Where do I start!! I hardly ever write a review, but I…read morethought others needed to know, or at least be warned about this company! Because it's not cheap to have a pool company! They started out well, because they had there best guy Chris doing my pool, but he no longer cleans pools, he was a tech, really knowledgeable, did a great job. They were training other guys, it seemed they went through employees a lot,, and they were not trained well, my pool would turn green every month, after the new guy started, I had to call every time to come back, to fix the chemicals.the new guy talked on his phone non stop, I caught him kicking my shimmer baskets, he was to busy talking to pick it up!, He was not good, come to find out he was quitting! Then I get my statement for my credit card bill, and it was higher then normal, they replaced my filter basket without asking, if I wanted to have then replace it. when I got the service, I was told that they would never charge me for anything extra with out asking, I called the owner, I told him what had happened, he said my guy said, you said, it was okay, I said no, I wasn't even here, plus they didn't even show me the broken basket, it was brand new, I think his pool guy broke it, he argued with me for 20 min and even said I guess Chris is lying, I said I didn't say that, then he said you may have forgotten, I couldn't believe this guy would argue with me, then he said I do it all the time to my other customers, I said without asking, or showing them the broken part??,, he said yes, I said, I don't want that, and that's not what I was told!!! Needless to say he wouldn't let me talk, he made excuses, he is awful to deal with! Well I let it go, so in December, it was Friday our cleaning day, I told my husband I haven't seen the pool guy, so I called at 2:00 the recording said, we will be out until January 2, I left a message, no call back. So I emailed went through the whole deal, I said I want a credit on my bill for the week you didn't clean my pool, boy he called right away, he said there is 4 extra weeks in the months so we bill you regardless, I said no one every told me that, he argues with me again, and said yes we did,lol what do you say to that! Then he argued about not letting me know they wouldn't be there that week, I said I didn't get a call, he said no one else said anything, WOW this guy just can't say, I apologize for that happening, they didn't write it on my card, no email, I couldn't believe no one told me! I know everyone needs a vacation, but customers need to know they want be there. Basically he takes no responsibility for his company dropping the ball, very argumentive, basically calls you a liar, and talks over you, on top of that his pool service isn't good, I've had so many problems since, June it's now December! I told him I would find another company! Really I had no choice, I don't want to be told I'm lying, and argue, about everything! just own it, fix it! Well I found a great company, so things happen for a reason! I know it's long, but I hope this helps someone

Called multiple companies, all were pretty close to the cost. Decided to go with Sonoroa because…read morenothing was a "no" or "maybe". First couple of companies could not guarantee replacement on some parts in case they broke, also could not fix previous company caving on one side of the wall. Sonoras team told me not to worry they got it and they were not lying. They took the deck steps apart, fix the caving, came back next day and fix the steps. Even swept the deck of the dirt and picked up all the nails and trash. Thats the attention to detail thats hard to find these days. They brought sand and did some leveling like we discussed and agreed on previously. There was no "sales pitch", it was simple, this is what we recommended and why we recommended it, you as a customer make your decision.

It's been a few years since our pool was installed. So we've learned a few things. We eventually…read morerealized that there were very few suggstions made during the sales process that could have helped alot, (ie. equipment placement, maximizing pool area vs patio area, land scalping, and a few others), but looking back, my feeling is that getting the sale was the most important thing. Of course not knowing the process we thought we were getting the best guidence. It was very exciting during the construction process, and we felt we were being kept up to date and that we had made the right decission. This was the first time we were getting a pool so I'm sure our lack of experience probably showed. However one thing after another kept coming up, and since it was warranty work I felt my concerns were not a priority, yes the easy things that could be addressed in a few minutes over the phone, or that they could talk me through so they didn't have to come out were taken care of, but a service call was a different issue. I eventually realized there was a leak shortly after completion. After multiple attempts, the leak was located and repaired. But it took more phone calls than I felt were necessary to get the issue resolved, and it left a horrible scar on the bottom of the pool. We were promised the plaster that was mismatched during the repair process would be blended or the pool would be replastered, especially since the original plaster was beginning to discolor. Six years later that still hasn't happened. After the very bad winter a few years ago, the heater died, they did come out to replace it in a timely manor, but I was paying them so I feel it raise the priority. My best advise to anyone considering Accent Pools is to get several quotes from other companies. I've read the positive reviews they put on line, many are the same ones they show during the sales meeting, they don't show or post the less than farorable reviews. Don't forget pools require alot of maintenance and are a constant monthly expense. And when something breaks, it can easly cost servral thousand dollars.

I'm so glad I did-he answered immediately and set up an appointment right away. He showed up on time, texted beforehand, and spent about an hour thoroughly checking every possible cause. He found all the issues, explained them clearly, and gave me both temporary and long-term solutions. His prices were fair, and he even followed up a couple of days later to make everything was all good. Truly excellent service! Highly recommended.
