[[HIGHLIGHT]]We started off with an estimate and sales pitch from Chris. We made a decision to go ahead and sign with them due to the experience with him and after looking at their reviews.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We signed the contract on 9/4 and paid 50% of the deposit. Chris told us work would start 2 weeks after we signed and paid. We got a notice from Jon, the production manager on 9/23 that work on our roof was going to start on 9/26. Jon texted us that it will have to be pushed back to the following week, work planned to start on 10/3 while we were out of town. Work started on 10/3, but when we returned back to our home around 1am early Monday morning, our AC wasn't blowing cool air. Our plan was to call an AC technician in the morning. Before we were able to call in the morning, my husband walks out in our backyard wearing flip flops and steps on a roofing nail. It punctured his skin and bled for a bit. I contacted Chris letting him know what happened and updated him on the AC issue. We thought maybe it was connected to the roof job. Jon called, said that he would be able to stop by today and inspect the situation. He stops by and basically explains to us that it is normal for some nails to be left in yards and asks if my husband is okay, but doesn't offer to pay or cover medical attention for my husband's foot. We're lucky my husband got his tetanus shot within the 10 year range. My husband said he wanted to figure things out and didn't have time to see a doctor. Chris helped sell us on their work, reassured us that they guarantee cleanup is done efficiently after I told him that we let our dog run around the backyard and we have a 9 month old baby who is crawling. I believed Chris and that was a huge selling point. Chris also stated that a production manager would be onsite during the work. When Jon was here today, he said that he wasn't there when the work was done because he was at a funeral. We empathized with him, but I think it's up to the company to send another production manager if one is out to ensure quality work. Jon then comes in to ask questions regarding the AC. We told him we just had our entire unit looked at by a technician due to our AC being out right before we left to go out of town. The AC repair was done inside our home near our HVAC system repairing a blown fuse connected to our thermostat. Jon shared with us that he has had his own personal issues with his AC in the past and that he can take a look. I stated that we will have an AC tech come out and professionally inspect it today and update him after he tried to diagnose it himself stating it was probably another technical issue. We had an AC tech come out today, he went up to the attic and noticed a hole in our freon line done by the roofers. Jon also confirmed it was made by the roofers when I contacted him today after his visit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]During our phone call, I discussed all of the issues that made the process frustrating. Jon basically tried to underplay every situation, then I started to advocate for my family as paying customers. He didn't take accountability for any of these issues. He stated that everything was part of the job and these things happen.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Jon also said that whoever was our contractor before put lines in out of code and it was their fault. There's some things that you can't prevent with roof work, I understand, but these were all pretty big issues/inconveniences to our day. The promises that the company/Chris had made were not followed through with. To top it all off, part of the roof work wasn't completed after Jon inspected the work today. I'm unfortunately very unhappy with this process and the lack of professionalism with the team. Jon was unprofessional with me on the phone and continued to gaslight and underplay my concerns. As customers, we were very understanding of the whole process with blue sky up until today. We're going to see if they will reimburse us for the AC repairs that we paid for and will be relieved to know when the roof work is fully completed. Hopefully with no issues. read more

These guys came out here to redo our condo roofs and it's been a nightmare. They've spent over 1/2 of a year (June - Feb) working on our place and not one roof is done. The majority of the 1/2 of year has just been 3 buildings. They now left those unfinished and moved on to others because they are so far behind schedule. They write up a schedule, post it and never stick to it. They say they will be there at 7am to work on your building, don't show and randomly show up on another day unannounced. When they demoed our roof, they put down a sound dampening membrane (nothing else to waterproof) and decided to throw all the tiles from the side condos of the building (ours is the middle condo which they did first) onto the brand-new membrane and let them tumble down, fall on the garage roofs membrane and the front door awning (which broke) and put at least 50 holes in the membrane which led to a waterfall coming in from the ceiling and air vent as well as other spot damage. The tiles wound up damaging our AC unit that they didn't even cover. They dropped metal strips into the AC unit as well which wrapped around and jammed up the fan which took them hours to come look at (mid-summer heat in FL). Our roof is still leaking even after they put some of the metal on so they decided to put waterproof tar paper over all the others but ours is apparently going to stay like this. They have now hired a new contractor to finish the rest of the buildings and they are finishing the demo in 3-4 days per building compared to 3 weeks for ours. They have not started putting metal down on those yet but I assume it will be a fraction of the time it's taken for ours (4+ months so far). The overall product of the one building that's nearly finished looks nice and based on that alone I'd give a more positive review but after what we've been through that's not possible. They do not have any respect or compassion for the people living in the condos while they're working. They show up around 6:30-7am and one of their workers sings at the top of his lungs and beats on the wall with his hands like he's playing bongos (they all gathered in front of my bedroom every morning whether they worked on our building or not). Or they would play the radio loud, sing all day long when some of us like myself were trying to work or sleep. Or, hit the wall with a hammer 8-10 times at 7am and leave or work for a very short time and go to another building. They would carry on in a way that made you think it was all intentional. If you had to leave the condo at any time during the demo you took your life into your own hands because they wouldn't stop to let you past and there was always a massive pile of tiles, roofing nails and long metal strips that you had to walk over to leave. In fact, they left a fresh cut 8 ft strip of metal wrapped around the post and brick paver that I didn't see and tripped over resulting in me falling on my face. Luckily it got snagged on my shoelaces otherwise it would have possibly cut my artery on ankle 1 inch higher. Their answer? "Watch where you're walking"... It took me having to yell at them to get something done about it. This is common courtesy / common sense things to try and not be as intrusive for people living here. They were oblivious to everything. The foreman hasn't said a word to me since I yelled at them until yesterday when I was walking around taking pictures of all the issues, then he said I need to leave the 'construction area'. Where was that concern when they were demoing our building? It seems convenient to me there's an issue now when I'm taking pictures. This has been one of the worst experiences I've ever been through, it's the perfect cherry on the cake of the miserable 2+ year COVID lockdown. I asked the foreman to admit they messed up and he had the gall to tell me "They've done nothing wrong" and that "I don't know what I'm talking about" ... 10s of thousands of dollars spent per unit (20 total) and that's how he treats his clients. read more

Signed contract to have back of the house roof replaced 7/24. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Received message saying they were dropping off supplies 7/24.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Storm hits and pieces are flying off roof pieces hit my car out front and flew into neighbor's yard. [[HIGHLIGHT]]8/9/ No one contacted me or communicated when they were starting the job they just arrived at 7:00 am to start work.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The next day I get a message saying they had extra repairs to do and I owe them 1500.00. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I sent message 8/11 asking them to fix something that they altered during the roof replacement.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]8/19 I get message from sales person with attached bill saying I am past due.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I get a message that they need to come and do final inspection 8/21.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 9/11, I get a message saying that the fix I asked for was there before they started the roof and they are not going to do what needs to be done to fix it.
