I rented a U-Haul truck through Blue Sky Self-Storage. The online reservation through U-Haul's website was easy and efficient. This review reflects the service that Blue Sky provided as a U-Haul agent. The gentleman at the counter was cordial but made an inappropriate political comment about the price of "Biden's gas" versus U-Haul's gasoline. Customer service is not the place for politics or other subjects. This was very off putting. The next problem is that I reserved a furniture dolly, which was not in the vehicle. What if I had not checked? The final problem was that the windshield was absolutely filthy inside and out. I am not exaggerating when I say that the inside had palpable crud that looked like bird feces. The outside looked as if it had never been cleaned. I had zero problems with the truck itself. So, U-Haul gets 5 stars but Blue Sky gets a thumbs down. read more

I rented a Uhaul van on 2-16-2024 from this location and it was a nightmare. First when we got there there would not allow us to park they told us we had to get dropped off even though the rental was only for 4 hrs. The rental was suppose to be for $19.95 for the truck for 4 hrs, $1.00 for environment fee, $11.00 for insurance, .79 for mileage which was around 18 miles, and then taxes which should have come out to around $53.95. We only used 2.5 hrs of the van usage and when my daughter returned it they would not give her a receipt. When I checked my bank account they charged me $67.94 which shows extra charges on there. The staff was rude, unprofessional, and charged me extra fees without explaining why. I do not recommend Uhaul at this location to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and go with a different company. read more

Had 2 vehicles stored for years before it was Bluesky, The day after I removed one vehicle, they notified me that the rate for the remaining car would be raised by $10.00/month to "maintain excellent service". 2 months later, raised fee by another $10. I have been renting here for 3-4 years now and in that time my rental rate has gone from roughly $80-90 per month to now $170 a month plus insurance and other fees they are charging on top. I just received the email stating this latest price increase today and as such I will no longer be doing business here. In no way is this facility worth $170+ a month. read more

I have never met a more disrespectful man & manager. If you are thinking about renting here, trust me - don't . I am a business owner myself and I would NEVER treat a customer this way... EVER. My partner and I have been renting out this storage for awhile. I have not come until now as I am working on moving states. Since Feb 1st, 2024, I have gone TWICE (that's all), to work on getting rid of some boxes in the storage & organizing through MY STUFF - the stuff I pay monthly to be able to store there. According to Taylor on the phone - that is "NOT allowed." Also, they have raised the prices a ridiculous amount since the beginning. I quote Taylor (the manager) - "you are only to be there or come to your storage unit ONLY to move in and move out"... you aren't allowed to come twice within a couple weeks according to him. He was so disrespectful to me via phone call and spoke over me the entire time. I pay monthly to be able to come to my storage unit and work through my moving stuff (since I am in the middle of a move ). "Not allowed " according to him. Please save the time and money - Do not rent here. We will be leaving so may I ask : Taylor, can I come to the storage now to pack up my things? Save your time and money. Once we placed our order we were made aware it will not be till the next business day. Very misleading considering we needed it same pay. There was an issue where my debit card information kept getting stolen online and I had to keep canceling my cards waiting for new ones to ship and at least 3 times it meant that the owner had to wait for payment for a few days while I waited for my new card to arrive. I started off pleased with this storage place. I had two units and combined them into one. There was a bad storm and a few days later I came to the unit to find some of my things were wet. Inside upon inspection, I found water marks going from the roof all the way to the ground along the back wall of my unit. I found I now had clothes in standing water, ruined furniture and several paintings. I went and explained it to the manager only to be met with sorry not our problem then he handed me 2 cans of Great Stuff foam to seal the leaks myself. Now a few months later I receive a rate increase of 100.00 per month notice. It was emailed to me today not even giving me a full month to prepare. Notice said increase rate is to provide better customer service. There really is no need for customer service there. There is no grass, so no lawn service is needed and there are no lights, therefore no bulbs need changing. What customer service is going to be provided that justifies 100.00 a month rate hike? read more

The entire storage facility is first rate and is kept spotlessly clean by the manager, Taylor. The units themselves are easy to get to with my truck and always look spic and span. Taylor has been especially friendly and really provides a nice customer experience. I have 3 storage units .The service here is top notch even when I had to take care of things long distance to deal with transfers and moving around at a moments notice.
