I did a 1 time car wash in December and they repeatedly charged my card monthly. I called with no response until I disputed the charge and heard back with no resolution to the repeated charges, no refund and after numerous emails they finally said they will cancel after next month. Mister car wash on N Kansas Expressway Springfield Missouri. Had a free base wash coupon. Attendants were friendly. The wash itself is ok. But I couldn't find any vacuum cleaners that were working . Unlike Blue Iguana mister does not provide any cleaning/drying cloths or glass cleaner. At least not at this location. So my car went home wet and dirty on the inside and I had to use my own vacuum and supplies to finish the job at home. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!! We purchased a "Premium" service and paid in advance for a tip because we needed to get the salt off our new vehicle. They ran the truck through the wash and only (one quick swipe) washed one side of the wheelwells and didn't touch any part of the undercarriage. When they were done, we went to get in and the mats were still dirty. To get the mats washed, we were told it was an extra $2 PER mat!!! This location is the best one. Keith I believe helped me out with such kindness as well as being very informative; much better than the Glenstone location. The GM at Glenstone William needs customer service training. I called up there after having left a mat. His reception decided not to go out or relay information just telling me it was not there and probably stolen or thrown away, mind you she's on walkie. So I drove up. It's still right there. William decides to debate me on on the price of a mat, a discrepancy of $10. No apologies for anything. What a joke. But this location is the jam. I took my 2002Mustang cobra to the Mr. car wash on glenstone Paid for the unlimited wash. Went through the car wash exited got out to look at my car and it was still dirty. junk all over the wheels. The driver side still had mud splatters down the side. I didn't pay 30 some dollars for my car to not be clean. I went right back through the wash and told the attendant that I was not happy about it so he sent me back through a 2nd time. It was a little better but my chrome wheels were still dirty and still had spots on my car. I am not happy with the service I got. I could have washed it with dirty water and got it cleaner. And it wasted 20 minutes of my time. read more

It had to send it back 3 times to be re-vacuumed - driver carpet, back, cup holders. I don't expect perfectly, detailed clean, but I do expect small pine needles, and loose dirt to be vacuumed. Horribly disappointed! Paid $36 for premium wash, from the time I got out of my truck until it was in the line to be washed took 35 minutes. The outside wash wasn't horrible and they did a decent job wiping down my dash. My floor mats weren't cleaned, cup holder's weren't wiped out and none of the door posts or door panels were wiped down. (I have a full cab four door truck). I'll never pay for the full service package again, I'll drive through occasionally but I'll save the money between a regular wash and the full service and have my truck detailed more often by a professional detail service. We signed up for membership with this company and at the outset of COVID they instructed us they would discontinue payments and wait for us to stop by to reinitiate payments. We never came back and they have charged us for every month since; we requested a refund and they said that it was our responsibility to reconcile our bank statements, but they aren't paying us to be part of their control environment. This sunshine location is so inconsistent! Sometimes that clean off the front part of my car and sometimes not. I went to get my car washed when they were very slow... no one before me . The guy at the beginning of the car wash didn't even touch my windshield which was filled with bugs since I had traveled 9 hours and desperately needed cleaning! Not sure that I will go back. Have been going to Mister Car Wash for years and finally Joined the unlimited car wash plan several months ago. Two weeks ago, I pulled through and stopped to pick up towels to wipe down my vehicle. I was told I couldn't park where I did and was told I could only use the dirty towels they had. I spoke with the manager and he told me this wasn't a service they were going to provide anymore. They used to wipe down your vehicle. Then they put in a roller dryer (that doesn't work on large SUV's) and would let you wipe down your own vehicle. Now they don't provide towels. I really like this place, I don't know why it has such low reviews. I always get the $49.99 package with the $10.00 interior wash upgrade. I have a 4 year old boy who wreaks havoc upon my car; Crumbs, artwork, glittery projects from school, morning toast for breakfast, etc. My car always ends up amazingly clean. I have been a loyal customer to Auto Magic/Mister Car Wash for decades, pay them religiously $70/month for the club, go through maybe twice in a busy week, but sometimes not even once in a week, but always go there and have actually gotten to know a number of employees there over the years. The reason for this review is that I am a car dealer the deals in exotic cars but I have a car that I drive daily that I use my membership for to keep it clean. Now obviously I am not going to take my exotic cars through a car wash, so needless to say I am not running my inventory through Mister Car Wash, simply my SUV that I buy to get around in. When I signed up for the club years ago I told the person selling the membership this exact scenario and explained that the car I drive is obviously always for sale so the car coming through would change regularly and was told that was fine, they understood the situation and they proceeded to charge my credit card $70/month for years with no problem at all. Well this week was a rare week where I actually sold my daily driver and had to drive something new today so I took the car though the car wash that was different from the car I took through yesterday, happens maybe once every few months, hardly a regular occurrence, but it did happen. Just received a phone call from someone at the car wash informing me that I cannot switch cars and use my membership, after years and years of being a loyal customer, never abusing the system, they told me my membership is no longer valid! They also informed me because I had already used the car wash this month they would not refund my $70, so basically I paid $70 for 4 days! At the end I was trying to get car into drive from neutral and the guy behind me is blaring his horn cause he is inches from hitting me cause he is on moving belt and had no control. After paying $32.99 per month for several months, I asked my wife why she was washing her car so much and she said she hadn't been there in the last year. We had purchased a 100.00 gift card to have our daughters car detailed. Initially they told us it would take 3-4 hours, so we planned to leave the car. We are an hour from Springfield and drove two cars up with the intention of running errands while the car got detailed. When we left the car they told us the price had gone up and it would be $5 more so I added that to the gift card. They even said the car didn't look too dirty. Within an hour they called us saying the car was done. When we checked it over it had not been vacuum throughly, there still was dirt and dust in the car door pockets, cup holders, the mat in the back had not been washed or vacuum. Usually I don't have a problem with Mr. car wash. But this location is a whole different story. I just went through the car wash, and I understand if they put tape on the back windshield from time to time to hold down the wiper. These people went a little over an above, in used duct tape to hold it down. Left a nice little sticky mess on my plate and on my on my back window. I asked why they used it, instead of just regular tape, and they said they were out of the other stuff. Anybody who knows anything knows the duct tape does not come off of cars very easily specially after they been wet. read more

When I was traveling from D.C. to CA I began to have troubles with my windshield fluid. I called Mister Lube Express from the highway one hour before closing time. I told them my story and how I had a 100 lbs dog that would need to wait with me. They told me to come on by and they were so friendly. My antenna came out of the car wash bent sideways. The mgr attempted to bend it back and broke it off. Ordered a new antenna and said they would call me in two days. They did not call. I called Friday, no answer and left a message to call me. Did not receive a return call. I called again on Tuesday, no answer and left a message. They still did not call me. I went to the carwash on Thursday and they had the antenna but could not install it, so they sent me to my mechanic. My mechanic attempted to call them to approve payment. Today at 10:20 I came into the 1737 Kansas Expy Springfield mo location and I didn't have my bank card on me, only had cash. The gate attendant told me that the machine is only excepting cards and I only had cash he offered me a free vacuum since I couldn't wash my car and I told him no thanks it's OK I will come back another day with my card as I was backing up to leave he got on the radio and said we have a ""fucking retard here trying to leave", and kept running his mouth to somebody on the radio as I was backing up I stoped my vehicle to confront him and ask him if we have a problem that I'm leaving and didn't have my bank card on me and he just kept running his mouth and cussing at me. I understand if I was running my mouth or cussing him out but I said nothing to him or about the machine only taking cards. I was very understanding about the issue since it wasn't his fault.
