Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. We rented the private deck area with good views of the lagoon and covered seating. A bbq grill is set here and around the property. Remember no glass items allowed in this farm and there are trash cans everywhere to keep it clean. The lagoon is man made and super cool..It has a sand bottome and picturesque views everywhere. There are decks all around so feel free to jump in. You can bring your own food and drinks but just in case there's a great food truck on site that has delicious food for all. So even vegans and meat eaters can enjoy tasty dishes. The owners are there to lead you where to park and guide you where to purchase tickets. There are 2 bathrooms on site and even an open shower. It's $20 for the day and with the wristband you can come and go as you please. There's so many places to sit and enjoy some food. I would bring everything you need with you. Way down in Homestead, FL., you'll find this really cool place called Blue Lagoon Farm (BLF). It's a five acre tropical escape with a beautiful green lagoon (supposedly spring fed) that was created out of coral rock. Water trickles down the coral rock walls which are covered in natural foliage and the surrounding area offers you different views of this truly scenic gem that the whole family can enjoy. Plenty of shade is provide by the abundance of trees. There are many seating areas ranging in size available around the lagoon. Some of the larger areas have bbq grills. We went to the BLF on a Sunday for a party and it was really nice but hot. The host rented the large tiki hut in the front which was really nice. Another nice feature is that your able to bring your own food & beverages but not glass only cans. It suggested that you rent an area prior to coming to ensure you have a place sit. The kids had a blast swing and floating around the lagoon but the best part was jumping off of various designated jumping areas into the lagoon. Note - there are NO lifeguards which I'm okay with but would suggest keeping an eye on your kids. As you can imagine, if too many kids are jumping off the little cliffs there is bound to be an injury. Also it can become very slippery so bring some good water shoes. The bathrooms were very clean and the staff was very nice & helpful. Apparently there is a small farm on the property not sure if you're allowed to go see /pet the animals but if the wind blows right the pleasant odor reminds you of their presence. I wanted to ask the owner if the water was checked or treated on a regular basis but it slipped my mind. When I see all those people in that large toilet bowl I can't help but to think man I hope they check the water. BLF was a great experience and we all had a good time. I think next time if we go I'll try to go during the week hoping to miss the weekend clientele read more

Beautiful views. Cool and refreshing water. Happy we went on a day where it was not a lot of people. A little pricey to get in for 20pp but I think it's worth it since you can stay all day. You cannot bring food but you can bring your beverages. BYOB. So plan accordingly. The food is fast food from a food truck. The floor is a bit rocky so wear some water shoes for comfort. We expected a more relaxing scene but the lake is extremely difficult to get down into without slipping on the rocks, the water is cloudy so you can't see how deep it is before jumping in, the atmosphere is very loud with blasting music and smoking. It seems fun for families or groups of teens but overall is was a very overstimulating and loud experience. They only have 2 bathrooms outdoors and it gets very crowded here. It cost $20 per person to get in so it was not worth it for us. My mom and I couldn't even make it down the steps comfortably. Edit: while we were there, my sister also noticed men pouring their beers into the water. Very disgusting. We also wish that they would let you see the spring before paying for entry. When we went, it was too crowded to find a place to sit by the water, and the smell of smoke was strong. If we saw how crowded it was, we would've decided not to stay and saved $60. read more

