My experience with Linda Desai and the lemon drop team was amazing. I had a very last minute wedding with less than 6 months of time to plan it. I would say I considered really hard whether or not a planner was worth it and alot of my friends were saying I could definitely plan it myself along with the venue coordinator. However I have zero regrets hiring the lemon drop team. I do believe that without this team I would not have been able to fully enjoy my wedding as much as I did. It sounds a little cheesy but the day went almost perfect which is not at all what I was expecting. I think without this team I would've been a chaotic mess of a bride the day of. She made sure I was where I needed to be at all times without being pushy if that makes sense. I was lucky enough to work with Linda and her team for my wedding. Linda was the day of coordinator for my sister's wedding and I was so impressed by her that I also wanted to work with her for my wedding! At first my husband and I weren't sure about needing a day of coordinator but after our first meeting with Linda, we knew it was the best decision we made. Linda helped us work through our very tight timelines and provided recommendations around when to allocate more or less time. She also worked with all of our vendors ahead of time to ensure they understand what to do on the day of our wedding. Linda is incredibly responsive and organized which gave me piece of mind in the chaotic weeks leading up to the wedding. During the rehearsal, she was pivotal in coordinating how we all file in, where everyone stood/sat which sounds like a small component but her expertise showed through every time we had overlooked something in the day. On the day of my wedding, my mom forgot tea for our Chinese tea ceremony (pretty critical piece of the ceremony) and Linda immediately offered a solution and I didn't have to worry because I knew I could count on Linda to save the day. I'm sure there were a dozen other fire drills Linda had to deal with that I didn't even know about and that's part of the beauty of working with her. Linda is absolutely amazing! You will not regret it if you have her and her team helping you out on your big day. For example, I was missing the groom's boutonnière, and I didn't even find out it was missing until the next day because she made one out of flowers she had on hand! The day was super busy, but Linda took the time to make sure I'm well hydrated/ate some stuff, and also checked in with my bridesmaids and family as well. Her presence alone was all I needed to not be nervous or anxious because I knew that things would go smoothly regardless. The day would've been stressful and would not have gone the way it did without Linda. I hired her as a day of coordinator but for the last year and half, she has checked in with me monthly and answered any and all questions I had. Linda is incredible! You won't find a harder working wedding planner. She is very communicative with her clients AND the vendor team. She keeps us all on track and takes the lead without overwhelming us with the details. She's SO nice too. She is the perfect blend of authoritative/professional and friendly/kind/adorable. Now that the dust has settled, I have time to sit down and write a proper review because Linda and her Lemon drop team deserves nothing short of an in depth amazing review. I want to start off by letting people know that Joel & I had every intention of planning our wedding all by ourselves. But living in Florida and wanting to have the wedding in Boston, it was quite the challenge. At one point, it got so frustrating that we consider not even doing a wedding at all and maybe just eloping. That was when I suggested Linda & Her lemondropteam since my best friend hired her as her day of coordinator. Let me tell you that was the best decision we made while planning our wedding. Not only was Linda on point and kept everything running smoothly on our special day, throughout the planning process leading up to the wedding, every single time I emailed her about anything, she would get back to be right away. Any questions I asked, she had the answer. Sometimes we needed some professional opinion on stuff we couldn't decide on and Linda was there to give us great information for us to make a decision. She gave us excellent recommendations on vendors and was very respectful of our budget. We held our reception at a Chinese restaurant and there were some communication issues due to language differences and Linda was there to help translate everything for us! On the day of the wedding, my daughter ripped her dress and Linda was there with thread and needle! At the reception, some guests still needed envelopes for the money gift and she had some to give to them! I gave her 250 name cards and she set it up and arrange a beautiful welcome table for it. Her team set up my centerpieces with decorative touches on all the tables. Everything looked amazing!! I really believe she is more then just the day of coordinator. Also, her staff who assisted