Kyle and Alex were moving someone into the apartment complex where I live. While they were waiting on the couple they were helping, they noticed my friend and me struggling to get some couches up to my apartment and offered to help. Before I knew it, they had carried my old couches out and moved the new ones upstairs. I tried to tip them for their help, but they wouldn't accept it. I used your company one year ago and had an amazing experience with two guys. But I used them again last weekend and there was a huge difference in service. First, last year I paid $400 for two guys and they moved all of our things in less than two hours. This year I had the same exact amount of furniture and items but they sent THREE GUYS WHO TOOK 3.25 hours to move the same exact items as last year. I paid over $800 for three guys who moved very slow and it felt like there was no sense of the speed and efficiency compared to last year. Plus, they ruined my TV-there is a big, nasty line across the whole screen and the speakers are broken now. My standing freezer has dents on the sides now because they wrapped every other thing in blankets except that item which my freezer is something super valuable to me as I use it for bulk meat storage. I'm so confused as to how this can be the same company and utterly disappointed. They didn't even seem like they were in any hurry to finish the job. My kitchen carpet was rolled up with pieces of Mike and Ike candies stuck in it from one of the movers just snacking the whole time and I guess he dropped the candy in the carpet and just rolled it up. It was hot so of course it melted and I had to get the carpet shampooed because it had orange spots from the candies. At one point, I saw all three movers just folding blankets in the truck when half of my items were still in the truck. Again, I cannot fathom how the same items took three guys double the time and double the charge but less than pleasing service this time around. read more

This review is a year late. My friend was asking who I used to move with & if I recommended them. I went back to find the company & thought I'd leave a review. One of the movers was disrespectful and lazy. I had to confront him and tell him that I noticed he wasn't doing much and was actively wasting time. I had to ask him to do his job which was uncomfortable. The company convinced me that I needed 3 movers, however, only 2 of them actually did work so I paid for the 3rd for no reason. After going to rent a U-haul and being told the truck we reserved was unavailable, we frantically began searching for movers. I solicited help on Yelp and was immediately contacted by Veteran's Best Movers, who told me they were available. One of the owners contacted me and provided a time he would be available. They showed up in the time window they said they would, exited their truck, shook my hand, and introduced themselves. They immediately began work and were done loading a 25' x 14' space with over 2000 lbs of gym equipment in one hour. It started out so promising but ended up so badly. Everything was labeled. Some things were being packed to go to storage and others to go to the new location. So we had to hire someone else to take things to storage and we have had to hunt for things in storage that should never have been put there. Also, when we checked the old apartment there were kitchen cupboards and a hall closet that were never packed.They over did it with the packing materials and so we way overpaid for that as well. I feel bad because the guys were so great and easy to communicate with but the job was just so badly botched. The highest quote was $300 less than what the final bill turned out to be so don't plan on their quote being accurate. UPDATE: owner states I am not a legitimate client but I AM the one who hired them for my inlaws who were residents at Solea. The owner assured me that they were the preferred movers for this senior housing. Now we have, unfortunately, had to tell them of our experience. read more

Veteran's Best Movers moved our office today. We have a huge and extremely difficult reception desk that could not be moved without taking off doors. It also would not fit in the elevator so all 4 guys had to heft it over a staircase and carry it to the 2nd floor. No walls were damaged and the desk was in perfect condition.
