I don't write reviews EVER! However, this has gotten completely out of hand, and if I could give a zero star I would. We gave money on March 30th to schedule a site visit. That's the first problem. Why does a customer have to pay to have a service scheduled? After two weeks still no scheduling was made so I asked for a refund. It is May 27th and it has still not been approved. When trying to ask why or for more information on when I will be refunded, I keep being told another 3 weeks and being told I cannot speak to accounting or a manager. This company is absolute garbage to deal with and just keeps your money even though a service or product has not been provided. Stay far far away from Blue Raven Solar or SunPower. Service stinks. Customer Services stinks. And the price they want for things stinks. One of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with. read more

We were charged $349 on July 29 before they would even schedule service. The technician didn't show up twice, so I called and cancelled on Sept 2 and asked for a refund, and found another company to complete the work. No refund was issued as of Oct 1, so I called and was told it had to go through their accounting office, but they would cc me on the email request. Still no refund on Oct 9, and was told it would be an additional 2 weeks. Who keeps a customer's money for 2.5 months? Poor communication. Poor quality. Poor service. Took months and several revisions because of errors from blue raven. They are the worst.

Sorry guys but I have to give you one star due to the fact that clearly my community has a "No Soliciting" sign in bold letters. Apparently these people send a decoy to get leads, just to get leads because the guy insisted he wasn't selling anything and was not soliciting. His argument was that he was sent here to "educate" us on how to save money, seriously? if I want education I would not take it from a door to door person. No offense but he looks just like one from the lawn mowing company I felt sorry for the guy because solar is not a product that you buy frequently so he probably has to knock on a thousand doors in order to get one lead. I blame it on Company policy, they need to advertise rather than bother people that are not looking for solar energy. Find some other way to sell your product rather than sending a guy in a raincoat and with an attitude. One star for the puppet minus 25 stars for the company read more

Blue Raven is not a good company. You can get the same thing for half cost, check around. They threaten to sue also so what does that say?

Beyond frustrating dealing with this group, right hand doesn't speak to the left. I signed a contract in May, still waiting ...They screwed up design, sent two different teams out to install with different plans, botched the City permitting process, do not return calls, I could go on but what is the point. They came recommended by a friend who now is also having issues and is sorry the referral. Now nearly a month later and multiple calls to Holly and requests to speak to her supervisor all remain unanswered and still no permit approval as the days get shorter... read more

I have had a very good experience with this group. They have been very attentive to issues we've had. I wasn't producing the energy they originally promised and in no time a crew was out here adding to my panels. I've had to have some patience getting this whole thing completed. They typically call back within a few hours. read more

Where do I even begin? What we were told would only take 2 months has now taken 9 and its still not finish, or even installed properly. Oh and we are also making payments for a system that we don't even have! Countless days have had to be taken off work for them to 'fix' their own mistakes and by the end of the day... they still haven't fixed anything! Lets also add that I'm sitting here writing this on the third day in a row they were suppose to be at my house and guess what... no one has shown up! What a surprise. I saw 2 pairs of people going door to door in my neighborhood recently. They had no company shirts or any indication who they were. They just looked like people off the street. Although we have a "No Soliciting" sign at the front of our neighborhood, they continued for a couple of days to bother us. Any people who can't read, I have no interest in doing business with. I've read other reviews where people told them they weren't interested and asked them to leave but then proceeded to give them their personal info. Then the homeowners were surprised when their credit was checked or they received acknowledgement of a line of credit. Don't give personal info to strangers, people!! read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE company to deal with. They promise big and do not deliver on their promises. What was supposed to be a 2 day install turned in to 5 days of people crawling around on my roof banging away. The electrical inspection as a result had to be rescheduled. When they said they were done and left I was out mowing my lawn and noticed a junction box was left open with all the wires hanging out and were not connected. I called them back and notified them. They said they would have it taken care of right away. 2 weeks and 3 more calls later nothing had been done and we failed electrical inspection. I called corporate in Utah and my complaint apparently went to the presidents desk because the VP called me apologizing profusely saying the crew had been fired and they would make it right. That same day their "best guy" shows up and puts up a ladder, connects the wires, and puts the cover on taking all of 10 minutes. Their guy named "Utah" says to me he discovered the crew had mis-wired all the panels on the roof and he would have to come out again with another crew to fix it, but not to worry it would be done before the power company came with my new meter. That was over a week ago. The Power company was here this morning to install the meter but couldn't because they still haven't come to fix it. This will cost me another $20.00 on my bill for a service call for nothing. When I called Blue Raven they gave me the run around telling me people were in meetings, etc, but as soon as I called a different number the person I was trying to reach answers the phone. I have also learned of other people near me who are currently going through the same problems with them. I have received my first bill for a non functioning Solar system. I am contacting the BBB and my attorney and intend to sue their pants off. DO not do business with these people they are crooks and will sell you a bill of goods.
