We wanted this because we USED to like the shop and wanted to support them instead of taking the cash and spending it somewhere else. After using it a couple times my wife went in to use it and the man owner refused her, called her a liar, and got aggressive and nasty. He's a real jackass, abusive to customers, and doesn't deserve the business he inherited from Daddy. We will never go back in there after the way he treated my wife. Bottom line is he cheated us out of money. DISHONEST.

My dad used to renovate run-down stuff he'd salvaged from the Alna Dump (dump picking was legal; this was the early 70s) and sell or trade to Elmer. Hours would go by. So much amazing and rusty junk, and random things like thousands of wooden eggs and bags of antique long white gloves and lace tablecloths sold by the pound. Anyway, it's an antique mall, now, but there is still the old vibe there, chickens wandering around, rusty sawblades, and if you go out in the back rooms which maybe you aren't supposed to...The smell of wet cement and the old creepy tools hanging up *chef's kiss* Oh, and you'll leave with something reasonably priced. Last trip's treasures were that Yes album with the six part fold-out-art ($8) and a kinda cheesy old painting with ornate frame ($13); I'll toss the painting and upcycle the frame. Pretty sure some ghosts "live" there...bring a camera and take some spooky pictures to see spirit orbs! Can't recommend an Elmer's afternoon highly enough, particularly on a cold, rainy day.

Quality you don't see everywhere these days. Great taste-the buyer has style. Helpful, friendly people who give you space and go out of their way. And the second nicest golden retriever to greet you ( I have to say second, as mine is watching me as I write this). Delivery was smooth, and they were nice too-which matters when you're letting them in your home. And the fee was actually low enough I found myself concerned they covered their cost. They are about two hours away from me, but I'll go back. You should check them out!

I have to say that it was beautiful inside. Everything was beautifully arranged and the people that worked there were kind and helpful. The only thing for us was that the store is three stories high and my Nana can't climb stairs well so she couldn't look at everything that was in stock. The woman that was helping us did suggest that we could look online but my Nana would have preferred to see, touch and sit on the furniture she would buy. It was a nice furniture store.

I'm not sure what this place is. The place is absolutely packed with rugs, jewelery, lights, stationary and endless little weird things. In fact everything in this place is weird. Sometimes just a little strange but still not quite right. The store smells strange although not in a bad way and even the people that work there are strange but in a extremely nice and friendly way. They sure love to talk. It's almost as if they don't really care if you buy anything they just want you to appreciate the strangeness of it all. My wife end up talking to a woman who works there about all types of strange and bizarre things for quite a while. I've never seen a store quite like this. Everything is strange, bizarre and not quite right but all in a very friendly and attractive way.
