I had my 2nd encounter today with William Thompson! He is the absolute best...he's an older guy who about 8 mos. ago installed all new locks in my house. I was told by someone then that he gives you a time and he will never be 1 minute late. Believes in punctuality. He was great! This time it was a very pressing issue! I actually locked myself in my garage! Scary, being in a hot garage trying to figure out how to get out. The garage door would open the day before and the door locked behind me when I walked into the garage. ThankGod I had my phone, he dropped the job he was working on and rushed over from the next suburb to pick one of my locks to get me out of the garage! I made all my arrangements with Marc through emails. He was very prompt and timely in answering every one of them. Marc came out as scheduled. He was very professional, friendly, motivated, and worked non-stop while here (even while receiving calls from his office). His pricing is also very comparable to others. He drilled holes for 1 new door hardware, changed hardware on 4 other doors, and changed out the locks. On the matching door locks I had inadvertently purchased mismatching locksets, but he had no problem matching them and was friendly about the whole thing - as many of us have experienced this would cause some vendors to get quite frustrated. And, as a note about his thoroughness and integrity of job he even noticed a couple of our deadbolt holes (where the lock goes) were too shallow and did not provide a good latch and therefore, not good security. He deepened the holes and now those deadbolt locks fully lock. Thanks Marc! Blue Dolphin is now our locksmith of choice for future needs. read more
