Looks like a farmers market but the food is a must try!
    Melvin R.

This place is one of my favorite hidden gems in town! I stopped by Tropical Village Farm and had a great experience as always. Maggie took care of me with such kindness and top-notch service she made the visit even better. I ordered their famous 1/2 lb of chicharrones, and let me tell you, they never miss! Perfectly crispy, full of flavor, and worth the trip every time. I honestly come here strictly for the chicharrones, but the entire menu is packed with authentic Cuban food that's just as amazing. They have outdoor seating where you can self-seat, relax, and enjoy the laid-back vibe. There's even a koi fish pond you can feed the fish, which adds a fun little touch, especially if you're bringing friends or family. If you're in the area and craving real Cuban flavors in a relaxed, welcoming setting, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

Bought a Lb of Chicharrones and got a Lb of FAT!!! When I asked the server to please fix the problem she said that she couldnt do anything about because it was already at the table. Quite frankly the attitude of this server was unacceptable, The fact that we drove from Flagler and 107th Ave just for these Chicharrones to get an attitude and over pay for fat is crazy. Never again.

If in South Florida you've got to stop by this outdoor produce and food market. We ordered Mamey and Guanabana milkshakes which are a must if you're in the South Miami area. We also bought Papayas to bring back home. Both employees I spoke to were incredibly friendly and helpful too. The business was well kept.

This spot was truly a find! It has amazing Latin American food and shakes. Everything was fresh and so delicious. We ate like kings got a grand total of 25 dollars!

My cousin took us to this farmer market. What a fun place to visit and eat. The food was delicious and priced well. There are picnic tables and inside tables as well. Aside from the food in the photos, we also ordered tamales and batidos de mamey. I love this place and will be back.

My main reason for this place is the huge, tender and yummy fried pork chunks(masas de puerco) at a very competitive price. I consistently order the pork, arroz Moro and aguacate to go for the whole family. My wife always order the lamb leg and cascos de guayaba(guava helmets dessert). Very large portions, great quality Cuban food, great selection of Cuban desserts and farm items. The service is great and they always help me getting the avocados that are ready to eat. My kids always enjoy the kids playground and the koi fish pond.

My family and I decided to go on a drive down krome because it has changed so much in the last year since the road widened. We stopped here because it looked like a nice family place to go and the pictures of all the fruits and such were beautiful. Sadly, it was nothing like the photos. We were happy to go in and have lunch because there was a line for orders. The place was full so we thought it must be good. We ordered chicharones, pan con lechon and when I asked the man taking our order what was the best thing on the menu he said the lamb weekend special was the best thing they make. I ordered it and it came with morros and a few slices of tomato. We also ordered fries, merengues, a trigo shake, a papaya shake and a lemonade. The first thing they gave us was the chicharones. We went to an open table and sat down. They have all sorts of sanitizing sprays and such to clean your own table to we took advantage of that. The chicharones were the best thing we had and that's why they get two stars. A lady blared my name over the speaker once as I went to clean my hands from the grease then again, and again, and again. I would say that in less than 30 seconds she said my name 6 or more times in this why aren't you here yet tone. The wall to the counter was about 40 feet away and all they did was give us our drinks. We ate the chicharones and completely drank our drinks. The shakes were not so great. Nothing I could give hugely great reviews about. I've had much better and I can't say I've had worse. The lemonade my father says was very tart and he loves tart so that's saying something. Then we continued to wait. It was probably a good 40 minutes before I went back to the counter to find out about our order. As I asked the girl, the woman at the back counter screamed out "YOU'LL GET YOUR ORDER WHEN ITS YOUR TURN TO GET IT" I said ok and went back to my seat. 10 min later I asked her to check the order since so many had gotten theirs before us and we were there before them. The girl then said to me, we have a lot of orderd they come out when they come out and I said we ordered two sandwiches and the special. It's not complicated. She then said we have huge orders that are complicated and we would have to wait. When we finally got the order, it was NOT worth the $50.00 I spent for it. the wait or the treatment I got for spending my money there. The best thing there was the chicharones which I can get just as good in town if not better and the breeze. I would definitely never go back to this place. The food was terrible the service was worse and the cost and distance for both was not worth the time.

I love coming to this place. The food is good and the environment is very relaxing. There's plenty of seating area inside the gazebo and outside under the trees. The recently added a play area for the kids and it's great. I'm able to let my little ones run around while we eat without a worry that they will run into traffic.

Not nice ladies at the front. Ordered the large tamales and a bistec. Barely any meat in the tamale, and the corn tasted bad.

There are tons of vendors, plenty of produce, food trucks, fresh juices, games and rides for kids, lots of parking, and enough things to see that you can easily spend a few hours just wandering around. My favorite part, and honestly the main reason I keep coming back, is La Fontana Verde. If you love herbs, teas, tinctures, and natural wellness, do yourself a favor and stop in. The owners are incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. My family and I always end up asking a million questions, and they never make us feel rushed. They genuinely care and are always willing to share their knowledge. It's become our go-to herb shop. The produce selection at the market is huge, and it's actually kind of fun comparing prices between vendors. My only wish is that there were more certified organic fruits and vegetables available. If organic produce is your top priority, that may be a downside. But if you're looking for seasonal fruits, including seeded watermelons (yes, fruit is supposed to have seeds!), you'll find plenty of options. Another bonus is that parts of the market are covered, so even if Florida decides to randomly rain on your plans, you can still enjoy walking around. Overall, Redland Market Village is a South Florida staple. Come for the produce, stay for the Seeded fruit, and definitely don't leave without stopping by La Fontana Verde.

I am a bit disappointed in the "farmer" aspect of this market. There seems to be only 1 main produce vendor and their prices are way too similar to Publix and some items are even more expensive! The produce selection doesn't have any real gems except for the lychees. Those are sold by multiple vendors and at a very good price! Sadly, the produce aspect of the market is underwhelming and defeats the real purpose of a farmer's market. HOWEVER, the product stalls are full of really nice gems. The best one is the fresh ceviche truck. $5 gets you a very generous portion of fish ceviche. It is super fresh and well seasoned. The kettle corn found at another stand is that perfect sweet and salty marriage that only the best of snacks can achieve. The fact that it is made in small batches with a lot of attention to detail is very evident! The arepas are really great! Not your standard fair food - these are authentic arepas that can be stuffed with a variety of options like pork or veggies and not just cheese. There is also a brick oven pizza stand. The pizza is very thin crust and good if eaten right away. Took leftovers home and they did not fare well at all :( Really liked the pooch perks booth. They have homemade treats and toys for your pets and the owners were very nice to my little boy. Market also has the follwoing stands: smoothies, Indian curries, asian fruits, gelato and some clothing and handmade creams. I'll go back for the finished food products, not the produce. Most vendors take credit cards, but have cash on you as well.
