2 years ago I called my insurance company to inquire on how to go about getting the roof inspected for hail damage. They referred us to Blue Sky Roofing and someone came out promptly, inspected the roof, and efficiently communicated with the insurance company that there wasn't any damage. Really appreciated the prompt and professional service at that time. Recently we noticed a leak in the ceiling of one of the bedrooms and since it was alongside the wall where a shower is located we called a plumber first. $250 later, we were told there wasn't any pipes leaking, however, pictures showed dried water spots and discoloration on the insulation which indicated a possible roof leak. I contacted the company that installed the roof in 2019 (Barker Roofing) and they STILL have yet to respond. Also made an a call to Blue Sky Roofing and Jesse got back with me that evening to schedule time to come out to do a free inspection. He was able to come out even sooner than we were available and was very flexible in getting the appointment scheduled. On the day of the appointment, Jesse arrived on time and took a look at where the ceiling where the leak occurred. He then proceeded to go to the roof and said that hopefully it is something he could repair the same day without a fee. That is exactly what he did! He took pictures of the location where he found a staple that should not have been there and he rubber cemented it saying it should last for the life of the roof. He was proactive in taking a look at some other areas where sealant should not have been showing any wear for such a new-ish roof. He rubber cemented those as well at no charge. Jesse was knowledgable and we appreciated his "neighborly" attitude of helping to fix something small that could have turned into something big. And most importantly doing honest business and fixing another company's negligence. When it does come time to replace our roof, the first and last call we'll make is Blue Sky Roofing! read more

Blue Sky Roofing delivered excellent service and higher-quality roofing materials at a better price than several other roofing companies we explored both through our insurance carrier and our own independent research. The installers were a team made up largely consisting of brothers and their close friends / family. They worked beautifully and happily together, showing up each morning at 7 a.m. and leaving when it became too dark. They worked without ceasing except for a short lunch break together. I appreciated their attention to safety and observed they always wore harnesses. Our yard, HVAC and delicate plants and trees were protected by tarps and temporary wooden "shelters" prior to commencement of work. Their heavy equipment and trailers were based upon heavy tires (not metal points that destroy driveways). Cleanup afterward was very thorough and attention was also given to the side yards of our neighbors. The sales representative, Blake Andrews, was present frequently throughout the procedure, climbing the roof, walking around, taking pictures and communicating with us about progress each day. The roofing crew obviously like and trust him. I could not be more pleased with this excellent company, their conscientious workers and professional behavior before, during and after this event. I wanted to put in a good word for this local company for anyone that still needs their roof replaced from the recent hail. I interviewed 4 companies to replace my roof and Blue Sky Roofing was far above the other companies in their knowledge and service. Their representative, Blake Andrews, came to my house and took his time explaining the process and answered all my questions about their company, the process and how to work with my insurance company. He even brought out multiple sample boards of shingles and placed them up on my roof so I could see what the new roof would like when installed. He went above and beyond in spending time to help us decide on a particular designer shingle that would go well with the unusual paint color of our home. This has made our home look truly unique compared with other homes in the neighborhood. Their crew of 5 completely removed the old shingles, nails, 2 layers of felt paper and the metal edge pieces and replaced everything with new. They worked from sunup until dark (yes even in the 100 + degrees August heat) and it took two days to complete. I don't normally write a review, however Blue Sky Roofing is so excellent, I just have to let people know not only how great their service is, but also most importantly how responsible they are standing behind their service even 10+ years later. There are plenty of reviews before mine to tell you about their great services, and I definitely agree with. We had our roof replaced 10-12 years ago by Blue Sky from a friend's recommendation. About 2 years later, a storm came through and blew off a part of structure on the base of chimney that near the roof shingles. We called Blue Sky, the owner came immediately with a ladder to examine and fixed it. Later we found out the problem didn't have anything to do with roof single, it should have been brick mason's work. However, Chad didn't push it away, instead he fixed it for us immediately. We wanted to pay him for his work, but he insisted not to take the money. Most importantly, that was Easter Sunday morning. He had all the reasons not to show up to inspect the issue on that morning, but he not only came immediately but also fixed it for something had nothing to do with the roofing cause, and not willing to take any payment from us. Now, 10+ years later, we had a piece of single got blew off by the recent strong wind/storm, again we called Blue Sky, Jessy Wade came immediately on the Good Friday morning, inspected the roof and checked all the ventilation joints, then sent the crews to replace the blown off single without the charge. I would like to recommend Blue Sky Roofing to you. I first dealt with this company in 2009, when they replaced my roof after a hail storm.They were recommended to me by my next-door neighbor at the time after they replaced his roof. Word-of-mouth recommendation, the strongest kind, and I was thoroughly pleased with their work. I next used them to replace a single missing shingle earlier this year, which they did at no cost to me, 14 years after installation. Imagine that! Company longevity coupled with pleasant, efficient service. They even replaced some squirrel-damaged lead vent-pipe covers, also at no cost to me. Which brings me to my latest use of Blue Sky Roofing, after my roof was again damaged by hail in June. Along with the roof on my house, other damaged items included the metal roof of the pavilion over my hot tub, the garage door and all the down spouts on my gutters. The last two items required painting. I worked with Blake Andrews from Blue Sky Roofing who helped me navigate through the insurance estimate/claim process and arranged for the replacement of all of the above items. He truly could not have been more pleasant or communicative. Especially with replacing the roof on the house, Blake provided helpful support with information, samples and recommendations for reasonably-priced upgrades. The roofs for the house and the pavilion were both done in two days, with the amazing crew working from dawn until twilight (with appropriate breaks, especially for lunch, because of the brutal heat). I contacted them because my ins co said they work with them. Cowboy (Mark) came out for the estimate. He did NOT even check two outbuildings with roofs which would require additional work on my part. He called me a couple of times and I was clear I preferred email (I always deal with contractors via email or text so that I have a memorialized communication trail!) He didn't seem to want to and kept trying to call me. He sent me a contract telling me to sign it. I asked immediately for 2 things: to separate out how much the gutter work was so that I could compare to another estimate by the original company AND where to sign the contract since there was no obvious place. 1st he said he couldn't give me an estimate for just the roof. Finally after asking a number of times, he sent it and I immediately responded that I would sign the contract & have them do the gutter work too. However, that I still did not know where to sign (no signature space on any of the pages...seems like a simple question?) I had to ask him at least 6 or 7 times. I never ever was given a response to just where to sign. Then just Friday, the insurance co sent an email to both Mark & myself saying she understood that the job was canceled. I was confused since Mark never talked to me about canceling and the last thing I had communicated was to move forward AND asking again, where to sign to contract. So apparently, he unilaterally and unprofessionally just canceled the job because HE would not answer the simple question and apparently thought I was not someone to work with? The insurance company was copied on all of the communications and said she would document this in their file since it was not professional to not have talked to me. Everyone on my street has had the roofs repaired (from hail storm) and I still could not get him to even answer a simple question. So now I have to find another contractor and start the process over again. My suggestion to Blue Sky is to also have someone who can move into the 21st century and correspond with people in a timely manner. He also had asked if he could come and get some metal and things that I had laid out preparing for bulk trash day. I thought that was odd but now that everything has transpired, I find it equally as unprofessional to have a contractor ask if they can have things around someone's house. read more

