The store has a beachy, laid back vibe. I talked to the lady working here and she told me they moved the store to downtown Fort Meyers area recently. They initially had a store on the artsy Matlacha island but it got destroyed by hurricane Ian so they relocated here. I wish I would have gone to Matlacha art village but this store brings a bit of that world to you and to everyone in Fort Meyers. It is great to see work created by local artists. They have everything from pottery, home decor, paitings, sculptures, souvenirs, jewelry. Various styles, materials used for creating wonderful merchandise. Nice surprise to find this cute store and learn about their story. Great they reinvented themselves and keep supporting local artists. Parking wasn't bad and if you're looking for a souvenir from Florida then this is the place to go and you can definitely spot where you are by driving down the road and seeing a big metal orange. This place is full of souvenirs to potentially bring back: spices salt, and pepper, shakers, alligator jerky, Florida, popcorn, coconut candies,etc. I love that you can have samples of the juices before buying. They even had some salsa and chip samples. They are shown to have a coupon in the touristy maps and guides. One where you can use to actually get a discount on your ice cream. I ordered the dreamsicle which is the most popular, but I didn't have a chance to look at the sizes and after ordering realized that the lady, I just put me in for the regular size which was too much sugar for me. If it does, though she was kind of rushing me which I didn't love. Also, if you're wanting to use the coupon, you have to have your own copy and cut it out/rip it out. And it's also one per order. I also ordered the Keylime pie. I like the filling. It had a very much coconut flavor probably because they use more coconut milk, but their crust on it was not very good. The cream score was actually pretty good. It was a hot day so it melted pretty quickly, but I liked the orange thing that it had and balanced with the vanilla.

Steampunk clothing is inspired by the fashions of the Victorian Era in England (1837-1901) and the Belle Epoque in France (1871-1914). Gears, goggles, and hats accent the outfits. When my daughter was in middle school she was really into steampunk and went to several cosplays. Our local renaissance fair even does a steampunk day. I will never forgot the whole family dressed up as time travelers who left the Titanic. They were the best costumes ever. As a lover of history, I am really drawn to the steampunk style so when I saw this interesting store off of First Street in historic downtown Fort Myers I had to pop in to take a peek. Another Time is an art gallery that has two rooms dedicate to all things steampunk, art, jewelry, and clothing. There are even some mermaids, pirates, and dragons thrown in. Even if you are not into Steampunk per se, the lovely necklaces are worth a visit. It was really fun to look around. They have another store Timeless that is located a short distance away on First Street.

They are both pretty cool. The employee here was a very interesting person to talk to. He seemed knowledgeable and helpful of the store. He took the time to explain some of the art.

I tried taking a selfie and the owner offered to take a real picture for me. How thoughtful! The store is a bit bigger than most shops and the better of the merchandise are the t-shirts and sweatshirts. They were of better design and quality without being too expensive. By better design, I mean the shirts were not cheesy or super touristy. It does not look like you got the shirt at a giveaway. The designs and cuts were just enough to say casual beach wear and if you wanted to stock up for gift giving it won't break the bank. There are shells to buy in the back of the store as well. Sand dollars were in good condition and they have a good variety of smaller colorful shells too. Good people working there as I was not pressured to buy something. The overall shopping experience was enjoyable. I would recommend checking it out!
