an odd thing though, they open the driver door, which we weren't expecting, but they wiped the inside of the door jamb down. They don't do the passenger side, guess it is the driver side they figure gets the most action. Not to fear, we took the cleaner and did the passenger side ourselves. It was $10 for their complete package of cleaning. The car looked great, that was until we took it up on the Going-to-the-Sun Road. We encountered several water falls that looked clear, but were just full of silt, so the car was coated in that stuff. There is no way around it on that road this time of year. Some people were stopped under waterfalls due to the road being shut down to one lane and melting snow. You don't notice how bad the silt is until it dries. read more

If I could select 0 stars I would. The owners are super rude and terrible at using proper signage.on my way home from work, I decided stop at the car wash. I pulled in and got in line. Some stupid woman from the car wash came pounding on my window like a psycho. I ignored her and kept moving in line because I didn't trust her. Suddenly a guy comes up and starts threatening to refuse service because they didn't have proper signage about where the line started and I had accidentally cut in line.... This was a simple mistake that would have been resolved easily if they weren't psychotic. The workers are very nice... I just feel bad for anyone that has put up with their nonsense on a daily basis. This isn't my first bad experience at this Blue Cow Car Wash. They broke the mirror on my truck when they slammed it into my car window a few year's ago... no apology no help fixing it... That's the thanks I get for giving them second chance. I have $32/month membership that at times has not been used one or twice in the month... needless to say... I drove to Kalispell this past weekend and hit a bird on the way down. I asked if they could take the bird out of the grill because we refused to touch it. She said yes they will get it out... paid for a $13 car wash, went through the entire thing, got out and the bird was still there. I was pissed. Went back around and went WTF to the woman. Pretty impressed with this car wash. Not used to getting this much hands-on attention to my vehicle for this price. Came in with a really dirty vehicle after pulling the trailer through multiple states. Feels good to have a clean vehicle again after all those miles. The vacuums work great and very strong. The inside of our vehicle was pretty dirty after all those miles. Having towels to wipe down the interior at the end was a nice touch as well. I would like to spend a good day wiping down the inside of the truck but I think everything looks really good. Will definitely be back. read more

I won't go back there. Having just harvested an elk I pressure washed the bed of my pickup at home to remove hair and blood. Later the same day I stopped by this car wash for the ultimate or full service wash. As they always do they checked the bed of my pickup. I was refused a wash because the young lady found 2 small blood spots dried in the bed of my truck. I couldn't believe it! Keep in mind, this is Montana where we enjoy hunting and fishing. I immediately drove downtown to the Valvoline Express Car Wash. When I told them I had 2 spots of elk blood dried in the bed they congratulated me on the elk and then washed my truck. I would like to say that I used to be impressed with this car wash however the same cannot be said anymore it has turned into a production line with no attention to detail. This car wash just pumps the cars through one after another. The brushes don't ever get adequately cleaned and so if your vehicle has any sort of dirt on it don't expect it to come out without several scratches etched into the side of it. You can pay $13 for the most expensive wash and it will look like it didn't even get washed when it's done. How disappointing not to mention the swirls and scratches you have to fix now because of the dirty brushes. Do yourself a favor and wash it yourself or take your car elsewhere. read more

WASTE OF MY TIME! dont use the blue cow if you own a truck that is actually used for work. get all the way to the wash and see a sign that says truck beds must be clean. so i run all the way back home...unload the truck bed and even go through the trouble of sweeping the bed out for them. go alllllll the way back, they find literally 2 drops of some sort of oil in the back of my truck and turn me away. If a person has to go through the trouble of power washing and scrubbing the truck bed just to get the vehicle washed you might as well wash the thing whole thing yourself and not even bother with the BLUE COW. Absolutely agree with the previous post - "Wash your car AFTER going to Glacier National Park". For anyone familiar with Brown Bear Car wash in the Northwest this car wash is absolutely comparable to them! After traveling across three states then through Glacier NP, my SUV was almost unrecognizable! They used soft brush which removed all the bugs and dirt/silt making it look brand new. I was hesitant to use a car wash since my car is brand new (only ever hand washing it) and being in a unfamiliar city. I would HIGHLY recommend this car wash after your trip through Glacier! Good exterior car wash. Interior is DYI. Skip the vacuums at the entrance - there are more vacuums at the exit of the wash machine. Waiting until afterward you can avoid jockeying the queue to get into machine & get through faster. There are help yourself cleaning towels & windex to finish the job at the vacuum stations. Drawback is that there is always a line to wait. Maybe because they are the only carwash in town (that I know of) with brushes & carwash people to dry the cars. read more