her with the wedding day was extremely helpful and very nice! Thank you so much for everything you did for us! I was lucky to be introduced to Linda and her team because of a mutual friend. Linda is so amazing. I was able to plan my wedding in less than a year and somehow she was able to take my chaotic planning and turn it into the wedding of my dreams. Linda is so communicative - I emailed her with every little question, and she will check in monthly if she doesn't hear from me. Covid sucks, and as a result there were a lot of back and forth with our guest list, and she was on top of it with communicating with our venue and catering. Alecia was our day of coordinator and she was so in-tuned with what we (bride +groom) wanted before we would even say anything. Alecia + Linda are basically the reasons why I was able to remain so relaxed throughout the entire wedding planning process and the wedding day. (I had my Chinese banquet the next day without them, and let me tell you - stress was too real). I recommend this team 1000%. If you're on the fence on getting a wedding coordinator, definitely get one! Lemon Drop Team is definitely money well spent. read more

Linda helped me plan my Henna party and my Wedding in July. Both were 200 people events. I hired Linda as my day of coordinator as I needed someone that I could bounce ideas off of during the planning process and also get advice. She was extremely helpful with budgeting, contacting vendors and venues. She was very organized and helped me stay on track with my wedding timeline. Linda was always offering to help from florals to stage decor, basically anything I was getting stressed over. Linda is really sweet, kind, attentive, patient and detail-oriented. We hired the Lemon Drop Team to help coordinate our wedding on 8/8 at Elm Bank in Wellesley. Linda did a fantastic job. There were so many moving parts to our wedding but her team was super organized. She was in complete control of everything she could be in control of. Our guitarist was late and the next thing we knew we saw Linda drive by with a car following (the guitarist). She basically drove out to find this guy and brought him back directly to the ceremony site. Amazing. It wasn't JUST the day of coordinating ... When we had trouble finding certain vendors, Linda had great suggestions. She met with us before the wedding to run down the list of vendors and schedule for the vendors on our wedding day. We wouldn't have enjoyed our wedding if it wasn't for Linda and her team. Highly recommended. read more

My husband & I hired Lemon Drop Team to help coordinate our wedding on 6/9/18. Linda and her team were amazing. We live out in Seattle, but were trying to plan a wedding in my hometown of Boston. Linda checked in with us monthly and made it easier to plan our wedding from the opposite coast. She also took over coordination with our vendors about a month before our wedding date, which helped with the stress level greatly. Linda made the day go by so smoothly. We had a traditional tea ceremony in the morning and a Chinese banquet at Ming's Seafood Restaurant. She did an amazing job designing our dessert table. I was a maid of honor for my best friend that lives out of state but was having a wedding in Boston. Because I follow wedding related accounts on Instagram, I was able to find Lemon Drop Team and told my friend to consider them as a wedding coordinator for her. She agreed and we contacted Linda from Lemon Drop Team and she replied back right away. She was so helpful in helping my friend choose which vendors to use and was honest about which ones are good but pricey. I met with Linda mostly since my friend is out of state and I acted as a messenger for both Linda and my friend. Linda never made me feel rushed whenever I had to be in contact with my friend and her fiance during our meet ups. Even though I wasn't the one getting married, I felt so stressed and overwhelmed but Linda was able to handle everything! She might as well be my friend's maid of honor! I will definitely recommend Lemon Drop Team as anyone's wedding coordinator and hopefully I will be able to use her myself in the future. read more

Linda was amazing. We couldn't have gotten through our wedding day without her. She was my day-of-coordinator (note, she is not a wedding planner). It started to pour in the middle of our August outdoor cocktail reception and she organized all of the vendors and guests to move to a tented and indoor location. The groom and I got stranded under an awning in the downpour while taking pictures, and she helped to mobilize to come get us with a golf cart. It was crazy. She really took over on the day of the wedding and made sure all of the vendors were coordinated. The groom and I got ready in separate location, then the church was another location, and the reception was yet another location. We had several different vendors for food and alcohol, so this definitely wasn't an easy wedding. Linda handled it like a pro and had two assistants with her to help. We sat down and came up with a detailed timeline a couple of weeks before the wedding and she came to the rehearsal at the church. The only thing I would have done differently is to have met and hashed out the timeline with Linda earlier. I think this would have helped the vendors since we had so many different ones. But I live out of state, so it wasn't easy to coordinate meeting earlier. If I had to do the wedding all over again, I would hire Linda in a heartbeat. She is friendly and professional and never lost her cool, which is really important on a stressful day. Can't recommend her more. read more

