Do not hire Tristan or this pool company! He stole $900 from me. Tristan, who appears to run the company, is extremely unprofessional and disorganized. I paid him $900 for a "Chlorine Wash" in order to get my pool up to par and blue/clean again. He came once, filtered and cleaned the pool, and it looked fine. A couple of days later after the pool settled, the pool turned right back to green and was full of algae growth. Tristan said "he would fix it," but he never came back. He strung me along on text and calls promising to "come by today to handle it" until one day he stopped responding and appeared to block my number. He never fixed the pool nor did he ever return my $$ for not doing the job. He was rude and disrespectful on text and in correspondence. No idea how he got legitimate good reviews, this company is terrible. I am also reporting him to the BBB. read more

We switched over to Blue Shore Poolcare a couple of weeks ago and have been so impressed with Tristan. He is very reliable and knowledgeable and also very good with communicating services needed and when he'll arrive. Our pool was being serviced and cleaned weekly before we switched to Tristan, but was starting to look dirty and Tristan has managed to get it looking beautiful again. Going above and beyond with filter cleaning and regular visits to get it back to the standard it should have been at. We are very glad that we made the switch. We found Tristan through Yelp one Sunday when we had an issue with our spa emptying in to the pool. Our previous pool company were not answering our calls and so we tried Tristan in the hope he could help as a one off. He arrived to our house a couple of hours later, exactly when he said he would, and helped us with the issue. Explaining exactly what happened and what to do if it happened again. I requested this company come out and perform a pool cleaning since I was out of town for a few weeks. He was scheduled to come out on a Tuesday but rescheduled for Wednesday. When he shows up at 11am, he says my pump isn't working and my suction line is clogged and it's $80 to clear..ok. Seems odd since it was working fine that morning. I agreed to the additional service thinking he would take care of it while he was there. He did not. I texted him around 5:30pm that evening and asked if he was coming back to clear the clog. He texted me back and said he was too busy. I reached out to a real pool company and they said the inlet line was not clogged at all and there's an air leak. Lack of responsibility and immaturity for customer concerns. I've used him a couple times before without issue, but this most recent experience was awful. read more