Jesse Wade is the reason we did not end up using the company for our hail-damaged roof. He wanted to use certain materials. We asked him for information; he did not provide it. We didn't hear back and sent an email asking him to send one back with the information he tried explaining over the phone. He sent a link instead. We wanted like-for-like materials, and not change what we had. Instead of telling us, he went ahead and contacted our insurance company and informed them that we made the decision not to hire Blue Sky. That's not what happened at all. He also sent us a blank email. I forwarded that to our insurance company, and the way our conversations and emails went. Our insurance adjuster apologized and told us to proceed with another company. Jesse Wade is unreliable, unprofessional, and a liar. I would not use this company. Obviously he has no problem costing his own company money either. Hope this helps someone in the future. read more

There was so much left off the report it was incredibly disappointing. Blue Sky Roofing upgraded my roof over the summer. My insurance company referred them to me. I never had any roof work done and didn't know what company to use. Jessy with Blue Sky came out and sat down with me to go through what was being replaced. He spent the time to go over all the details of what material was being used, what the cost was going to be, how long it would take, what to expect with noise in the house as the work was being done and offered some very important tips about protecting items like plants under the roof line. He was very thorough and patient. He answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable with his team replacing the roof after we met. He called me a few days before his team came out to replace the roof, just like he said he would. The team came out and replaced the roof in the time he said, which was about a day and a half. His team did the cleanup once the roof was finished. Everything went just like he said. Jessy has a lot of experience and really knows his stuff, which I really appreciated. For ROOF repair, this company is great. They did a great job on our roof. Perhaps I will write a separate review to show that their work on our roof was good. But I feel compelled to warn everyone that their interior remodel team is not at all good. Our drywall came out wonky, a bunch of the baseboards they put in didn't reach the corners of the walls, the cuts around our electrical outlets are crazy so that the plates don't even completely cover some of the holes they made, and they did a shoddy paint job. In one instance, the sconce part that goes underneath an interior window ledge was removed in order to paint the wall, but never replaced and has gone completely missing. So I came home to one window that was half deconstructed. They left it like this even after we called them back a second time to go over everything they'd missed. Go with another company if you need interior remodeling done. read more
