I've been coming here for a while now, it's so convenient to zip in and out when I am driving home from work or running errands. The vacuums and air blow guns are an absolute life saver, always great pressure when I come through. And if I've been spending too much time in my car the trash cans really come in clutch, and the staff do a great job of keeping up with everything, I've never had to walk to a can in another stall because one wasn't emptied. The wash itself is great, a lot of affordable options so I don't feel guilty about taking advantage of the convenience. I really have to hand it to Justin today for helping me with my payment and for offering a fantastic deal on washes for the month. I'm in grad school and working full time which has been strain on my time and my wallet, and Justin just cut me a huge break. Highly recommend! read more

Very impressed! I purchased a basic wash for $5 to get the salt off my car, but when I went through the car wash, none of the washing devices worked/moved; it just got soapy and didn't even rinse it off. Understandably, at first I was upset so I started to pull back around, but before I even got halfway back an employee proactively approached me and addressed the situation. He told me to drive back around to the start and he would get me through again. From there, the manager came out and apologized profusely for the trouble and proactively offered to give me the premium package at no additional charge. One of the biggest indicators of good customer service and customer loyalty is not "Never making a mistake", but more importantly "How are you going to address mistakes when they are made?" I have used Blue Iguana car wash on West Chestnut Expwy and always got a great wash. Yesterday I used the new one on East Kearney because it is close to my house. I purchased the works for $15, I did not get out to check the wash but hit the highway to go to Branson. When I got out of my car I was so upset- there was a bad dirt film all over the car and once the sun hit the windshield it was hard to see out. It didn't even get off the bird poop. I thought when I was going through it that the rinsing was not long enough, but this was ridiculous. It's perfect till they damage your personal property. Upon bringing the damages to their attention, they will write a report and fill out a customer contact form. Andrew at the E Sunshine location, in Springfield MO on 11/27/19 wrote my report. After 72 hours I was given no response, I tracked Andrew down for answers and was given a business card that reads, corporate office 877-748-7867. Some guy answers the phone and after explaining everything to him he says they are not required to cover any damages, whether they caused them or not. I asked for Blue Iguana's insurance contact information. So I may file a claim, he refused to provide any form of insurance. In the normal world you would file a claim, than the insurance company would review it. Doesn't effect the business, that is exactly why they have the insurance so they don't have to deal with those issues. But seeing as they refused to provide that information and given the number of reviews referring to them causing damage and not fixing it, its safe to assume they don't have any insurance. They probably have some bottom of the barrel lawyer they give free car washes to that keeps those small claims locked in a legal oblivion. Maybe it's cheaper that route, I imagine the responsible route would be more costly. To clarify so i'm not sued by some bottom of the barrel lawyer, that was an assumption not a false fact. Fact, my car was really damaged in an amount of $2421.11 according to Dents N Things. I hope people will value their property enough to avoid this place, resulting in a equal or greater loss of $2420.11 so the universe may be once again be balanced. read more

The business talks a good game about their vacuums but on my first visit there I can honestly say they well ... sucked. Multiple vacuums were disconnected from their air sources and the suction on the rest were horrible. I ended up just taking out my floor matts and shook them out. The price was good but I guess you get what you pay for. read more

I always love recommending places when it's deserved - if you ever need a car wash in Springfield I highly recommend Blue Iguana on Sunshine - I took my dad to the cardiologist appointment in Springfield recently - he had a test run and we were killing time waiting for the results. I was driving their car and noticed it could use a wash and vacuum so I headed to the nearest one which was the Blue Iguana on Sunshine. I wasn't sure where to pay and so the manager on duty (Josh) could tell I was a little lost. He came right over and helped me. I explained to him we were from Lebanon and I was taking my dad to the doctor. He explained they were a Christian owned company and then he upgraded our wash to the deluxe even though I had asked for the basic wash. Then he did the most amazing thing - he asked if he could pray over my dad! Right there in line to get our car washed! It brought both of us to tears! Then after we were done with the car wash and I was vacuuming out the car, he came over and just talked with Dad. We left there so happy and at peace! read more