I could spend pages regaling you with examples of how amazing Linda is, but in the interest of keeping this readable I will say, amongst all the vendors we worked with, by far and away the best money we spent when planning our wedding was when we hired Linda. As a husband to be forced into the planning of a wedding Linda's help, expertise, and just general awesomeness were an amazing help. Our wedding was perfect down to every detail and I can say with absolute certainty that it was due in large part to Linda. When my wife (now) and I first contacted Linda we were originally looking for a full on wedding planner. The whole kit and caboodle. Neither of us was particularly interested in planning a wedding, and paying someone to do all that work seemed like an awesome idea. Linda let us know that her and her team were a 'Day of' Wedding planning service, which initially made us hesitant. I thought if we managed to get to the day, a planner wouldn't really be necessary. I only mention this in case anyone reading is thinking the same. I can tell you unequivocally that Linda was exactly what we needed. Not only did she maintain the details of the day and take all stress from us during that day which allowed us to fully enjoy our special day, but in the year or so leading up to our wedding she was in frequent contact (and always available when we needed her) helping us through the various details of a successful wedding. Even if you have the majority of your day planned out from various things you have picked up throughout your life, I can tell you the best thing you could do is to hire Linda to coordinate your wedding. She is the perfect person to help you make your dreams come true, or even better come up with some amazing dreams if you happen to enter without any of your own. And on the day she makes everything so seamless, I went in expecting to get torn to shreds trying to keep it all together (a band and a DJ...she just had to have them both!!!) but Linda made it so I could just enjoy the day with our family which was the best part of all. Linda and Lemon Drop Team were excellent from the start! We hosted our wedding at a venue that was somewhat nontraditional and I felt a little overwhelmed with the lack of structure and decided to search for a Day of Coordinator. Luckily we found Linda! From the start she was always prompt with answering any emails and questions I had. She was a great neutral party to help with decision making. Linda really shined of course the 4 weeks leading up to our wedding taking over the juggling of our multiple vendors and timeline. She really executed my day just how we had planned. My day was practically flawless, when we did have small hiccups in plans Linda swept in to save the day so no one but her and I noticed. I also have to add that she did a fabulous job conducting our rehearsal ceremony (we also did not have a traditional wedding officiant) . I love Linda!!! She's not only a great friend, but an awesome day of coordinator and more. Linda helped me from beginning to end. She has given me so much great advice and has been such a great help with everything I've done along the way, I would ask her for feedback on anything I was unsure about. I didn't feel too crazy with all the million of questions I had for her. She would reassure me and let me know that it's okay. She was there for me and continues to be there! She gave me great suggestions/recommendations, for examples my favors. I wanted macarons, but I didn't want to spend a crazy amount of money on them. She recommended me to Ever Sweet Pastry Boutique and I could not have been happier. The macarons were delicious and the owner was so great to work with! As my day got closer, I had to ask Linda a few last minute things that needed to be taken care of on the wedding day. Linda delivered and was happy to take care of all my concerns. She tied my flower decorations on the chairs set up for my ceremony and spread petals along the aisle just as I wanted. My reception room came out so beautiful and better than what I envisioned. She also put the cake topper on my cake! Linda made sure all my requests were met and took great care of me on wedding day. I don't know what I would have done without Linda. She was there whenever I needed her and made sure my day was as perfect as can be. Almost everything was on time. You will not be disappointed. Linda is awesome at what she does. read more
