Upon pickup, we were given a bill for two nights and referred to a line on their website (that we'd never visited) that states pickup must be by 1pm or they charge another day. While this is a good policy, it needed to be communicated before-the-fact. Owner was rather smug about it, and I left feeling very ripped off. (we would have picked our dogs up before lunch instead of after if we had been told of their policy before-hand). Made me wonder if they were hard-up for business. Other than that, the runs were clean and moderate sized and our two dogs were in decent spirits and good condition when we picked them up.

For only $10 a day (7am-5:30pm) they offer your pet a large run, and nearly non-stop interaction and play with other dogs; always supervised, always safe. The girl who runs the day care portion of the kennel (they also groom and board) is super friendly and engaging with both us and our dog. He goes right to her every time we visit. As a note, they do not accept credit/debit cards but gladly take checks and, of course, cash.

I am very pleased with the way my dog is treated with them. I started going to this vet office before Dr. Terry retired, who I thought was an amazing vet. Dr. Maureen has done a really great job in taking over the practice. My pup saw her a lot before Terry left, and now we've seen more of Dr. Michelle. They do what my pup needs and are very pet oriented. I've never felt uncomfortable or off when they take my pup back for tests. I noticed a negative review in regard to wait time, however, the wait time is typically MUCH less wait time than my own health appointments, but there are occasions where it's right on time. Perhaps because they are so thorough appointments take more sometimes. I don't mind a little wait if I know I'm getting quality service at a fair price. I think the same reviewer complained about price too, but it's half what I'd pay in NVa with everything else being commensurate. Also, I boarded my dog here one time and he seemed happy when I picked him up. Good sign. (I hate boarding my "loneliness therapy dog.")

Jessica is extremely knowledgeable, personable, funny, and clearly loves what she does. My daughter was so enamored with Jessica and her training that she and our lab, Korra, went through her therapy dog training with Rockingham Rec Center. My daughter now uses the training techniques and insights that she learned from Jessica on the dogs that we foster for local rescues. Adopted families are amazed and thrilled when they adopt a rescue dog that already knows basic commands and is leash trained. We recently had our first baby, and things got worse as he became depressed and disobedient. When Jessica came, she explained to us that how he acts has much to do with how we treat him and what we let him get away with. Within an hour of her being here and talking with us, our dog had met her two dogs and was walking around the neighborhood with Jessica and her dogs. We were amazed and very thankful. She gave us practical tools we could use with him to help continue what she had shown us.