On the Better Business Bureau page the owner responded saying "first time in writing " when the website itself says you can call to cancel a membership you never asked for. Totally dishonest ripoff. I am trying to connect remotely to a new job, and have to spend hours preventing further ripoffs. Never going there again. can only leave voicemail. Yet has to be in writing? Solid car wash. Decent $5 price. The autowash does a good car but did leave my side windows with a few dozen droplets. Those dry and leave water spots. It gets 95% of the job done. I'll be trying the rest of the car washes in town but this place is definitely a lot better than Mister Car Wash. read more

The website advertises self serv bays. It is not the case. They have their system set up, you are forced to buy a wash one way or the other. It is very difficult to turn around. I tried to do a basic package and their chip reader was not working. Total waste of time and I will have to check online banking to make sure they didn't charge afterall. read more

Update for my review below. I still think it's a great car wash but I do wish they had told me the flower I had my antenna could cause damage. I've gone through 3Xs and never once did they tell me. It snapped my antenna right off. Bummer. In their defense I DO see they have signs up not responsible for antennas wiper blades etc. I also know because a business posts a sign saying there not responsible doesn't mean they're not responsible should an issue be taken to court. However, this was a $25 repair so before my subscription renews I will pause my subscription for one month (this month cost only a penny to try it out for a month so be sure I'll use the heck out of it for one month) so they WILL pay for it by losing my subscription for one month. My new antenna is bendable rubber so it will not be an issue in the future. Actually it cost them TWO subscriptions because my dad was going to sign up on Wednesday for "the works" subscription but now he's decided against it. Hey, these things happen. I'm not upset. It wasn't really their machinery but they're negligence in informing me of the potential for my flower to get hung up. Miss it once sure but three times is negligence on their part. But just in case my new antenna can be unscrewed before hand. So I'll use my 1 cent subscription often this month then pause my subscription for a month which will cost them $29.99. My car is garaged so one month without a bath no big deal at all. They could have replaced my antenna for $25 or lose $60 in business. They chose lose $60 in business and since my dad decided against subscribing because of this situation they will continue to lose $29.99 a month every month thereafter. I can't give them 5 stars for business sense but that's none of my business. read more

Staff should assist when the driver pulls up. Not walk over after you've already selected you wash and have already done everything yourself. Also, keep you dumb attitude at home. Customers should be appreciated not treated like an inconvenience to you screen time while on the job. read more

I use the self-service five dollar car wash here today. I washed my car several times a week and it is Garage kept so it's never very dirty. This car wash is relatively new, built within the past year. I was so completely disgusted and disappointed in the performance of this car wash. I don't know if they have diluted their chemicals to the point of them not being effective or if they just use crappy chemicals. But I had to wash my car and then re-wash it two more times to get it clean. They don't have a wax option available. only something called "clear coat" which has no description whatsoever as to what it is or at what point you are supposed to use it.... It just says, apply it to the whole vehicle and then rinse off the excess. Another super awesome (note my thick tone of sarcasm) feature is what they call "express dry". which is something that looks like a shop vac hose that a person could use a hairdryer, and it would have more effectiveness. And the icing on the cake? This express dryer set up doesn't even have a handle or nozzle on the end of it. It's just a pose with no end to it or nothing to hang onto. I literally could have blown on it with the air in my lungs and had more psi than this thing. Finally gave up on getting the exterior truly clean and pulled out to the vacuum station. The vacuums only have the large floor, vacuuming attachment, and no crevice tools so that you can get into the nooks and crannies and smaller spaces to vacuum. Most car washes with this type set up have one floor attachment on one side and then a crevice tool attachment on the other side so it alternates floor tool, crevice tool floor tool, crevice tool. But not this dump... I don't know how a brand new car wash such as this one could be so clueless in their set up, and just really truly not well planned. They try to make up for their shortcomings by providing drying cloths and crappy Windex, as well as their truly ineffective floor mat cleaning apparatus but it's a poor excuse for substitution. There have been three other car wash franchises build brand new car washes within a couple of miles of this place that do 1 million times better job without having to work your Hiney off to get your car clean. One of them costs less than blue iguanas self serve option, but it is a drive-through and there are two other drive-through car washes that cost more than blue iguana, but are 100% more effective. This may have to do with the management of this particular blue iguana or just blue iguana in general... I quit going to the drive-through option of blue iguana when they raise their prices. Two years ago from three dollars to five dollars and then didn't improve the quality of the wash. I just figured if I was doing the washing myself rather than depending on some spinning brushes, it would do an OK job, but I was wrong. I will be paying a little bit more money and taking my business to McBees coffee and car wash on West Kearney 2 miles away from this crappy blue iguana from now on . It is most definitely the best drive-through car wash I have ever been to in my whole life and definitely in the life of my car. Plus, the workers are super nice, polite, and professional. You need to learn from the McBees car wash chain, blue iguana. And maybe stop building so many new locations and worry about quality rather than quantity. read more

