I do not appreciate that at all. Somehow we were blamed for not calling the airline to check if the fight was on. Well we did - the evening prior to departure and the booking was nowhere to be found. So - please stop blaming us for not checking and just get it done. Customer service means to suck it up and fix the problem. Unfortunately my fiance never made it to the same flight and had to take a flight 4 hours later. Unacceptable but I cannot change the past.. It began with the efficient guidance by Cindy Barnett of all the necessary details on a 14-cruise on Oceania Serena from Barcelona to Dublin. No easy task moving from one country to another--five in all--and monitoring all the specific requirements by helping to set up the excursions, obtaining travel insurance and entry documents into the U.K. (which now requires proper authorization beyond passports). Following the cruise, Patricia Ladner, who secured great flight accommodations for the entire trip, also set up the five hotels we proposed to visit in Ireland along with professional drivers to take us from the Dublin Port to Belfast to Galway to the Dingle Peninsula and back to Dublin in the eight short days we visited.
