The last time Dave came was to check out the electrical feed to our well. The pump wasn't working and I suspected it might need replacing (last serviced in 2008). Dave came and checked out the electrical supply box and said he thought the problem might be a defective capacitor, but he couldn't verify it in situ. He said he would take it back to his shop to check it out. He called the next day to say he was bringing a new capacitor to replace the old dead capacitor. I had an issue with what I thought was my circuit overloading. I spoke with Dave on the phone and provided preliminary details. He had an assumption that it was an issue w/ my circuit breaker and not an overloading issue. He swung by a few days later to diagnose the situation and his assumption was correct. I cannot express how lucky we are to have Dave nearby! We bought a home in San Leandro a few months ago and needed an electrician to "ground" our electricity (older home) before our cable company would install the TV and Internet we can't live without. Ed at Bonafide Plumbing recommended Dave and glad he did. It was a Saturday and we received a message that our gas range being delivered a couple days early which was first thing on Monday morning. I forgot we'd need our 240v from our electric range walked down to 120v. Called Dave on Saturday afternoon and he called back within an hour and said he could be here Monday at 10am, which is what time I told him the range was being delivered. He showed up at 10am SHARP, installed the 120v in our kitchen and even fixed a couple of things that weren't even a part of the job. He didn't mention it, but I knew he was doing some extra stuff for free.