New black car? Do not go there! Well I look up online and see the buy1 get 1 wash deal so I decided to give it a try. My car is new and got wax on it has couple light scratches on the side. I read the review and I tried to make sure I got the receipt so I can use promotion code for free car wash(last 30 days). There is a bug station. Not all the vacuum has strong suction so I have to move my car to the one that works. The attendance was nice and give me a good instruction to get next free wash. It's seem too good to be true right? I cam home check on my car and there were scratches everywhere some on the side as well. This makes me want to cry I paid $15 for the wash and then hundreds of dollar to remove the scratches. I guess I won't get to use the free wash. read more

Prices are reasonable for a drive through car wash, and the hours seem to be longer than another car wash in town, so we will definitely be back the next time we need a car wash. read more

I've used the wash for some time and get the best results of the ones i've tried. Howerver, at the Kiosk I was given a choice to purchase a car wash for 15.00 and get the next free. I selected that one. On my return I punched in the number for my wash and was denied. The fine print on my receipt I received AFTER my initial purchase told me I had to use it within 30 days. If that detail had been given me before my purchase then I wouldn't have a beef. It wasn't and they owe me a wash in my opinion. I went to the web site and tried to use the contact dropdown but their site wouldn't let me send my message. I feel I've been screwed. Buyer beware. I would avoid this place. On Wed., 3/2/22, I purchased the $20 wash at Blue Iguana on E Sunshine. About half way through the car wash, the SUV in front of me went off the tracks and got stuck. Blue Iguana failed to shut down the car wash and the car wash forced my car into that SUV. The car wash then forced the car behind me into my back bumper. Blue Iguana ordered the driver of the SUV to back up to get back on track and she backed into me. Once we were finally out of the car wash, the driver of the SUV and I stood outside for about an hour while the employee got our information and did an incident report. Blue Iguana did not get or provide any insurance information. A manager called me on Sat., 3/5/22, and said they had determined that the SUV in front was at fault. He did not explain how or why they reached that conclusion. Furthermore, he said that I needed to contact the other driver, get her insurance info, and file a claim with her insurance company. However, they never provided her information. That is unacceptable to me. From a legal standpoint, the car wash is at least partially at fault due to the negligence of their employees and the car wash itself. Given the facts, I'm 100% sure that I'm not at fault. But, now I'm having to clean up the mess. When the manager called me, I requested a copy of all of the documentation that they had from the incident, as well as the contact information for the other driver. He said that he would email the information to me, which he never did. I followed up with phone calls on 3/7/22 and 3/8/22 and left multiple messages (one with a person and two on a "corporate" voicemail). No one ever returned my call. It should be noted that I also requested a refund. The manager said, "Of course we'll give you a refund." But, alas, no refund. In summary, their conclusion was that the other driver was at fault and I needed to file a claim on her insurance. But, they never even provided me her information. I sent a demand letter on 3/9/22 through their registered agent. They never responded. My car was damaged due to their negligence. I paid for a "premium car wash." I left with a wrecked car that was still dirty. Rather than refunding my money and fixing my car, they are simply ignoring me and stonewalling. This is atrocious customer service. So I've always used blue iguana so much that I got the membership. Washed my truck at least twice a week if not more. I bought a brand new black gmc 2500 and had it through the car wash probably 10 times when on Sunday 10/03/21 this car wash completely scratched both sides of my truck. Thousands of small scratches all the way down bot sides. I didn't see it right away because I just went through wash and drove on home. When I got