A hidden gem! Close to the Everglades. Friendly staff and peaceful atmosphere where anyone can reconnect to nature.

Stepping out onto the porch, the view was phenomenal: lush, verdant landscape of fruit trees, herb beds, tall grasses, flowers.

Not out of this world but typical for a place that includes catering as part of a package. It's a very lovely venue. But there were some things that could have been better. Also when they were serving hors d'oeuvres there was no organization. You should send two out with the same item and one to the front of the room and one to the back. And get bigger trays. 5 a pop with a couple hundred guests is not realistic. As it was the front few tables got all the hors d'oeuvres and the back of the room got nothing. Just a tip there. They should have the reception area indoors. There are no pros to eating outside in south Florida. It's also a farm so when the breeze blows a certain way you get a whiff of the barnyard animals manure. 2. The servers were nice but all over the place. They should've assigned a server to each table. That way the food would be served in a more timely manner and no one would get neglected. 3.) the tables were crammed together making it hard to see what was going on, making hard to get in and out for the guests and the servers. Since they had farm tables and not round tables, conversation among the guests was nearly impossible. And if you were sitting across from little kids you got no conversation. 4.) they had to have big huge fans blasting on the guests to keep the heat down and the bugs away. Too much noise and when you have a fan blasting on you for half an event it's not so great for your respiratory system. I would advise that they inclose the reception area with a tent or something. I saw a very beautiful tent reception area at one of the other ranches in the Redlands that offers the same services. You were able to put soft background music on, no fans because there was ac. And the guests were able to sit at round tables so they could socialize. The tables were spaced so they could get up when needed or turn their chair to see. I also advise hiring someone who speaks English. No one there spoke English. Kinda hard for people who don't speak Spanish. Also, in their cabin they have the dance floor and the pre wedding area etc. They need more lighting when there is dancing because their seating is not safe. At least have enough lighting so people can see where they're sitting. When it's pitch black and you think you're sitting on the bench but there no bench because they weirdly leave gaping spaces, it's not very safe. Those are the reasons I give 3 stars. Other than that it's a very beautiful place. The bride and groom had a beautiful wedding venue and it was very nice. Also, I am basing my critique on a different ranch venue in the Redlands. The ceremony was not on the location but the reception was. So they had an outdoor are for drinks and hors d'oeuvres. They mingled amongst all the guests with large trays of hors d'oeuvres. Then when the bride and groom were about to arrive they closed that area and we went into a beautiful tent for the reception. It didn't look like a tent when you entered. It had regular doors and everything. Also, their parking was so organized.

This iconic fruit stand is a true South Florida institution. From the moment you pull in, it feels like stepping into a charming, old-school roadside market bursting with color and character. Crates overflow with vibrant tropical fruits, the air smells sweet and fresh, and the whole place has that nostalgic, family-run charm you just don't find everywhere anymore. The mamey milkshake is my go-to and hands down my favorite. It's unbelievably thick, creamy, and packed with rich tropical flavor. One sip and you'll understand why it's legendary. Beyond the milkshakes, they carry incredible local honey, homemade sauces, unique jams, fresh shallots, beautiful vegetables, and perfectly ripe fruits. The exotic fruit selection alone is worth the trip. you'll discover varieties you didn't even know existed. What makes it even more special is that Robert himself is often there, still working and interacting with customers. It adds such a personal touch. Everyone on staff is genuinely kind, welcoming, and happy to answer questions or offer recommendations. Don't skip the back area, there's a small petting zoo where you can buy feed and interact with the animals, which makes it a fun stop for families and kids. It's more than just a fruit stand . it's an experience. A must-visit South Florida classic.

Disappointed. I decided I might as well get a shake since the line was long- I got the Mamey milkshake since I never had Mamey before. It is good. I really can't describe it- not sweet. Creamy. Yeah, kind of like sweet potato. We'll see how my tummy feels after the milk in the shake By the way- this is a large cup. I'm definitely not going to finish this!!! It's great for tourists ands kids. It was too hot for me to walk around and look at the animals- so go in the morning. That's it. I'm leaving. Apparently there's wine tasting 3 miles down the road!