Beautiful place but the owner (Wife, not husband) needs better communication skills. I did not have issues with her personally but I saw how she was speaking to the people keeping her property running (the guests!) and it is just awful. I've worked in the service industry for countless years and that is not how you talk to someone who is contributing to your income. No one cares if you are the owner of the property, you don't disrespect and belittle others you have openly invited to your home and are charging them money to be there. Came here for a friend's birthday party. I felt the staff was very careless and low class. The farm was deteriorated and the animals in the barn are living in poor conditions. There was a fight in the middle of the Lagoon with the owner, where the police were involved. It is INFESTED with mosquitos. Yes, they did have those bags/containers everywhere that trap the mosquitoes inside but clearly that's not enough. I have been to plenty of farms in Homestead and frequent fumigation takes care of this. It also just smelled like SHIT! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!! Update: As you see, the owners response to my honest review is very "educated". Don't claim a business if you cannot handle constructive criticism. From my understanding, your paying customer asked you to not fumigate in front of her and her kids faces. Unfortunately, I did not continue to listen or hang around during your physical altercation as I do not want my children to see a man (you) put his hands on a women, but thank you for "clearing up" the situation. I am glad you also smell the shit, with more reason, the least you can do is change the "fly trap" when needed. Your poor animals are skittish, they must be traumatized from someone. The only animals "free ranged" were your goats. Do YOU know what free range means? In addition, nowhere did I say my children did not have a good time swimming in the Lagoon but cant deny that there is room for improvement. I reserved one of the areas for my birthday and had 10 people join. This is our experience: Parking: arrived at 11 and there was a line for parking and we waited about 30 minutes to park. We carpooled in 3 vehicles and jad to park in a way so that we were blocking each other. Inconvenient but ok. Area: I reserved the "front" area. It was a bit rough looking and the ground is VERY uneven and rocky. This is very painful under foot. You need to wear shoes, which sucks because it's a pool area. You need water shoes. I can't emphasize enough how painful and uneven the ground is. I understand the venue is also a farm, but the overall impression is very ragged and unorganized. Definitely not worth the $400 I spent to reserve a handful of picnic tables. Pool: Gross. Deep. Uneven. The bottom of the pool is jagged limestone. It is sharp and unpredictable in terms of depth. Most of the lagoon is super deep and you will not be able to stand. I'm a strong swimmer but I almost panicked because I didn't know what areas were shallow enough to stand. Even if you accidentally find a spot that is shallow by hurting your foot on an edge there are loose rocks (not sand, like large loose gravel) on the bottom. You need water shoes. Actually, you need to NOT go here. The water is murky, but its not a big deal. The rock ledges that you can sit on are covered in algae and really gross and slippery. I felt really gross sitting on the edge and couldn't find enough of a smooth surface for my butt. The waterfalls are pretty, but that's about it. The steps to get in the pool are really large, uneven, and dangerous. Again, I'm an able-bodied person, and I had a hard time literally climbing the steps using my hands. Really rough terrain all around. I'm so incredibly disappointed in my experience, especially given the expensive price tag. This place is an accident waiting to happen, I guess that's why there are so many "at your own risk" signs but the conditions gets really close to being gross negligence. read more

Even here twice and both times had an amazing time with family and friends. Staff is extremely welcoming and nice. You are able to rent cabanas , tables, etc... Me and my family rented the space for 30 i believe which was $400. You get your own grill, domino table and more than enough tables and chairs for everyone and was located right by the lagoon with a great view and near the bathrooms. This is a family oriented place where you can come and have a great time, eat food, listen to music and cool off in the blue lagoon. I only have 1 negative comment about Blue Lagoon Farm... the flies that were in our section was just out of control. I've never seen so many flies ever at a bbq lol. We had paper plates with water and slices of watermelon on it which helped very little kill the flies and each paper plate had about 20-30 dead flies on them. Idk if there's anything that can be done to control that but if you find a way that would help other than that i love this place. The only reason i didn't give a 5 star rating were bc of the flies. read more

Awesome place. It's a must. Beautiful scenery. Looks and feels like you're swimming off an island somewhere. Nice cool water on a hot day. Food truck available incase you get hungry or thirsty. Owner is awesome. Very nice guy. I came the first time a few days ago and had to go back and went again today. Will definitely be back many times. Only $20 to get in to spend the whole day. One of homesteads best kept secrets. Went on a Monday place had a few people but nothing unbearable. Took my two girls and they literally told me "this is so much fun". I called Tanya and told her I forgot to go to the ATM and she accepts Apple Pay so saved me a trip back. They had plenty of life jackets for rent and the water looked clean as well. Lots of tables with umbrellas and shade. All I'm all the place is awesome and I can't wait to bring the rest of the family. No drunk ppl, and even if they were everyone was friendly.