out at my house it was so obvious it had been scratched. So I went back to the wash to cancel my membership and the attendant asked do you want to file a claim? He said man it's obvious it's all scratched and the same on both sides. He told me "my managers are really good about taking care of problems like this" this young man was super helpful and respectful and told me they would be in contact within 72 hours. Well on the fourth day I finally received a phone call and the manager of that specific location told me that they reviewed their cameras and there were no scratches going in the tunnel or coming out of the tunnel so there was nothing they could do about it. So if there were no scratches goin in then i guess that means I drove across down somewhere and paid to get my truck scratched up at another car wash even though I had a membership to blue iguana then to come back and blame it on blue iguana because remember she said no scratches goin IN or out. The scratches came from somewhere because the attendant agreed with me it was scratched and scratched bad. Back to the phone call she told me your truck wasn't scratched in our tunnel therefore we can do nothing about the scratches. I said so I guess im going to have to hire a lawyer and she said yep! So I got in the truck and drove to the sunshine location all the while I'm trying to get Ahold of somebody at their main number with no luck I had to leave a voicemail that was never returned. I could tell just as soon as I saw this lady that part of her job was definitely not accepting responsibility for the damages that car wash had done. She had this smirk on her face like yeah I deal with people like you everyday and yeah we aren't gonna do a damn thing for you. So she acknowledges that the truck was scratched after I made her look at it, at first she walked up to it and said yep never even looked at it. She offered me a business card with her bosses number which was the one I had already called and left a message on with still no reply because he/she is a coward that knows the car wash is a POS and scratches vehicles all the time im sure. So she was a complete idiot about it never apologized or offered a refund nothing just said it didn't happen there. You know if I was so certain that my car wash didn't damage vehicles I would do my best to convince the customer and prove to them and then try and keep them as a customer but she knew as well as me that it was scratched in that car wash because I'm sure it happens all the time and it was the easiest to basically tell me to go pound sand And hope I went peacefully and quietly. That's not happening!! So here I am with a black 2022 GMC Sierra less than 4000 miles scratched all to hell by blue iguana on sunshine in Springfield mo on 10/03/2021 at 2:45 pm. On 10/22/16 I decided to try the more expensive $15 wash. I had only used the $3 touch up in the past and never had any problems. The $15 wash was noticeable louder and seemingly more abrasive to my car. After pulling away I realized the antenna had been torn off my 2014 Toyota Tacoma. I immediately returned to the wash and explained what had occurred. I was asked to fill out a damage claim report and provide my insurance information, which I did. I asked the attendant to be straight forward w/ me and tell me what to expect from here. He stated that the car wash had discussed in a recent meeting that a brush in the wash had been breaking the antenna on Toyota and Nissan trucks. He stated that they are supposed to be turning off a specific brush for thes vehicles, but may have forgotten to do so. I asked that they also view the surveillance camera that would show my antenna intact prior to entering the wash. He stated that would all be taken into consideration and my claim would be covered by the wash under the circumstances. He advised me that I would be contacted regarding the claim within 72 hours of the incident. It's now 11/7/16 and I have yet to receive a phone call or email from anyone. I have emailed and left voicemails at their corporate office. Still nothing. I hope this review will serve 2 purposes: One by serving to reach someone w/ Blue Iguana that has the courtesy to contact me regarding the damage to my vehicle, and two by informing consumers of what kind of customer service to expect when dealing w/ this company. read more
