We were especially impressed by the 3D rendering capability his team offered--it allowed us to visualize the space before any work began. Ashley, who created the renderings and helped us design the yard, was an absolute delight to work with. She was sweet, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout the design process, and her renderings brought our vision to life in such a tangible way. Once the project kicked off, everything ran smoothly and efficiently. The fencing was installed seamlessly in just one day, and the irrigation, paver, and landscaping crews worked tirelessly to make sure every detail was perfect. Dave helped manage the day-to-day and was excellent at keeping us in the loop. Both Dave and James made it a point to stop by regularly to check on the progress and ensure everything was on track. Amazing work. We started with a small design for our front yard; however, we decided to do our entire yard once we saw the design Japaul came up with. Their team listened to what we were looking for and devised a plan to execute. After three years of abysmal service I have had it. No one seems to care about the quality of their work. Landscaping is a joke. There is no maintenance on the plants and shrubs and when they die, they simply leave them. Try to talk with the crew and no one speaks English. I recommend you find someone else and avoid this company. read more

Conceptually very good. The concept for the yard is great. However, when it's finished it's your problem. So more than $15K later I have a patio full of holes because the bricks are chipping and dead turf all over the back yard. I told him day one that the bricks were chipped so they turned the chipped ones over but now there's about 20 more holes out there in this new patio. Plus they built these huge trellises to grow bougainvillea on the side of the patio and it's not growing so basically these huge ugly trellises just sit on the side of the patio. They replaced the dead turf once but the new stuff is dying too and no one's been back to look at it even though i pay $130 a month for yard maintenance and another $60 to the spray guy that he recommended. So I pay almost $200 a month to maintain a yard that looks like hell. These guys are way too busy. Once the work is done they go away and you are on your own. James doesn't return phone calls or texts. It's like I'm a nuisance. And the office just says they'll pass the message on to James. But because they suck less than a lot of others, they'll probably continue to be too busy to do things right. It's a shame. They could be great if the whole thing didn't have to come back to one guy who's running in 20 directions. read more

This is a commercial and residential landscaping company that seems to be too busy to care about customer service anymore. I called in September and left a message requesting an estimate. Finaly scheduled to come for estimate on 10/8/19. Walked around my property talking about project and he said he would work on the estimate...as of today 10/24/19 still no estimate. I even called and left a message saying please at least let me know if you're too busy to work on my project or if you're interested in doing it or not so I can just find someone else. A week later a lady called to tell me they were still working on my estimate...really??? Never mind! I found someone else who already gave me the estimate this week and starts the project next week. This company did not perform any work for me but did for a neighbor. They parked their trucks blocking the alley, day after day. I understand needing to be close to unload plants and such but they would park empty trucks. To make matters worse, they repeatedly filled the trash bins that are used by the residents and then blocked the alley on trash pick up days. The owner was informed but did not seem to care. read more

James just completed a courtyard area for our dogs. Pet turf with a border of river rock next to the house. He made suggestions for an area where our lawn pump sits and terraced a step for the gate. We are very pleased with the quality of work and his crew. Only delay was weather related. Will be using him again at some other properties we own. read more

Do not waste your time with this company. James came out and walked our property, took pictures and listened to our landscaping needs. He said he would email us a design within 3-4 days. Received nothing. I called every week for 3 weeks and received continued assurances that he wanted to do the job and would have the design to us that week. False promises that never materialized. We have wasted 3 weeks. Totally unreliable company with poor customer service. read more

Absolutely the best. You always feel like you get more than you pay for. Honest, dependable, professional and reasonable. They laid approx 800 feet of pavers for us, and now we have a beautiful patio, and the job was done in 2 days. They also maintain our yard and do an amazing job. read more
